Lovely carvery today although I don't think it's OK to be automatically charged for a large meal without been asked! Glad I checked my recipet. Also when I questioned the member of staff I was made to feel like I was in the wrong for questioning it.

Having a look at the prices you charge for a buffet. We've just paid £870 for a buffet for 60 and it was a total rip off. At the most it would have cost £100 and that's been generous.

Spent a lovely afternoon here celebrating my wife's 40th Birthday. The team went out of their way to make it a special meal and the food and service were just amazing! Special thanks to all involved.

Thank you so much Country Park for letting us host our baby shower here. From the first enquiry I made until I walked out the door after the shower the service I received was faultless. Katie is great at her job and made sure everything I requested was sorted for me. The staff on the day again faultless and couldn't do enough for us. Everyone had a great time. I would go here ever again. The owner has no idea of customer satisfaction he is ignorant and no customer ser ice skills stay away if you want a good night.

Had a lovely meal today with friends and the service was outstanding. The girl working (apologies didn’t get her name but she deserves recognition) took our orders, served our drinks, meals, more drinks and coffees. She cleared the table quickly after finishing our meals and checked we enjoyed our meal before and after. She ensured every need was met and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend the food and service and will definitely be returning.

The lodges are no longer owned by the country park inn. If a wedding package is purchased surely the rooms should be for wedding guests but all rooms are booked out and guests are having to stay at the Premier Inn down the road. Disgusting.

Sunday roast poor, tasteless Yorkshire pudding, dry beef, undercooked roast potato’s, peas over cooked, no taste although the carrots were very good and the staff were very helpful.

Great function room. Had a fabulous party for sons 40th birthday on 6th November. Nothing to much trouble for the staff. All very helpful. Buffet was amazing. Lots to eat.

Had a problem with my meal tonight, but I can't fault the response from the staff, they couldn't do enough for me and lets face it we all make mistakes. Great spot on the bank of the Humber, reasonably priced and a nice atmosphere. Thankyou 😀

Had a beautiful Sunday dinner today. Very tasty. 100% recommend.

Lovely interior environment. Clean and pleasant decor. Good food and service. Just a shame the outdoor seating area is a bit shabby. Amazing views but missing a trick by having old worn tables and paving. Could be stunning.

For many years a party of my friends and I have celebrated the end of our Jewish New Year service with a meal at the Country Park Inn. The food is first class and the service also. Highly recommended.

Lovely location and well presented but food comes pre packaged and is stored in fridges. We ordered chicken from here and the food came at room temperature even though it should have been hot and some was cold as though it had been in the fridge and not reheated properly. This causes a high risk of food poisoning therefore I do not recommend food from here as it is not fresh and could put you at risk of illness. A refund was provided after some hassle.

Tasty lunchtime food, quick service, friendly staff and a great location right on the banks of the river Humber almost in the shadow of the famous Humber bridge. Do what I did and watch the river go by. Pleased to see lots of families being well looked after.

I like this place. Food is always pretty decent and the location is lovely The massive let down for me is the bar. Mainly the glasses they use. Cheap wine glasses and not enough gin blooms. It doesn't match the restaurant and I think at the moment, when cocktails gin etc are so on trend, they need to seriously up their game. Also although the bar was busy yesterday the girl seemed happy enough to chat away, not really paying any attention to customer service at all. The general manager (French guy I think) and floor staff (Paris) are all lovely though… even on a busy stressful day.

We attended the most enjoyable family wedding here. Great space with views of the Humber Bridge and river. Great staff. Just overall a very good experience. Food was excellent! Can highly recommend.

We had our wedding there and I would definitely recommend it, they made our day so perfect, just couldn’t do enough for us, each and every member of staff bent over backwards for us, the food was amazing, all our guests are still talking about it, and that’s what you want at your wedding. Good location overlooking the Humber. Friendly greeting on arrival. Nice food but portion varied considerably in size. Reasonably priced.

