The young Lady on Reception was very helpful, and was out of this world. She did everything to accommodate us. A true asset to your company.

Everything about it. It's dirty. Can't find staffs most of the time. Can't wash tea cups. Can't be bother about cleaning anything in rooms. It's a hammer house of horror hotel. Everyone I spoke to complaints about the rooms. Change your time of music or build a place to parties. Not good for people to because of all this I wanted a refund for the last which I left hope you can add the £60. For cleaning. Good bye.

DO NOT STOP HERE! This is the worst hotel I have ever come across we were booked in for 2 nights we didnt even make it 1 hour!
First look at the hotel it was shabby when we got to the room it was vile the room looked like it has never been cleaned they was poo still in the toilet when we arrived to the room mouldy bread left in the cupboards and mound in the freezer! And this was the best room they had it was the cottage they have.

Horrible place. Room was dirty and not cleaned during our 2 nights stay. Noise from people smoking outside our room and talking loudly. Breakfast was swimming in oil and was inedible. They had the cheek to charge £15 per night for my little dog because they do a "deep clean".

I would not recommend this place at all. When we checked in there was confusion about our booking even though they had debited my debit card. The room was dirty and there was a lot of noise from an adjacent street. The tiles in the bathroom were loose and moved when we stood on them. We stayed for 2 nights but our room was not cleaned at all during our stay. We had the English breakfast but it was inedible due to being greasy and swimming in fat. On checkout they charged us £15 per night for our small dog; I was never informed of the charge at any time during our stay. When I questioned it the receptionist said all the hotels charge that amount. I have never been charged that amount in a hotel. Apparently our room was a super deluxe! There was nothing super or deluxe about it. Nightmare hotel from hell.

Recently stayed over at this hotel. AVOID! The worst hotel experience we have ever had. When we arrived there was confusion in regards to what rooms were available. The staff were not organised or professional. There was no hot water at the room where my uncle was staying. Therefore, he had to make other last minute arrangements as the staff and management were not helpful. Towels were not replaced. When we requested some clean towels we were informed there would be a charge! Manager at the hotel is not professional at all! She falsely accused us for many issues which were not related to customers. She place blame on us for not having any other customers. Her attitude was erratic and aggressive. The way she handled situations was an embarrassment to the establishment. We have stayed in many hotels throughout the UK, NEVER have we experience such poor customer service in any establishment. On our departure the manager screamed at us to get out. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed at Healey House for my sister's birthday. We were able to check in to our rooms early which was a bonus. We weren't given the rooms we were promised and one of the rooms hadn't been cleaned properly, wet towels and items left in rubbish bin. However, as compensation we were offered a free drink at the bar only to be told there were insufficient supplies. The chef had gone early for an appointment so the receptionist cooked our breakfast, which was very nice. Overall, lacking in atmosphere which is a real Shame cos with sum tlc this place could be buzzing. A little hidden gem. A shout out to Pav who had great customer service skills. Hope this helps.

First of all, there was never any Wi-Fi my chldren were ready for killing each othe. 2nd of all, food was poor if none at all 3rd of all, some staff nice some staff we horrible and rude 4th of all, a rude owner and he is out for what he can get Also, no heating in one of the hotel rooms When moved into the cottage, the heating worked when it wanted the same as the water. Aswell as that after constant reporting of 4 occasions diy men came but not corgi registered and refused to touch the boiler. After that radiators plugged into plaster board fell off and with the holes in the was it wasnt the first time. Also there were fights in the hotel and there were finger prints all over the door everyday they sent down fewer breakfast Avvoid the hotel at all costs.

Lovely staff, especially Pav. Room nice enough. Breakfast wasn't really anything special and was pricey for what we were given. overall pretty good for the price.

Arrived here late, we booked last minute at its sister hotel Gomersal Lodge Hotel. We was told to go to Healy house hotel. The staff was helpful but didn’t know anything about it. Called reception from the room in the morning with the room number to ask them to have the invoice ready and was advised there is no one in that room. So they didn’t know we as there. At reception the young lady gave us an invoice for £49 when we only paid £39 which she was aware of but said the room was for £49. A very unorganised hotel. We won’t say no more.

Perfect little venue for a peaceful family wedding with lovely, safe gardens for the kids to run round in.

The hotel was nice and quiet. Very comfortable and the staff were nice and friendly. They also helped with storing some of my food in their fridge.

Perfectly adequate hotel, staff were very nice and friendly and breakfast was lovely. Only downside was that the room smelt slightly of smoke but otherwise very nice stay.

The room/bathroom was not clean and was smelling bad, bed was ok but no one came to make the bed… To overpriced for what you get…

Was only 38 for a night, receptionist said we hadn't paid enough though we booked online and paid in advance, even showed he proof that we had paid. Eventually she rang some to ask and we got it sorted. Didn't get showed to the room or told about any of the hotel facilities. Bathroom filthy with hairs everywhere. Room decor was very basic and only two coat hangers. No hot water at 3 in the afternoon for a shower. The duvet was incredibly thin so was very cold at night. Didn't eat or drink at the hotel so no idea on the food. Also no idea if breakfast was included as we weren't told.

Experience was non existent! They cancelled our booking 2 days before our stay — said the cottage that we had booked for 5 people had been double booked! Then told us we could stay in the hotel but if we didn't want to do that we couldn't have a refund yet because the manager wasn't there! Still waiting for a refund now — not happy at all!

Haha the room was dirty and in a bad state of disrepair the draught coming through the window would give a wind turbine enough power for a small village the heater in the room would not turn up above minus 17 my fingers are snapping off as I type this, think I d rather sleep in a wheely bin.

Don't pay a deposit or better still go somewhere else. Have been waiting since October for a refund of 198 pounds prepaid accommodation. Gave 3 weeks notice of cancellation. Have received the silent treatment despite several requests. They are just hoping I will go away.

Ignore the press, this is a lovely hotel where the staff are superb and the food is good. The current management are really trying to get this hotel back on track. Robert the manager is a credit to the hotel and nothing is too much trouble. I stayed in the cottage with friends and as you can see from the pics it was great. The gardens are good too weather permitting. All in all 5 star.

The police are currently trying to get this hotel's licence revoked because it was regularly used for child abuse by Asian men from Keighly. Two men were jailed for 36 years. The owner of this hotel was suspected of complicity, or at least — turning a blind eye.
