Fabulous spacious luxurious apartment. 5 star all round.

I stayed in the penthouse with my mum and dad. The things we liked are: The view Clean Spacious inside and out Amazing views Super well-equipped (binoculars! ) Lots of blankets for sitting outside Great shops and restaurants downstairs (we loved Salt Water) Lovely staff They have luggage trolleys! Easy to access parking Superb views Accessible The things we didn't like:

The Penthouse was beautiful and had amazing views out to sea. The property was very clean. Fabulously professional, friendly and helpful staff.

The apartments were literally right on the sea front and were beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful.

Stayed in Kepwick 213 for 6 nights. Lovely apartment with new plush carpets and modern decor. Granddaughter loves the fact the apartments are so close to the beach and Peasholm Park. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic sea view My grandaughter really enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking out to sea The accommodation was really lovely but was looking a little tired round the edges The addition of the private secure parking was a real bonus We Will seriously consider returning to both the accommodation and the area.

Always fabulous stayed in a few different apartments but can thoroughly recommend K216 and K410. Staff are very welcoming and the apartments are always spotless. Brilliant location.

Had a fantastic last minute two night stay at The Sands, we asked for a direct sea view apartment and was booked in Lockton 406. The apartment was newly decorated with modern furniture and really had the most superb view. The beds were very comfy and both bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The Sands in my opinion is perfect for a chilled relaxing stay right on the beach with Scarborough town centre about 20 minutes walk away. Would highly recommend.

Just got back from 4 nights at The Sands — we absolutely loved it. Felt at home straight away. We ordered a breakfast hamper which was such lovely quality we wish we could bring one home, but the meat wouldn't last the 4.5 hour drive! It'd be nice if they'd provide cooking oil to fry the eggs, but the One Stop on ground floor is so convenient and well stocked, it's not a huge bother to buy some. We stayed in Lockton 202 which is 2 bed with beautiful sea views. Superbly decorated and wonderfully clean. First family visit to Scarborough and we all keep talking about when we can return. Thank you The Sands.

Just got back from a 5 night stay in 2 bed Seaview apartment, have been many times and never disappoints, fantastic views, pristine apartments. It's our go to place when in Scarborough, we wouldn't stay anywhere else. We have booked the 5 bed, in May for a family weekend get together and can't wait to show it off to them. If weather permits, we will be back next month.

Chasing the January blues away with a 10 night stay at The Sands. It's beautiful, very restful, fantastic one-bedroom apartment where I'm relaxing and writing my next novel set in Scarborough! Highly recommended.

Lovely apartments, home from home in luxury! Very clean. Staff always very accommodating. Just a real shame there is only one apartment with a step free shower so only one accessible apartment ever available. More wetrooms please!

Fantastic stay at the Sands Scarborough. Disabled friendly we have a child with a wheelchair. Excellent reception staff; very clean; well equipped apartments. Lovely basket of tea coffee biscuits crisps and milk in the fridge. Beds comfy, spotless apartment. Key fob system was great and made you feel safe. Only advice for visitors 2021 there is a shortage of staff with hospitality… book evening meals out… lovely walk (it’s flat) from north bay to South Bay. Or open top bus runs every few mins. We would definitely return and recommend to others. Our first break away since the start of covid. Thanks for the holiday experience.

Apparment was fantastic, everything thing was to a very high standard, from equipment in the appartment to welcome pack to make you feel welcome on arrival. Staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
Will definatly be staying again, and recommending the Sands to family and friends.

The sea view apartments we have stayed in are fantastic. Well equipped, spotlessly clean & well cared for. The views are beautiful even in the autumn/winter months.
All the staff we have come in contact with have always been polite & friendly. Added bonus is a safe/secure parking space for your apartment.

Just stayed for the second time. A few issues raised during our first stay which were mostly resolved. A few basic issues still need addressing, but we won’t let this prevent us from returning. Fantastic views and location. Secure parking. Apartment 215 is stunningly luxurious — we would highly recommend.

We had such a great stay at the sands. The sea views were stunning and the apartment was just perfect with everything we needed. Such a great location, especially with kids. We had loads of fun, would love to stay again.

Weather was perfect — although we were expecting rain having looked at the long range forecast — we certainly didn't get any. Everyone so pleasant and helpful. Would recommend a stay here to recharge the batteries! Planning a return visit in October.

Fantastic sea view apartments, they have everything you need. Home from home, staff are very welcoming. We have being coming to the sands 3 times a year for the last 3 years and never get board of the fantastic views. ☺☺☺☺

Just had a short break here and it was great! Looks just like the brochure pictures. The view from our apartment was Wow! Lovely and friendly staff, rooms clean and stylishly decorated. Lovely homely feeling and the welcome pack with bread, milk, tea, coffee, etc is a nice touch. Will definitely be back!

Best place for me, contemplating moving to Scarborough but then realised I wouldn't be able to stay here as it then wouldn't make sense! Accommodation, perfect for me, complete escapism which is what I need, Hospitality fabulous and location… no better one for me… x.

Great apartments with excellent facilities and staff. Have used before and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone else to use in the future either. Secure parking is also a great feature being able to park your car and forget about it, town isn't a long walk away and there is plenty to see and do. Amazing location to go to the open air theatre as well.

We stayed Friday 22/06/18 until Sunday 24/6/18. We we attending Gary Barlow at the open air theatre — perfect location for this venue as literally 2 minutes walk away. On site secure parking for one car a definite bonus. Sea view 2 bed apartment, lovely views, well equipped, clean and modern. Staff very friendly & helpful. Staying again in March 2019 as part of friends 60th birthday celebrations and can’t wait. We had fab weather but think even if stayed in the winter months be great to watch the sea and be visy.

