We got married at Hobbit Hill and absolutely had an amazing day, the staff were fantastic from our first meeting to our wedding weekend we had every confidence and they did not let us down. The venue was beautiful and the views absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t fault anything everything ran perfectly! Thankyou xxx.

We got married here at hobbit hill 11/09/21. It was absolutely perfect! I can’t thank Laura and Katie enough for taking care of everything! They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. The venue itself is absolutely stunning! But not only that you then walk out to incredible panoramic views! The venue also has sliding windows which was perfect for having it all open for day and night. The highlight for me though is the round wood. We was so lucky with the weather and was able to get married in the most beautiful woodland setting. I loved the lights and the log benches. It’s so natural and just the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding. There is also a beautiful swing which we decorated with ivy. It was amazing to have pictures taken on it. All our guest where amazed at the venue! I couldn’t recommend hobbit hill enough! It’s perfect! 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️🌿💕

I found this gorgeous place via a friend's dad who knew my love for Tolkien. Fast forward through covid and our wedding festival weekend arrived. The team at Hobbit Hill, especially Katie on the day, were nothing short of incredible. Our 2 day Indian / British / Middle Earth inspired wedding was only made possible by the fabulous Hobbit Hill team. Special requests, flash mobs and all the surprises — they took it all in their strides. A massive thank you for everything! ❤️❤️

We celebrated our wedding at Hobbit Hill this weekend. It was an incredible day with incredible staff. Woodland ceremony, rented tipis for guests, absolutely beautiful barn and gorgeous views. We couldn't have asked for anything else. The support from staff on the day with organisation and service was incredible. Thank you so so much for making our day so special. Having just celebrated our wedding at Hobbit Hill, we couldn’t recommend it enough. From the beautiful barn to the loveliest staff and the spectacular rural views, it literally went above and beyond for our special day. We’d also like to include a special mention to Laura who was exceptional throughout and made our experience at Hobbit Hill truly outstanding. In addition we were fortunate to enjoy a two night stay with our closest family, utilising the onsite accommodation which had everything we needed and allowed us to create some wonderful memories together. If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Lancashire, this is without a doubt the place to choose!

Myself and my children (aged 6 and 10) have just got back from a two nights stay at Hobbit Hill, and we honestly LOVED IT! Beautiful location with amazing views. Lots of space for the children to play outside. Great amenities in the rooms (kettle, microwave, toaster, cutlery and plates etc).
Spotless shower and toilet facilities. We went exploring in the forrest, played hide & seek and did lots of walking. We walked about a mile down the road to the River Hodder. The kids loved seeing the old brick bridge. We’ve had a lovely few days, and will definitely be back in the future.

Excellent break away kids loved the woods and the nerf war in there.

As someone who isn’t a lover of camping, I wasn’t sure what to expect but Hobbit Hill exceeded all my expectations.
It was nothing at all like camping. It was warm and toasty even though it was cold outside. So cosy and we had everything we needed. All of the bathroom and shower facilities were clean and well stocked.
It was lovely and quiet, the views were absolutely beautiful but we weren’t too far away from anywhere.
Definitely would recommend it you’re looking for a little escape.

Had a fantastic bank holiday weekend here with extended family. We had 3 cabins and 3 tents on site. Cabins were warm, spotless and well equipped. Ground was well maintained and plenty of space with a fantastic view. The toilets were warm and clean with plenty of loo roll. The only improvements I would suggest are another shower and washing up sink would be good.

Great place to come to get back to nature in relative comfort. Good for families to spend time relaxing and having fun barbecuing. Cabins clean, beds comfortable. Toilets clean and well maintained. One good electric shower. Has a bouncy floating tent and kids play area. Good open space and lovely views. Love it. Will definitely come again.
