Steve and Karen were the most welcoming hosts and made our family feel right at home for the three nights we stayed at the Headlands. The room was well decorated and really clean, and nothing beats a freshly cooked Full English breakfast every morning. We’re definitely coming back for a longer stay next year 😊

A fantastic place to stay. Steve and Karen are so friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed immediately and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our children felt welcomed and loved the pancakes for breakfast! Spotless, modern rooms with a great view of the castle and a family room for 5, which is an amazing find. Perfect for a few nights away, already booked our return!

Very warm welcome. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood in the quiet North Beach. Plenty of parking. Great views. Friendly, welcoming staff and very yummy breakfast. Dinner also available. Very clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

This Hotel is run with TLC and it is obvious that Steve and Karen take a great pride in their Hotel. Stayed in superior double room, spotless well equipped as was the large modern bathroom. Lovely hot freshly cooked breakfast. Bar so good we stayed in and enjoyed the ambience. Sky sports too. Close to Peaseholme park and Scalby also within walking distance. Will be our go to hotel for future visits to beautiful Scarborough.

We have just had an amazing 2 nights at this hotel and we couldn’t recommend it enough the room was lovely and clean. The service was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend we will definitely be booking again.

Six of us recently stayed for two nights at The Headlands Hotel. Superb hotel, a little gem. Steve, Karen and Angela were fabulous hosts. They made us feel very, very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely appointed bedrooms and public areas, all of which were spotless. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and exceptional quality. We are looking forward to returning.

Only stayed 1 night, gutted we hadnt booked more but was only a quick overnight getaway. Lovely location. Really lovely hosts and so friendly. The hotel was bloody amazing, we was in a 'small' double, if that was classed as small then im thinking the larger rooms will be huge, it was clean, plenty of tea and coffee and toiletries, ask for more id you need them, the breakfast was bang on, if you like your eggs poached thrn deffo have them, best ive ever had… will definitely be going back and will definately be staying here…
coming in from a day out the bar area is so serene and beautifully decorated… no hiked up bar prices either, brilliant. Well done!

Brilliant for family’s. A number of rooms with bunk beds so ideal if you have younger children.

Lovely bar area with games to keep the family entertained while you unwind with a glass of wine.
The breakfast had lots of options. I can personally recommend the cooked breakfast.

Super hotel, great bar, great service.

We stayed here in October — lovely room and great breakfast — ideal for our visit as were attending a wedding at Northcliife golf club.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here. Spacious rooms, comfy bed, good breakfast. Information pack was really helpful and helped us decide where to visit and eat. Hotel was extremely clean and staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

Great hotel, half an hours walk from centre of town (scenic route), very well equipped rooms with great bathroom facilities. Friendly staff and great food. We have just returned from Scarborough after attending the annual scooter rally and wouldn’t hesitate booking in at the headlands again great hotel.

Stayed for one night as we were going to a concert at the open air theatre; the hotel was a 5 minute walk from the venue so was in a perfect location. The hotel was immaculately clean and had a lovely homely feel about it. We were made very welcome when we checked-in and the requests that had been made when we booked online had been noted and were mentioned, which was extremely helpful. There was a large choice for breakfast and the full English was delicious; there was a good gluten free option too, which was really helpful as this isn’t always easy to come across when you’re away from home. The staff were lovely, welcoming and very helpful. I would recommend The Headlands Hotel to anyone and we will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay.

We had a really lovely stay here. It was clean and very comfortable and the staff were friendly; super breakfast to top it all off. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely weekend, really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was very good and Gill and Dave were very helpful. After checking out we were staying in Scarborough and let us keep our car in the car park until we went home later that day which was very much appreciated.

Just had a 1 night stay for the open air theatre… 5 min walk, unbelievably clean, room was better than most 5* we have paid alot more for with a good shower, freindly hosts (and other guests in the bar later) lovely brekky (maybe more fresh fruit but thats my preference, the full english was excellent) I cant rate our stay less than 10/10.
We have stayed in other accommodation for the open air theatre in the past but we will most certainly be back at the Headlands for any future visits to Scarborough!

Very friendly hosts, perfect location right near the beach (5 minute walk) which is also right near peasolm Park. Free parking om site or can park for free on the road.

Nice hotel, good breakfast.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights with our two young daughters. Really lovely, family friendly place to stay. Very welcoming. Room clean and maintained to a high standard. Loved the view from our room. The info pack in the room was really useful, particularly when looking for family friendly places to eat. Breakfast delicious. Good choice, tasty and hot. Overall a lovely place to stay, would recommend.

Having stayed in several, this is the nicest B&B that I've been to in Scarborough. Clean, spacious, friendly, close to the beach and good parking.

Great location. Top of the hill overlooking Peasholm Park. Spacious comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Good food and hospitality.

Quiet and comfortable. Good vegetarian full English, soy milk on request. Order croissants and waffles a day ahead if required.

I am usually fussy with where I stay but this place is beautiful. Very clean, Beautiful breakfast & Amazing staff not forgetting amazing location. Usually it's children who don't want to leave but it's turned to me lol Thank you for a wonderful stay, We will definitely return x.

We recently visited Scarborough for a friends wedding and stayed 2 nights with Dave and Gill at the Headlands and very glad we did. The room and en-suite shower were spotless, the bed was really comfortable and the breakfasts were great quality. We especially liked the attentive and speedy service. As we arrived a day early for the wedding we wanted to have a look round as well as grab an evening meal somewhere. Dave let us know where to go. We walked round the promenade to the busier bay and had a fantastic meal right on the harbour.

“Value for money! ” Reviewed 14 June 2013 NEW via mobile Great value for money, room very clean and bed really comfy. En suite compact but fully functional, shower hot and powerful. Good location as only a short walk to the sea front, &, on a clear day there was a sea view! Breakfast has a good variety, service friendly and prompt and more than fulfilling for all appetites. Friendly, accommodating patrons which is so important, and, would definitely stay again.
