Just stayed here for 5 days while on holiday from the Isle of Man. It was so beautiful and had such a wonderful stay. It was our first stay and we will be back. We stayed in Lodge 1 with our 2 teenage girls and it was perfect. The weather has been great for the full 5 days. We had a couple of days out and a couple just at the lodge. It has everything you need and two very comfortable bedrooms. The best thing about it though is the double doors that open onto the decking that showcase the most amazing view. To see the train go past each 15 mins or so is great and although you hear it, it doesn’t ruin the stay. The hot tub is an added bonus and was great to be able to use. We parked in Cononley just down the road and got the train into Skipton which was great and far easier than finding a park in town so I would recommend this. We will definitely be back.

Brilliant place to stay and relax recommend 100%

We’ve just come back from a lovely three day stay in the couples cottage. Absolutely loved the Hot Tub and views were amazing. And loved the sheep right outside to 😊😊. Would highly recommend The Bay Horse Pub for a roast it was delicious. We would definitely come again.

Our 2nd visit and will definately be having a 3rd. The rooms are clean and a good size, breakfast was lovely with good quality ingredients and the views are stunning.

Just enjoyed a lovely weekend here. What a lovely place! Clean, cosy and warm. Great for a relaxing weekend with fantastic views out of our window. The breakfast was amazing and the staff are so friendly and accomodating. Room was cleaned daily and items replenished. Definitely will be returning!

We have just returned home after staying in the log cabins for the past week. The cabins are just lovely, well laid out, luxurious and have lots of home comforts including a washing machine and dishwasher. The hot tub is amazing! Located 10 mins drive from Skipton and has a local pub a mile away which serves a delicious Sunday roast. Will definitely return. Thanks for a fabulous, relaxing week away ☺️

We have just returned from a lovely night stay and had to leave a review. Thank you for a lovely stay. The location, our room and the beautiful views were just needed to start the new year. Topped off with a lovely brekkie. We cant wait to return.

Uninviting welcome by who ever shoved us in this disgusting room, which apparently is cleaned by their best cleaner.
Did have the shower cleaned but after more thought and closer look we decided to leave.
So disappointed that after a full day out exploring I had to drive 80mins back home only to drive back again tomorrow for rebooked activities.
Save your money and don’t stay here unless your standards are ok with this.

Loved the relaxed feeling we got from the moment we arrived. Rooms were clean with a well stocked refreshments tray, and homemade treats daily. Ensuite spotless, the shower was powerful and hot, and soft fluffy white towels. Breakfast was plentiful which kept us going for most of the day. And the views were breathtaking even on the gloomy day. Definitely recommend a visit, and another if you get the chance.

We had a wonderful weekend at the log cabin. Everything was spotless and designed perfectly. Everything you need for a relaxing break is provided. We will definitely be back 👍👍

What a beautiful location, gorgeous accommodation and friendly hosts. We will be back to spend more time here (if we can get in! ) Couldn't recommend them highly enough. So peaceful, equipped with everything you'd need and tastefully decorated. Couldn't have asked for more. The hot tub and the views are perfect, too!

Had the most amazing time staying in the log cabin. Hot tub looking over the moors was fantastic especially with the snow on the hills. The cabin was well equipped with all mod cons and the hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble if you needed anything. Will definitely be coming back thank you.

A lovely place to stay with a homely, family feel to it. The room was lovely, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and WHAT A VIEW!

Just spent 5 days in the lodge which was amazing. Very modern, well equipped and very spacious. Lovely hot tub and the most amazing views.

Had the pleasure of stopping in the lodge last week 21.09.20, just what was needed so relaxing, the spec of every in the lodge was high, fabulous hot tub, great views, our little girl was in love with all 'her' 4 sheep, all the chickens and wildlife. we can only say thank you and see you again very soon.

We have just spent a lovely night there, breakfast was excellent, very pleasant staff, will definitely be going back there.

Just come back from a wonderful stay at Throstle Nest’s Lodge. The lodge is fantastic with a added bonus of a hot tub to unwind after a long day.
We did lots of walks through Skipton woods and Swinsty Reservoir. The Reservoir was superb and a really lovely walk out. Would highly recommend the Lodge it has everything you need for an excellent relaxing stay. The weather for us wasn’t the best but this didn’t make the stay at less fun and we had a lovely few days relaxing as a family.

Absolutely stunning views from the property, the annexe where we stayed was huge, comfortable and a modern design. Margaret, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and all fresh ingredients.
Already thinking of booking again soon. Thank you for a wonderful weekend stay.

I just stayed for two nights at Throstle Nest Farm and could not recommend it more highly. Margaret and her family have created a welcoming, peaceful and stunningly beautiful retreat. From the views of the moors to the stacked stone walls and the amazing natural stream the setting is breathtaking. The ambiance, food and service is just as amazing. When I checked in I found a fresh butterfly cake in my room followed by a most delicious slice of chocolate cake the second day. I would say it feels like home, but it’s better! If you are visiting Yorkshire, book a room at Throstle Nest Farm. You will be so glad you did.

