Been for a hen weekend. It was amazing. So relaxing. Mandy and her staff were brilliant throughout. Loved it and cant wait to come back.

This place is wonderful. It’s in a beautiful spot, with lovely views. The accommodation is clean & the staff are very friendly. The food is delicious too. I didn’t want to leave & can’t wait to go back.

We have just spent an amazing weekend at the laskill house. Mandy is a wonderful host, was always on hand for anything we asked and we loved the peaceful private surroundings for our family. Such a lovely place to stay, so welcoming and the bedrooms were stunning. We ate both in the evening and for breakfast and the food was delicious. We will be booking again soon.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay in the cottages you have everything you need, they have thought of everything I would definitely want to come back. Lovely friendly and down to earth staff. We'll worth the visit.

Perfect place to escape to if you want a quiet few days. Remote enough to chill but Helmsley is 6 miles down the road so you are not entirely cut off. Mandy, the owner can’t do enough for you and the staff are great. All very polite and helpful. Great food, the breakfast is highly recommended All in all a great place to stay.

Superb retreat that we've been returning to for many years. Mandy is the best host and the service provided is top notch. Beautiful cottages and a manor house in the rolling hills of North Yorkshire.

We got married at Laskill House just over a month ago, and had very little time before the wedding to organise the larger details, let alone the smaller details! Mandy held our hand throughout the whole process, pulling off a fantastic day in which her (and all of her team) worked so hard not only to make sure everything went smoothly, but also to ensure that every single one of the guests (100+) felt looked after. The food was superb and all home cooked, with a BBQ being the main event which went down a treat. The venue itself was the perfect place, and even though it rained — the house and sorroundings still looked beautiful. I think the biggest compliment I could pay Laskill House & Mandy's team was that I was so comfortable in inviting guests from all over the country, as I knew there would be a warm welcome and a comfy bed waiting for them. If you are considering getting married at laskill house, my advice would be — GO FOR IT. It's so much more special & unique than other local venues.

Been back after numerous times last year, Mandy and Annie are the perfect hostesses and I wouldn't go anywhere else for our valentines night, beautiful place set in beautiful surroundings. We will be returning shortly, can't recommend anywhere as highly.

I stayed here back in October. The staff were the most friendly and accommodating team I have ever met. They went over and above expectations to ensure that I felt comfortable and happy during my stay. I arrived slightly later in the day and was invited to join the owner and several other guests for afternoon tea and cake and was made to feel welcome right away. Could not have been happier with my room and the stay and will be definitely returning in the summer!

Like staying at a friend's county estate. Beautiful grounds in a lush valley, surrounded by sheep and horse pastures. Hosts were kind, friendly, and accommodating. Food was delicious, including a great tea service. Rooms and furnishings are not overly fancy, but unique and charming, and typically included sitting rooms or access to large, very comfortable common rooms. Strongly recommend, especially if staying with a group.

Great place in fabulous surroundings, rolling hills of the north York moors. Run by a very friendly family and not far from the lovely village of Helmsley. Thoroughly enjoy photographing weddings here.