Me and my partner had taken a walk around Country Park itself and once finished, decided on going for a drink in Country Park Inn. We were glad we did. It was rather busy but the weather was scorching on the day so it's to be expected. There was still plenty of seating considering and the staff were more than welcoming. Would definitely go again.

I love the Country Park Inn. It's lovely place to relax with whole range of tasty food and coffee. Its always clean, staff are always welcoming and the views of the bridge from the outside seating area are stunning.

Situated alongside the river with a spectacular view of the Humber Bridge, we regularly enjoy evening meals and Drinks here. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the decor contemporary and simple yet cosy and welcoming. The food is 1st class and restaurant standard and very reasonably priced. Would recommend.

This place is very good. For the money it is Superb. Rooms feel like new (they must only be a few months old at most) and are appointed to a very contemporary and high standard. With the exception of a slightly sticky table and some annoying canned music the restaurant is also very good. The staff are especially good here and the very well cooked full english over looking the Humber Bridge and estuary set me up well for the day. For 80 quid you can't ask for any more really :)

We recently visited the country park inn for Sunday lunch. The lunch was very good and is much improved on a few years ago. We really enjoyed it.

Called in for coffee with a colleague. Fantastic location with an amazing view. Excellent service (Stephen I believe). Will be returning soon.

Really lovely place, people, atmosphere and food. The views are absolutly stunning especially at sunset. I would highly recommended.

Only stopped because we saw it from the Humber bridge and wanted to see the sunset. What a good find, perfect for a tipple, ample parking too. We didn't eat but food looked good.

Location don't get much better and these guys deliver on the food. Prices slightly higher than other pubs but for good reason. Looking forward to summer and sitting outside with a beer and admiring the magnificence of the one and only Humber Bridge.

I went here for a meal to celebrate my niece's dedication. We had a carvery which was well cooked and there was a good range of accompanying vegetables. The staff were very helpful and even cut the cake up for my sister in law. I gave it four stars because when I asked if there was somewhere I could feed my baby (I breastfeed so didn't want to sit in a busy and loud dining area as my son gets distracted) the staff were very understanding and tried to find me somewhere private and comfortable but the best they could do was a cloak room next to a toilet. So in my opinion there has the potential to be better breastfeeding facities. If I wasn't breastfeeding I would give it a 5.

Went for a wedding reception, the location is great on the edge of the river and the staff were very friendly. Can't speak for the quality of the rooms but it was well decorated and the bar was very reasonable for hotel prices. Given the event I may be biased but still, it was a wonderful night.

We went straight from work for some food and to discuss the up and coming Wedding taking place at this venue. There were four people and one baby, ten months old. The place was very quiet and the staff were very friendly. The service was excellent but the food was medioca, nothing exciting just your normal pub grub.

Quite a popular choice especially in the summer months. Lots of families make use of it. Free parking food available and good for walkers. It you've got the time have a walk around 'Little Switzerland' if you like wooded walks. Plenty of pick nick spots but not ide for wheelchair users.

Had a brilliant Xmas day dinner. Food was great and Francois was a great host he made the day for us all. Tianna was particularly taken by the humour and great fun. We will most certainly be back again. Helen, Steve, tianna, Natalie, Nathan and lee.

For a Xmas party. Three course dinner and entertainment. Dinner was fine, nothing remarkable but served hot and efficiently for number of guests. Entertainment was fun and the room seemed to really enjoy it. Overall a positive evening.

The best thing about this place is the views. There's nothing better than sitting outside on a sunny evening looking over the Humber with a nice cold beer. Having said that, the beer your drinking will cost a bit more than average, as prices are a bit steep.

Very nice place decor is amazing and upto date and great indoor and out seating. Disabled access is good as well did not rat there only a few drinks. Bar staff are amazing treat ever customer with outstanding manors such a true credit to the company the owners should be extremely proud if there staff. Shame I can't give more then 5 stars.

Perfect place to relax… Food is excellent and they have good range of drinks. Outdoor sitting is set perfectly to enjoy long summer days… parking is adequate.