Upon arrival you are informed that there is no smoking on the balconies. This is not what a smoker would expect and is specifically the reason we selected this destination ie as a smoker I could stay with the family in the apartment and not disappear off downstairs to have a smoke. I would not object but there is no mention on the website or in any terms and conditions. Otherwise the accomodation was good. The rooms spacious and well finished. The kitchens were particularly well appointed. If ONLY there had been fair presentation of the smoking rules prior to arrival.

Apsolutly spotless carnt fault it one bit. We got what we paid for and will be returning.

Beautiful apartments lovely two nights stay very clean and welcoming the only down thing was the Wii remotes dident work but that dident upset the break in anyway will definitely book again.

Cannot fault. Home from home. Staff very friendly and welcoming on reception. Any assistance and information required can be obtained here. Free to use limited dvd library located in reception, and rooms have a Nintendo Wii, with games and controllers available also from reception. Small gym facilities also provided on site. Peasholm is a quiet location about 1 mile, or a 20 minute walk from the train station area. Other businesses within the block include a bar, restaurant, cafe, snack bar, and convenience store, so many options on your doorstep. Plenty to do within the vicinity, with a miniature railway close by, water slide park and family food pub within easy reach. Also later in 2018, an adjacent leisure complex will be open with cinema, bars, and restaurants. Rooms have everything you possibly need, including full range of electronics, safe, high chair, travel cot, and umbrella. Daily updates of upcoming weather, tides, and local events posted to you daily.

The reception staff's uniform should be smarter. The weather was extreme, but since The Sands is a 5 star resort, the initial experience should reflect this. Otherwise excellent. Can't wait to come back.

Stayed twice now, both off peak very good value visits. Apartments high quality. Staff very accommodating. Great sea views. A fair walk to south bay but I understand there's a good bus service. Shops and food outlets handy on ground floor.

Hidden gem in North Yorkshire. The rooms were immaculate and the staff very friendly. Oh and a view to die for. What a weekend away with the family we’ll recommended.

Absolutely love this place! Been coming yearly and would come more if could afford it. Rooms are amazing with or without a sea view. The staff and friendly and there are plenty of facilities on site. Highly recommended if visiting Scarborough for something different and seeking luxury. Keep an eye out for the deals that make that price more appealing.

I’ve stayed in these apartments twice now with my partner and both times they have not disappointed. They are stunning apartments. Defiantly luxury and worth the spend! The sea views are perfect. I would defiantly recommend a room spending the extra for a room with a sea view! They have everything you need and more. Both times I have stayed I didn’t want to leave. The first time we stayed we got a 2 bed apartment with a sea view and it was very spacious, cosy, and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a family. The second time we stayed (November this year) we got one of the apartments with a hot tub. It was smaller but still had plenty of space. It had a much cosier feel to it. The apartments are right on the beach so the views were the best I have had in Scarborough to date. (I’ve been going for many years) the hot tub was brilliant, however the only downfall is that the music didn’t work which is a minor thing in my books. We spent more time in the apartments than we did out and about. Highly recommend the sands. Well worth the money.

Absolutely amazing accommodation. Myself and my husband have just spent two nights in a 2 bed, sea view appartment with hot tub to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The place itself was beautiful, clean and modern! And the staff were very polite and attentive, nothing too much trouble! The 2-4-1 voucher for Alpamare was also very welcome! Already looking for an excuse to come back! Thank you 'The Sands'!

I would recommend The Sands Apartments to everyone. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The 2 bed with sea view and hot tub apartment we had was excellent couldn't fault it. It was very clean it had everything we could have wished for there was nothing to grumble about we will definitely come again.

Absolutely loved it! Came here with my partner and 20 month old son for my 30th and the apartment had everything we needed from the highchair and cot to a dishwasher and washer/dryer, tv's, pans, cutlery ect and the apartment was very clean and modern with a view to die for looking out onto the beach/sea, our apartment also had a balcony and there is a great little shop and a few others including a restaurant down stairs and the South bay is only a 10 minute bus journey from right outside the apartments, will definitely miss waking up to the view in the mornings and will definitely be back.

Really good complex. Very clean and modern. We stayed in the Lockton building, apartment 1. Excellent views back across to the castle. Big bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice balcony to watch the kids play on the beach.

Great view and wonderful apartments! Plus the location is perfect! Not as busy as the South Bay so it's peaceful but still very central. Had such a wonderful holiday here. It's sad to leave the apartment!

My husband and I stay here regularly approx every 6 weeks. Apartments are gorgeous, spotlessly clean and stunning views if you get a Seaview. Marvellous for us we can have our son and family down, they live in Scarborough and love the Sands.

Loved the Sands can't wait to come again on the 24th till 27th June.

Recently spent a couple of nights here and loved it, apparently was really nicely done out and they'd thought of everything, initially I was a bit dubious about the location but it turned out to be perfect, it was nice to escape the busy see front for a quiet relaxing night.

It's a bank of various shops and eateries next to the sea. Holiday flats are above.

Did not dislike the sands. Have stayed quite a few times. We thought everything about it was first class. Coming again soon.

This is very good and new apartments. I think, best in Scarboroug. But. No cleaning every day, check out very early.

I simply cannot fault these apartments. Their location is superb, they are clean and they are extremely comfortable. The car park is secured and entry to the buildings is by key fob so they're nice and safe. You're within touching distance of the beach and only round the corner from Peasholm park. You could not wish for anywhere more conveniently located or more comfortable.
