Great for a night out. Serves food and there is an outdoor area with seating in the old stable yard.

Really nice atmosphere, brilliant food. Just what you want for a casual meal with friends or family. Eaten here twice now. Once with family and one with my partner. All the meals have been really good. Would recommend.

Quality of food has gone down, service is mediocre, forgetting simple things like milk and sugar with your coffee and lack of any condiments with food. Also the meeting room used to be free to book now asking £80 for a booking. Food prices do seem to have been lowered, along with the overall quality.

Excellent choice of drinks, and the food is amazing. We had the chicken skewers and the treacle chipolatas. I'd go back.

This is the second time I have visited and the food was as excellent as the first. The staff are helpful, attentive and very friendly, making the whole evening a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Best fish n ' chips I have ever had! Not stodgy, crisp and light, beer batter and mint peas. At £13 a bit pricy, but well worth the extra cash. Staff were lovely, lovely settings, thanks!

Been here for the first time since it was taken over. Absolutely fantastic. Used to go regularly but stopped when it got bad. Taken over, back to its best. Love it here.

My partner and I visited The Station over Christmas for some drinks with family. Since our last visit earlier this year it has changed hands and been redecorated and it looks great for it. The staff are really pleasant and the food is fantastic. Definitely worth going here if you are visiting Clitheroe.

Food was ok but over priced. Was better before the refit. Service not great forgot part of our order. Music in part of the pub was to much you could not here what anyone was saying. Will not be going back.

Just opened after a change of ownership and refurbishment. Very disappointed that it's previous Dog Friendly policy has stopped. Strongly suggest they think again; most pubs in the Ribble Valley do. It was a strong favourite of ours.

Stayed here 21/10/17 and loved it, it was under renovation but the new owner did everything he could to help make our stay the best it could be will definitely stay here again.

Popped in for early evening meal. It was quiet at 16.30 on Tuesday afternoon. The young barmaid was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The hotel is lovely and has kept some of the Railway Hotel vibe updated, and very comfortable. Choice of beers was good, I went local-ish and has a refreshing pint of Thwaites. Plenty of choice on the menu. Go for a main meal if your starving the portions are huge and very filling. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Clitheroe.

A great location within the town with great quality, good value food, plenty of drinks to choose from. When the weather is with us a choose being outside or comfortable inside.

Handily located across the road from the railway station, this is a modern pub that serves decent meals and offers a fairly good range of beers on tap. With its open plan layout and clusters of chairs and tables, it's a good place to meet your group before heading out into town.

Good food and friendly service. Myself and my girlfriend visited for a meal and was seen to straight away. We ordered our food which came in big portions and it tasted great, however one side didn't arrive. This was spotted by a member of staff before we had chance to mention it and it was brought out soon after and the item knocked off the bill. All in all our experience was positive and we would certainly recommend the Inn at the Station.

On friday 8th july, I met 2 friends visiting clitheroe over the weekend, we chose The Station to meet. How embarrasing, at 6pm on a friday night our favorite beer was not available, ITS RUN OUT " we were told with no apology or alternative offered. The 2 young girls behind the bar (who barely looked old enough to be in a pub let alone serve in one) had no personality or rapport with the customers at all. Consequently we moved on to another venue, where we had food and a lot of satisfaction. Sorry station very poor!

Really excellent food and friendly, helpful service. As a plus, also has Benedictine! Well worth a visit if you're in Clitheroe and need a snack or full meal or a drink in great atmosphere.

I love this place and tend to bring relatives when they come and visit us. It's not brilliant if you're vegetarian — I only wish people were a little more inventive and not assume we only want to eat mushroom risotto — but the smoked salmon my mum had looked beautiful and my field mushroom was divine. The staff are nice, I come here often in spite of the limited veggie options.

We have been to this pub before for lunch. While it was good then, the last time the family and I went in we ordered drinks and sat at a table with a sofa and chairs, all was well. After going to order food we where told we could not eat at the table we had sat at due to waiters may spill food on us due to the low table (Always a story behind silly rules) we discussed the issue with the bar staff and manager. We suggested it would of been useful for a use of signs or for us to have be told when ordering our drinks. The staff where very patronising towards us and they where not willing to help in any way. The issue could of been solved by getting us a table to sit at (as it had got very busy during all of this) there response was "it is to busy so we can not help" so they fobbed us off and lost a good amount of money. Very poor effort.