We have just got back from a lovely relaxing weekend at the Throstle nest farm, and I must say what a lovely idyllic place for a quiet get away, set in some amazing views. The family who run and live here at this beautiful B&B, I have to say are just great. Nothing was too much, very helpful, and breakfast was just as I thought amazing. Plenty of choice, fresh fruit salad laid out each morning with yogurt, choice of cereal, juices, plenty of tea or coffee. The hosts were just fab. We stayed in the Annex set just across the car park, and have to say it was perfect. So cosy, warm, fresh cakes each morning, with the stream trickling along side, decking looking across the beautiful views. We could of easily stayed more then 2 nights and will definitely be back hopefully in the summer months. You have a beautiful home/farm and a lovely family. Hope to see you again soon,

In a lovely setting and beautiful scenery. The hosts are amazing. Breakfast brilliant. Rooms and en-suite very clean and spacious. Can’t find any fault at all.

The Throstle Nest is beautifully done, with lovely rooms and fantastic service. Lots of really lovely touches to the rooms. Breakfast is a real highlight. An excellent base to see The Dales!

Really nice surrounding beautiful views. Very friendly and such a warm welcome as soon as you arrive. Is situated close to Skipton town with only a 10 minute drive and plenty of places to see and things to do in the area. Very clean tidy room. Shower is powerful. Bed is very comfy and fresh cake provided in the room. Parking right outside the B&B front door so you don’t have to take your luggage far at all. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. A choice of full English. Cereal. Fresh fruit and staff were brilliant with the service. I would really recommend staying here. We will definitely be staying again.

The breakfast is second to none, it's highly rated, the rooms are spotless, bed are so comfy you will not want to get up, service is excellent.

What a place to stay. Stunning location with great views. Beautiful clean rooms and a lovely comfortable lounge. Drinks were there for you both in the lounge and in your own room and with lovely home baked cakes to enjoy too. Bliss. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed and the modern bathroom had a good powerful walk in shower. After a good night's sleep you were greeted with a fabulous full English breakfast with everything fresh cooked to order. All the food was quality, even including their own free range eggs from their own hens. Paula, the lovely host was always there to ensure your stay was all it could be. Many thanks Paula.

Welcoming, lovely warm clean rooms, great views with a lovely breakfast.

We've just got back from staying 2 nights here in the family room and I can safely say that its one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The room was plenty big enough for the 4 of us (myself, my husband & our kids, aged 6 & 7), with a TV, DVD player, plenty of tea, coffee & hot chocolate, even bottled water & some delicious homemade cakes. The en suite had a decent sized power shower, plenty of towels & dispenser-bottle toiletries. The breakfast is served between 8-9:30 …and was delicious & very filling, with a lovely choice of cereals, fruit salad & yogurt, then a full English & toast. There's a beautiful open fire in the lounge/dining area with comfortable sofas, & you can help yourself to tea or coffee whenever you like. To sum up, this is a wonderful little family run b&b, kid friendly, with an open & relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a break & we'd love to come again in the future.

Beautiful property with stunning views. Very attractive comfortable rooms. The owners very helpful, couldnt do enough for you, a very tasty breakfast and would definately recommend the afternoon tea. We had a lovely stay and would like to stay again in the summer to take advantage of the garden. Thankyou for making my mums birthday treat so special.

Cannot fault this place! Stayed here for two nights and could've happily extended it for a week. The location is breathtakingly beautiful with stunning views at every angle, and the B n B itself is gorgeous — a dream property! We stayed as a family of two adults and two children (aged 4 and 7) in Room 5 which was more than adequate to accommodate us all. The breakfasts were divine; full English, fresh fruit and yoghurt, choice of cereals, juices, tea and coffee. Welcome touches in the rooms are bottled water, tea and coffee facilities, and fresh homemade cakes and baked treats left daily. A warm welcome is extended by the family owners who somehow manage to strike the ideal balance between welcoming you into their home and lifestyle whilst maintaining a level of privacy to allow you to enjoy time together — our children particularly enjoyed meeting the owners grandchildren and being invited to meet their chickens! Little touches which bettered an already perfect stay. Perfectly situated on the outskirts of Skipton, you are only a few minutes away by car to the town centre and ideally based for a number of local attractions such as Skipton Castle, Bolton Abbey and Malham Cove. Many thanks for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying for two nights at Throstle Nest Farm. It is located in a beautiful, quiet spot, just three miles outside of Skipton. As its name would suggest, this establishment was once a farm and has been delightfully converted, to a very high standard indeed. The accommodation was very tastefully decorated and more importantly, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Mine hosts were very pleasant and attentive, without being obtrusive. There was a very good breakfast menu, which was very nicely cooked and served. We will not hesitate to repeat our stay, or recommend Throstle Nest to our friends. Many thanks to Paula and Margaret. We had the most beautiful weekend stay here for my partners birthday. The rooms are exquisite and spotless. The food was delicious and all freshly cooked with high quality ingredients. The view from our room was breath taking, and the walks were memorable (especially the one we mistakenly did in the pitch black as we left our torch in the car! Haha) But what makes this place perfect are the people who make it so awesome! Thankyou to your family for such a warm welcome. Also we highly recommend le bistro de amis, 2 mile from the farm, best meal we have ever had.

Stayed here during the 2014 Tour De France. Lovely B&B in lovely setting. Great rooms and very friendly owners, well worth a stay, outstanding!

If there's ever a place to stay, it has to be here 110%! Can't fault it one bit and had a really smashing time there. We NEEDED a break from all the troubles we'd been having with getting our house sorted & problems at work and got married on my birthday & I chose this for our getaway. This was the best choice made! Very reasonable & very friendly too! Forget hotels, too boring. Get along to Throstle Nest Farm B&B, you won't regret it, I can assure you.
