Reviews of Poacher's Barn
We went on Christmas Day. We were very grateful that the staff could accommodate 9 of us so late as everywhere else booked up earlier. We really enjoyed ourselves. You could tell the staff were absolutely run off their feet and ultimately they gave up their own Christmas Day to serve to us. The starters were fabulous as was Christmas lunch itself with generous helpings of pigs in blankets. Dessert finished us off nicely and the two bottles of prosecco given to our table were gratefully received. The waiting staff and owners couldn't be more helpful when we asked for extra cutlery and gravy. We'll definitely come again. Thank you so much for what you did for us on what was obviously a very busy day. Hopefully you'll all manage to get some rest soon.
Food now back on the menu, had an amazing burger, friendly staff and atmosphere was lovely, would come again and 100% recommend.

Went for lunch today! Under new management and the menu has been relaunched! It was amazing, nacho starter for two, mixed grill was cooked perfectly. Followed by deserts of good size and excellent flavours! A really good experience, friendly staff, great beer and the food was excellent! They have a good chef there! Thank you!
