What a beautiful oasis away from the crowds and madness that is St John’s this year. Seems like everyone had the same idea to escape pandemic and come to the Caribbean! Brion and Lainey are fabulous informative funny hosts and you want for nothing while you are here. The resident kitties make their appearance when you least expect them and we have loved every moment of this beautiful place. Taxis stop just outside the grounds so passengers can take photos of Cruz bay below and we get to see it 24/7. A short ride from the town and best restaurants, it’s also a short hike to the stunning honeymoon beach. Best part of this trip was hanging with our crowd around the pool after long days of exploring the island and snorkeling.

This place is quaintly spectacular! Romantic! Perfect place for. A St John sunset! Owners are extremely warm and accommodating. Gardens are beautiful! Highly recommend!

Awesome property and it has to have the best sunset view on the island. Family owned and operated and they are lovely! Excellent stay!

Magical stay…
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Estate Lindholm. The accommodations were fantastic; definitely 5-star quality. The estate overlooks Cruz Bay leading to spectacular sunsets nightly. Morning breakfast consisted of fresh picked fruits, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and a smiling staff. The coffee was fresh ground daily — better than my normal Starbucks order on the mainland. The grounds were meticulously kept, full of island native foliage and beautiful wildlife. The family and staff ensured that every interaction was warm and friendly. They made us feel like we were part of their family. Everyday the staff prepared a combination of soft sided cooler, beach chairs, and towels for your trip to the beach. We stopped by the local grocery store and picked up our favorite beverages for the day. Recommend going to trunk bay and paying for the year pass for your multi-stay vacation. Also, the facilities there are top notch. My favorite local restaurants were Extra Virgin and 1864, both recommended by the Estate concierge. The recommendations were spot on, always. Decided to try our hand at sailing. We had such a great time with Kekoa Sailings we ended up going twice during our stay. Can’t wait to schedule another trip back.

The first impression I had from estate lindholm was the amazing staff. They starting helping with info before we arrived, sending emails and text to help get us there. Then getting out of our jeep we are greeted by one of the staff from the parking lot and showing us directly to our room with a short tour of the property. The property is gorgeous the gardens set the scene if the amazing tropical inn that it truly is. Fresh cut flowers line the the paths every morning and were on our pillows in the room as well. Every morning at breakfast the staff (that felt like long lost friends) were very intentional with helping us with our dailey plans offering advice, directions, and recommendations for a day of activities. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

The owners are incredibly helpful sitting with you at the free breakfast each morning. They recommended places to go each day for snorkeling based on how much wind there was.

The most beautiful, friendly, informative inn to stay at. This gorgeous property exceeded all of our expectations and we are so happy that we made the right choice to get married at the nearby beach and stay at Estate Lindholm!

Secluded paradise accommodations. Owner is a lifelong resident of St. John and able to give first, second and third recommendations on anything you would think of doing. Towels and chairs are available for your beach time. Small rental fee for snorkeling. Rooms are great with a fantastic view of Cruz Bay and surrounding islands. Short (10-12min) but steep walk to town. Would definitely return.

This boutique hotel is perfectly imperfect! The Westin is not a true representation of the feeling of St John, but this place nails it! Views are incredible! No children! Private, but still had a chance to chat with other guests over breakfast. Staff is OVER THE TOP incredible! My husband & I will return year after year!

An absolutely beautiful place!

Great location, very friendly staff who immediately make you feel at home. The little personal touches such as free snorkel equipment and a free ride to the ferry really make a difference. The rooms are very clean and homely and comfortable. The honour bar is a great addition and the views are breathtaking. Highly recommended!

The only thing better than the property is the friendliness of the staff and the service. The owner, Brian, takes a personal interest in his guests and it’s commonplace for him to sit down with guests at breakfast and chat. Really feels like home.

Such a wonderful place to stay in St. John! We stayed here for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have been happier with the property, it is absolutely perfect! The views are incredible, the breakfast is fantastic, and the staff is so great. We enjoyed eating breakfast and chatting with Brion and the staff each morning. They provided is snorkeling gear to take to the beaches which was great, and were very helpful overall with recommendations on some things to do. We stayed in the Haulover suite and in Plantation Cottage and both rooms were wonderful. It was just overall such a great experience and we can’t wait to come back sometime!

We had an amazing time at the Estate Lindholm! Thank you! The view from our room (Superior Salomon Ocean View Room) arguably was the best view of the entire island (see pictures). I was absolutely blown away! The most beautiful view I have ever seen. The room was extremely clean and a very comfortable air-conditioner! The staff (Rachel, Trista and Daphne) were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was excellent. They provided free transportation to and from the ferry dock. If you are looking for a property on St. John with a view then look no further! I cannot give this hotel any higher of a recommendation! We will be back! ❤️

They supply you with everything you need (beach chair, cooler bags, snorkel gear, breakfast variety…) in a beautiful setting and gracious, friendly hosts! Loved our stay and will hopefully return.

Post hurricane visit — We chose Estate Lindholm after staying at several other resorts on St John. The room was very nice, quiet and had a wonderful view of sunsets over Cruz Bay and St Thomas. We enjoyed the pool and deck. Super convenient to downtown Cruz Bay restaurants, bars and shopping. Walk back up the hill or grab a taxi. And you can hike to Salomon and Honeymoon Beaches. We would definitely recommend Estate Lindholm.