Visited today with my 3 yr old and 3 week old baby. We only stopped off for some cake and a drink whilst on a walk. I haven't been here for such a long time — since the refurbishment. Today we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who went out of their way to help with my 3yr old and were so kind and helpful when I was feeding my baby. Thank you — the two young girls who were working today are an absolute credit to the business. (28.09.2017 at 11am-12.30pm ish).

Great setting with views of the river and Humber bridge. They do a lovely hot chocolate when you are out for a walk on a cool day.

Had a very pleasant afternoon, walking the dogs around the country park. Before going to the pub for a well deserved pint, before heading home for dinner. Friendly and welcoming set in wonderful surroundings, with the Humber Bridge, one of the civil engineering wonders of the world, as it's backdrop.

Fantastic food as always and brilliant friendly staff. The carvery is outstanding. Looking forward too our next visit.

Nice river front location next to a nature reserve (little switzerland). Modern large function room. Reasonably priced. Good parking.

Excellent meal with family. Sunday roast. Service was excellent very attentive. Reasonably priced cocktails. Starters were large. We did book. Certainly would go again. Worth the 45min drive. Well done to all staff on duty 4pm Sunday 27th.

Food was amazing and well priced for the quality, also very speedy service, only criticism would be that the portions were extremely varied throughout the different meals we had.

Food much improved since my last visit & am wondering if that's down to the new management? Fast, efficient service. Will definitely go there again now.

Initially my partner and I nipped in to The Country Park Inn for a quick pint before a walk around Little Switz. After enjoying a drink overlooking the humber and an ice cream from the van outside, we decided to return later for some light lunch. Both the food and the staff were lovely, and the location is beautiful (assuming you have the weather for it). We will definitely come back if we're in the area.

Very good food, friendly service and nice venue. Reasonable prices. The best veg lasagna I've had for a long time.

We were in a rush the night we came here and the service was very slow. Had we had more time we would have sent our warm meals back to be heated further. The offer that night included the dessert but until we were at the front of the queue ordering we didn't know we had to order it at the same time as the mains. So I didn't hold up the queue I had to decide for the both of us on the spot. Might try again some time as we love the setting but not in any hurry.

Service was great. Very professional, and friendly. Couldn't be better. Nice to see the garden out side has been revamped. Was really nice to sit outside under the trees. They've made the outside look really classy and welcoming!

The restaurant itself is clean and tidy, the decor was fitting and the location is great — right on the river bank, next to the Humber bridge. The service… Not too great! When the waitress came over to our table after we were seated, she said that we couldn't order any drinks or food with her, that we would have to go to the bar. Fair enough — when one of our party asked if she had a pen and paper, so that we might write it down ourselves… "No, you have to go to the bar. " Was her response — not in a very a polite way either. Well that isn't quite what was asked. Anyhow she insisted that there was no pen or paper. 14 people's food was quite a lot to remember for us to order, so the ladies of the group rifled through bags and an improvised list was made! The food was alright, not great — but far from bad, it didn't take too long either (it was reasonably busy too). Overall, if not for the rudeness in the waitress addressing the fact that it wasn't table service I would maybe have rated a 4.

Very disappointed in this location, arrived around 20.00pm after previously booking a single room only to be told it had been given away and they only had a double room at extra cost, paid for room despite booking. When settling in the room I was further disappointed, the window latch was broken and had a chain connected to it which allowed the window to be open all the time, this letter both the cold air coming off the Humber and the noise from the road way all night and to make matters worse there was a constant smell of sewage emanating from the on suite, I could not recommend this inn and lodge to stay at.

Great all I can say. Celebrating my partners birthday and it was busy and was going to leave when they opened up the restaurant area for us. Many thanks great day.

Popped in for lunch after a busy day shopping. Busy for a bank holiday Saturday but managed to get a table. Food came quickly and was delicious. Ordered a dessert and the gentleman said it could be a while as they are made fresh but still came quite quickly. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely location under the bridge and on the Foreshaw. Nicely decorated with a a light and airy feel. Lots of tables both inside and outside. Friendly service.
