Very clean hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are nice and big we paid extra for a sea view. Glad we did Amazing views. Watched the sunrise too. Food excellent with excellent service.

Stayed here for a few nights, lovely hotel, clean room. Although could do with a little update (covid hasn’t helped) views are amazing! Food really nice, staff all friendly. Would defiantly return again. Well worth the stay 😀

Great food, stunning views, helpful staff. The whole place could go with a good clean. Handprints on the bedroom mirror at kids height, very dusty everywhere. That was the only letdown.

Staff was amazing couldn’t do enough for you very polite and helpful clean rooms and the views are stunning.

We got married at Ravenhall 16th July 2021, I don't think I can ever put into words how perfect our day was. Ben Gemma and Amy made sure everything ran smoothly, the staff were wonderful. The food was absolutely beautiful. The venue is undoubtedly the best with the views being put of this world. Getting married here was a dream come true for us both.
We can't wait to return every anniversary. The memories made here will last forever.

My husband and I got married at Raven Hall last week and we had the most amazing day ever! We are so pleased that we chose Raven Hall as our wedding venue. We were made to feel so special and all of the hotel staff were incredible throughout the whole day and evening, ensuring it all ran smoothly. Our guests were stunned by the beauty of the venue and the view outside. So many wedding guests commented on the delicious food and amazing service, too. The day really could not have gone better. In particular, Gemma, Ben and Daniel were amazing. From our initial booking to look at Raven Hall as a potential venue right through to checking out the day after our wedding, the communication and service we received was fantastic. We postponed our wedding by a whole year due to Covid-19 and we were so relieved and thankful at how easy the team at Raven Hall made it for us to do this. Thank you again to all of the staff at Raven Hall for making our big day even better than we had imagined it to be.

Walked up from Robin Hoods bay and wasn’t disappointed with the views — spectacular!
We had great table service even outdoors to enjoy the bay views and the food was great too with pleasant staff.

The lamb rump was to die for, great staff and room, shame some of the other customers are so fussy! Will be going back soon!

The Raven Hall is a fantastic venue in beautiful surroundings and all the staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 2 nights amazing views and brilliant walks.

Had our wedding here on 6th March 2020… could not have asked for better service! All staff were amazing and polite, they went above and beyond to make our day special.
The venue is so pretty and luckily we had beautiful weather to enjoy the grounds. Thank you all at Ravenhall! Zoe and Rob Taylor.

Terrible customer service in regard to bookings while Covid 19 is happening! Don’t book direct go through a 3rd party just in case you need to cancel! Also seemingly the only hand sanitizer is at the entrance to the hotel! Following government guidlines from all accounts.

Fantastic venue for parties! We had our silver wedding anniversary on 9.11.19 the staff were incredibly helpful to the older members of the party and helped me at the end of the night to clear up! We had a night to remember thank you.

Staff rude and unhelpful … staff obviously dislike working there… the dining room manager was one of the rudest men I’ve ever come across!
Hardly any British staff so it was frustrating to communicate with staff members …
The food standard was kinda ok but we had to sign for food halfway through our meal which I’ve never had to do EVER!
Trying to get into the swimming pool was a joke … my husband was given two lots of keys and had to keep returning to the front desk for help! In the end he gave up!
They rely on the beautiful views and that is really sad! We spent a lot of money here on our accommodation and meals and I begrudged paying a penny of it! I would rename this place Faulty Towers! We won’t be back! And won’t recommend either!

A little far off the beaten path but we'll worth the drive. Very unique place to stay and beautiful seeing.

Beautiful pace with amazing views and superb grounds to walk round. A beautiful beer garden to sit have a wine and a sandwich would highly recommend people go here x.

Stayed here for our daughters wedding on Easter Sunday. We could not fault a single thing the whole weekend. Perfect accommodation with stunning views enjoyed by all the guests. The day of the wedding was absolutely faultless. Ben and his team of staff were truly amazing, nothing was any bother, we were so well looked after and Ben especially just made us all feel at ease. The find both day and night was superb and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thank you Raven Hall for making our daughters wedding day run so smoothly from start your finish. A magical experience none of us will ever forget.

We stayed here just for 1 night to get away from it all. Thank you to the staff for making us feel very welcome. The staff were attentive without been intrusive. Before we arrived we contacted the hotel to ask for an up grade — a sea view. This was done with no fuss and wow, what a view. The room was clean and well kept. When we got home my partner realised he had left his jacket in the room. The housekeeping staff were informed. Jacket and partner are soon to be reunited! I would highly recommend your hotel to my friends and family. In fact — I have done so and they will be staying with you this week. The power of Social Media. Thanks again.

No hot water, tap not working in bathroom, stained carpet, not happy as had been talked into paying for an upgraded room. Manager couldn't careless no apologizes. Breakfast quality poor my daughter asked for scrambled egg on toast, it had obviously been sat around ages as it was grey and really salty after she sent it back a similar grey sludge on burnt toast came out. The swimming pool was out of order, no mention on the website, Wi-Fi didn't work. Reception rooms are Dingy with threadbare carpets. Spend your money elsewhere.

“Not worth the money ” 눉Hotel is a construction site. Rooms are not clean. Rooms poorly equipped with power outlets. Car park is too far from hotel. We moved rooms because allocated one not suitable because of above, second room very poor quality so we only stayed one out of the four nights booked. No refund offered. …
눇Location gives good views. Stayed in June 2018 Sad to see that after such a poor stay no refund offered after such poor attitude from staff, Scaffolding outside the original non standard room paid for not only were my parents moved rooms they were moved into a standard room with no offer of apology. Power extension cables run under mats and when boiling the kettle the wire got extremely hot. No way would it pass any safety checks. So bad they didnt feel welcome or safe to continue their stay so left after 1 night even though they paid for 4 nights.

What an amazing place we came from far and wide including South Africa and we couldn’t have been made more welcome if they tried — fabulous food in restaurant and at wedding everyone catered for including special diets and no trouble to ask. Room was beautiful and clean and many thanks to the girls that did ours and the brides for being so understanding and careful with all the dresses — reception staff thanks for sorting everything and — Ben the wedding coordinator you are amazing — thank you all again
A true gem of our English countryside.

We stayed in a lodge the tuesday for one night, the view was to die for, the lodge had everything you could want and the staff were brilliant. Next day I asked if free on the thursday and we came back we enjoyed it that much. Will be back again and highly recommend it.

Would love to come again after Christmas but as we don't have a 4 wheel drive I doubt we would get through from Cloughton (that is the only negative thing I could say)
A lovely luxurious place in an old fashion mode (but NOT old fashioned) the staff are very friendly and helpful and our room was lovely. The view are to die for. Hopefully we will be back.

Just returned home from an amazing 2 night stay in room 202. First class place with the obvious fantastic view. Staff were all polite and friendly especially at meal times so well done. Just short of a 5th star just because I personally felt our room felt a tad tired but I'm being picky… oh and a large toe nail on the floor and grotty mastic sealant around the bath/shower but would happily return without any doubt… thanks Raven Hall for a wonderful stay.