We stayed at Estate Lindholm for two days and it was a great start to our trip. Brion picked us up from the ferry dock and was so friendly it instantly felt like coming back to a place we'd been before. We stayed in the Honeymoon room and it had a gorgouse view and 2 rocking chairs to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets from. Breakfast was wonderful and the pool view can't be beat. I'll never forget my stay at Estate Lindholm or my stay on St. John. The place was so beautiful my boyfriend proposed there and it will always be a special place for us. Thank you Brion and all the staff at Estate Lindholm for making our stay a memorable experience.

My husband and I had an amazing stay here for our honeymoon! There are so many positive things we could say about this place. The people that work here are great. Brian and Gordon were down at breakfast every morning to make conversation and give suggestions for the days events. The view was absolutely beautiful and the place is very well taken care of. The room we had was a garden view and was very nice. There was a nice pool to relax by after a day of adventuring and a place to make refreshing drinks to enjoy while taking in the view! The location of Estate Lindholm is close enough to town that you can walk or take an inexpensive cab ride. We highly recommend that you choose Estate Lindholm as your place to stay when visiting St. John!

Great service, beautiful grounds, every need thought of and met.

We just had our wedding reception and party there this past week and I cannot say enough about Estate Lindholm. They were 5 stars ALL the way around and we were so appreciative about everything they did for us. We had 28 people come to the island and Gordon and the staff made our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. The pictures of Estate Lindholm can never do it justice to being there in person. Whether you are having a wedding, party, or just getting away for a couple days, do yourself the honor and stay there. We cannot wait to come back. Gordon, thank you so very much for everything.

Awesome experience. The place is decked out with tropical plants, amazing views, and an honor bar. Gordon was an especially great host.

Great room and board close to Cruz Bay.

My wife and I stayed at Estate Lindholm for 3 nights while on island for the 10 bay 10k Road Race. Just an amazing experience and property. Brion, Gordon, Shayla and the rest of the staff were amazing the whole time we were there. We stayed in the Plantation Cottage for 2 nights which holds a lot of history in those walls and our final night was spent in the Lavango room which was very different than the Plantation Cottage but in a great way. We could lay in the room and look out the windows at the water and Cruz Bay views. Amazing in everyway with a healthy get you started breakfast everyday included. Thank you and will return for sure!

The view of the Estate Lindholm was indescribable looking over the ocean from the balcony from sunset to sundown. The rooms were spacious and well kept cleaned. The suite was even more remarkable with a full servicing kitchen, a dinner area along with a living room with a wrap-around balcony. The breakfast bar was outstanding with fresh fruit and drinks along with a variety of other food. The staff at Estate Lindholm were incredibly nice giving you an island welcoming. What made the staff even more exceptional with the manager who made sure your stay was a pleasurable and memorable one. He was by the breakfast area every morning greeting guest and making sure that everyone was having a great time. He even helped get snorkeling equipment without hesitation. Also, we asked him if there are any car rental places that would have an vehicles available at the time so he called a few places up and reserved a vehicle for us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a memory that would last a life time.

Like everywhere on the island, the staff here are very friendly. But owner Brion takes it even further, drawing maps for hiking trails, ensuring palm branches don't block balcony views of Cruz Bay, and making his home really feel like your home. Step out of your airy room and follow the path strewn with tropical flowers down to the pool (complete with lounge chairs) for the free continental breakfast or a sunset swim. Borrow chairs and towels, rent snorkel gear, and hike/drive down to the many white sand beaches that surround the island. The rooms have a small kitchenette, good sized bathroom (with all the required amenities), comfortable bed, spacious balcony, TV, good free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. The grounds are well landscaped and the words luscious and verdant do the property a disservice. Gorgeous views, great location, and everything you need on site makes this place the perfect place to stay when visiting STJ.

We have stayed with at Estate Lindholm since 2008, and we never seem to find the need to look elsewhere. The rooms are clean and airy and the grounds abound with lush greenery in bloom. If you want lots of activity look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a place to relax in great company, this is the place.

I cannot say enough about Estate Lindolm's staff, attention to detail, location, and its overwhelming attention to the beauty of the grounds that flawlessly blends into the national forrest that it boarders. The gardens that encompass the Estate are full of fantastic color and aroma. My wife and I have traveled a great deal in our 20 years of marriage, mostly in Europe and some in the islands and nothing else compares. We were warmly greeted by the owner (who grew up in St. John) immediately after we got off of the ferry from St. Thomas and given a wonderful tour of Cruz Bay as well as some wonderful spots he suggested. There is no better view of Cruz Bay than from Estate Lindholm and the sun sets towards St. Thomas and it is breath taking. The continental breakfast they provided was a perfect way to start the day where we were always given plenty of advice to help us see the best of what this island offers. The trail to Honeymoon Beach and to Solomon's Beach were beautiful trails to walk down ending at the two most perfect natural beaches I have ever seen, and those trials are right next to Estate Lindolm. They provided personal coolers and ice as well as beach chairs which made it so easy when we loaded up our rented jeep to drive to the other beaches (Hawksnest Beach should not be missed, you drive up and you are there). We cannot wait to return. Thank you to all that we met there and many blessings.
