Decent rooms, modern bathroom, remote location. You can park right outside your room. I was able to check in when I arrived at 10am, which was brilliant. Breakfast was good. Not a five star hotel but good value.

On arrival all staff were very happy and friendly, especially Anthony and Micheal, that was what I needed after a 5 hour drive. My room was amazing, and much more than expected as the room has everything I need. Even down to the comfortable chair and desk, which enabled me to work comfortable. 5 * cleanliness, comfy beds, mirrors by plug sockets, a shower that I would love in my house, parking out side my door. I could go on & on. Not to mention the food. The food was amazing I wish I could add pictures to the review, because hand off the the chef, and Anthony`s attentiveness is second to none as nothing is to much trouble. No words as it was stunning. I highly recommend staying hear and I can’t wait to come back thank you all 1st class x.

What a lovely place! We couldn't fault it at all. SO clean, everything we needed and very attentive staff. Just like home from home, a really comfy bed and lovely decor. The bar and restaurant area were inviting and nothing was any trouble. We will stay here again without a doubt. Thank you so much. Dawn and Paul.

Staff were amazing, motel was clean, beds comfy, curtains blocked out the light, shower was good with complimentary soaps and we really enjoyed our stay, I wasn't a fan on the cooked breakfast but nothing wrong with it. The young man behind the reception on 29th July was amazing at helping us find a taxi to get our car back seeing as though Michael who emailed us did not tell us we needed to pre book! We will definitely stay again and we highly recommend!

Two-night stay — this is a rural motel so don't expect 3* plus professionalism all the time but without doubt you'll find the staff accommodating and friendly, making your stay comfortable and welcoming. E. G Happened to stay during England vs Belgium World Cup match and they sportingly put out a free dish of chips for each table of bar guests. The menu was not wide but the breakfasts and the two evening meals were spot on. The rooms bordered the car park so you could park outside your room for easy luggage transfer. Some rooms backed onto the A1079 but as the en suite was that side, it cushioned the road noise to non-intrusive. All in all, a comfortable stay that I would be happy to repeat.

Terrible experience! Drove an hour to get here last Sat to be told that they stop serving at 4pm. So, this week made sure I arrived at 15:40 only to be told they’d turned the ovens off. Won’t be trying again! My 8 year old nephew was gutted.

Unpretentious but good value. The rooms are well-fitted out and are very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We also ate here. The breakfast was good, the evening meal was ok. We would certainly stay here again.

Rooms were clean warm spacious. Shower was huge. Food was good. Staff very friendly. Very good value for money. Recommended stop if you are visiting York. As good if not better than travelodge and breakfast included. Brillant.

Family room had a double and a single bed and was fairly spacious and in good decorative order. Noise from main road was OK provided you kept the bathroom door closed, as bathroom faced the road. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Price was very good.

Literally dropped on the Motel on way back from York. Friendly and welcoming Staff. Nothing too much trouble. Would recommend. Great Food and drink, was very welcome after a long day on our feet.

Good location, cheaper than Travelodge, plus breakfast included. Some decor could do with a refresh, but pleased with stay.

Rooms Very clean and spacious location good for us as we were going to a wedding nearby breakfast was very good.

The rooms were a high standard, fantastic bathroom, nice relaxing room to sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was well priced with the breakfast included in the price. Would highly recommend to anybody needing somewhere to stay for events in and around the Pocklington area.

I took my 81 year old mother to stay at the Yorkway to visit her family in the area this was a very pleasant stay the staff and manager Michael were all very friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. I can defiantly say we would have no hesitation to staying there again also the food was beautiful freshly cooked and very enjoyable my Mother had a lovely experience and we cannot thank them enough Dawn and Shirley.

Pleasant staff. Well equipped room. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast and price couldn't be beaten. The mattress was cheap however and lacked comfort. Overall, for a cost effective stay, it was very good.

If you need to stay in Pocklington, you cat go wrong if you pick the Yorkway. Comfortable rooms and a brilliant breakfast, all at a good price.

Fantastic staff, very friendly. Rooms clean, well done out and a lot quieter than you'd expect for its proximity to the main road. Inclusive breakfast also top notch with plenty of choices, would definitely recommend!
