Had a fantastic short stay here. Staff were absolutely brilliant and welcomed our Shih tzu Teddy with open arms (literally) Honestly I would 100% stay at Moxy York again. I would highly recommend.

Nice hotel. Bar nice filled with plenty of board games to play, for family’s and adults. Only down — kettle in room but no mugs or anything to go with it.

Brilliant and very accommodating — Staff extremely helpful and polite!

We’ve only just checked in so can’t really say much about it yet. But the staff are very friendly and it’s lovel and clean and love all the different colours of lighting.

We stayed here last weekend and what a brilliant hotel it is! The most friendly staff, excellent bar and relaxed atmosphere. Good clean rooms with really nice toiletries. We enjoyed a free cocktail each, plus an extra one for my birthday which was delicious (Solero cocktail, highly recommend) Lots to do in the bar area, including board games, pool, TV etc, so great for families. Will definitely return, thank you 😊

Amazing Hotel! Even had retro board games that you could sit and play with around the bar! The rooms were beautiful 😍 would always choose this hotel when I’m next in York.

Had the best weekend ever with 18 girls on a hen weekend. The staff could not do enough for us. I've never stayed in a hotel like it. The atmosphere is so good. Lots of people in the bar area which you don't normally find in a hotel. Was very impressed with a crew member called josh. He went the extra mile with the whole group. Thank you all for the hospitality. Every one of the staff were fantastic.

Fabulous staff & friendly environment make it a place even the locals want to drop into on way to & from town.

Myself and my partner booked in for 2 nights. The staff have been wonderful and helped cater for my onion allergy when I've ordered food… which was delicious. The cocktails are delish and conversation with staff was lovely especially seeing the same faces. Decor is lovely and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Also if anyone moans about kettles they do have kettles even a hairdryer in the rooms which was a bonus because I left mine at home. Thankyou for our stay I'd definitely stay here again also next time we're about evil eye is on top of my go to list of bars as recommended so thankyou.

We had a lovely stay at the Moxy. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and great bar/lobby area. The staff are exceptional. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thoroughly recommend if you want a modern, clean and welcoming hotel.

We have justgot home from staying here unfortunately no radio on the TV no wardrobe no draws no hair dryer had to be requested room too hot staff great and great location.

Lovely clean rooms, centred well in York, staff lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend it. The decor was fabulous and lovely settings in the reception.

Lovely atmosphere, we sat in the lobby drinking cocktails playing connect 4 great fun. Rooms were clean and warm. Staff were friendly. Lockers to store luggage before we checked in made a lovely start to our stay. Will defined recommend to friends and will visit again soon.

Very stylish hotel minutes away from the centre of York. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are spacious clean and perfect for a short stay. We loved this hotel and will definitely book again.

More than happy with my stay here. Clean, and rooms was uniquely decorated and so comfy. Lovely lounge with board games, and drinks reasonably priced! Within walking distance from city centre would defiantly stay again without a doubt.

More important than anything. It was blowing a gale and we arrived stressed. The staff were beyond amazing
