We had 3 nights here last weekend and Amy and her team made us very welcome. All brilliantly Covid-safe, fantastic breakfasts, nothing too much trouble. I’m sure we’ll return one of these days, but thank you Amy for looking after us so well!

I have been staying at The Old Coach House since it opened. It is a lovely place to stay, with warm welcoming staff, and luxury facilities. The presentation of the rooms is first class, and during these very difficult times we all find ourselves in, the level of cleanliness is exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay whilst away on business. Thank you Amy for such attention to detail, and your warm welcome.

Stayed at the B&B for three nights in March, such a relaxed break. The rooms are beautiful, Netflix, prime and stars TV for those stay in nights and a book full of local eateries for the alternative.
Plenty of local activities near by such as national trusts.

We spent 2 nights here. It has beautiful surroundings… room was immaculate! Breakfast good too.

My boyfriend and I have returned today after a two night stay and we were very impressed. The Old Coach House looks beautiful in the photos and looked even better in real life. We can not fault the hotel. Rooms are very tidy, beautifully decorated and cosy. Rooms are complete with fridge, hairdryer, towel rail, television and a safe. Lovely selection of teas, coffees and biscuits in the room. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. If we get the opportunity we would definitely stay here again.

Me and my husband stayed at The Old Coach House for our 'mini moon' in April.
We had an amazing time. The room was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was lovely. The staff would go above and beyond to help you if needed. Yorkshire Teabags in the room is always a bonus. I honestly cannot pick any faults! So worth it and we'd definitely go again!

Lovely place to stay this was our second stay there. Rooms are very clean have everything you need and more. Breakfast is excellent all freshly cooked good choice of cereals fruit youghurts etc. Staff are so friendly nothing to much trouble. If you need somewhere to stay in the Thirsk and Ripon area this is the place to say. Excellent all round.

Lovely place for a romantic break. The rooms are outstanding, everything you could need is here. You have the added benefit of The Staveley Arms just across the road.

This is an excellent five star B&B with exceptionally well appointed rooms all of which have their own character. The bathroom is well stocked with the necessary accessories. There is free parking for guests. The breakfast served in the breakfast room is superb, with a good choice of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt and wonderful selection of cooked egg, bacon, sausages and all the ingredients of a full English breakfast. Very good value for money.

Loved our little stay here. Gorgeous room and so welcoming. Hand made biscuits and alongside a cafitierre of coffee was a huge hit with us and what a real treat to open the bathroom door and find Temple Spa toiletries. Breakfast was superb and the staff were so bright and bubbly and friendly. Definately will be paying another visit or two.

Spent two nights here but just didn’t want to leave. They had thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. From the little extras such as a lovely vase of fresh flowers and fruit and chocolates, dressing gowns and slippers to the cleanliness and comfort of the room, linen, service etc… Breakfast fit for a queen gave us a good start to our day. There was an abundance of fresh fruits, Greek yogurt, Danish pastries, cooked breakfast, smoked salmon, fruit juice etc etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Amy gives it the personal touch, she made us feel at home and was very friendly and helpful.
The Old Coach House is furnished to a high standard and is very pretty and ideally located. The pub across the road is perfect if you want to go out in the evening without having to drive.
I honestly can’t think of anything negative to say; it’s second to none and we will definitely go back soon.

A very stylish room with a super king size bed and lovely bathroom with bath/ shower.
A small fridge and safe in the wardrobe. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room where you can get cereals coffee and tea and banana cake and fruit. Then you can choose full breakfast or omelettes smoked kippers and scrambled eggs etc. The breakfasts are lovely and fresh and you get toast. The staff are very friendly and helpful and welcoming and you are made to feel like it's home from home. Would highly recommend this bnb and would return.

Very nice place with all the modern fixtures and fittings you'd expect and desire from a luxury guest house. The old coach inn located in North Yorkshire, a short drive from Ripon is a great base to explore the Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Dales. The location is quiet and peaceful. The room is modern and very clean. The outdoor space is well kept. The breakfast room is airy and light and the food is all great quality, including fresh fruit and berries … none of that tin can syrupy stuff. The ladies who run the guest house are very friendly and helpful and looked after us well. Amy particularly helped to decide where to visit while in Yorkshire and recommended places to go and eat nearby. All in all, it's one of those places you'd be happy to stay in again even if you're like me and generally don't like staying in the same place twice. Please try this place out!

Great place. Lovely room with a very decent shower. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is as good as you'll get in a posh expensive country house hotel. Actually better. The good reviews this place gets are in my opinion well deserved.

Definitely a must! Beautiful building with lots of character and beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous and a good selection of morning papers to read. Very friendly staff, also.

Had a fantastic stay at the old coach house well worth the five star certificate. A big thank you to Amy and Jackie for making our stay perfect. The room was beautiful and everything was so thought out, even had fresh fruit and flowers on arrival, and home made biscuits and chocolates awaited us. The breakfast was amazing I will definitely be recommending the coach house to friends and family. Wow. Wow. Wow. My husband and I have just spent our mini-moon at the Old Coach House which was the PERFECT getaway for newlyweds. The setting is beautiful (even in the good ol' Yorkshire rain! ) and the location is handy as well as peaceful. The room itself was one of the best I've ever stayed in — and my work means a lot of hotel stays! The bed was incredibly comfortable (going back to my own was a disappointment…), the cafetiere, home made biscuits, fridge, armchairs — just everything was catered for! The bathroom was also well supplied with fab toiletries and a wonderful big bath as well as awesome shower. Breakfast was an absolute delight. I can not speak highly enough of the coach house. The warm welcome and friendly smiles go a long long way in making an enjoyable stat. It will always be very special to us as our first getaway as husband and wife — we will be back very very soon.

A fantastic B&B we happened across when searching for accomadation for a wedding reception in Ripon. The rooms are nicely laid out, clean and beautifully decorated. Friendly staff and brilliant breakfast, just a shame we couldn't stay longer. I will definitely be recommending The Old Coach House to friends and relatives, plus returning myself 10/10.

Looking around the room to find a fault, I could not. Same with the breakfasts. I travel away for 3-4 nights every week and this is in the top three of places I have ever stayed at in this country. Yes, it's that good.

Absolutely brilliant. My wife and I stayed for one night to have a nice relaxing break and it certainly did the trick. It is set in a beautiful village and grounds. The rooms are first class and the breakfasts are gorgeous. The staff are very friendly. We will definitely be returning.

From start to finish the whole 'Old Coach House Experience' was first class and more. Fantastic and spotless room in superb grounds. Very friendly, helpful and attentive hosts. Beautifully prepared breakfasts, with a wide choice available. To be able to award a maximum of five stars doesn't do the place / the people / the experience justice. Amazing value for money.
