Had Sunday lunch here for my sisters birthday it was delicious they surprised her with pudding and birthday candle.

Staff have a great sense of humour that made our night. My daughter said that it was the best pub she has ever been to. Delicious good value food. Fantastic service. Thank you :-)

Lovely location, and fantastic food. We love their breakfasts and Sunday roasts! Staff and service friendly and very helpful. The chef is amazing! Such a pretty pub, sunny garden, and the railway station is only a few minutes walk! Highly recommend!

Lovely location, nice staff, beautifully decorated for Christmas. But NO heating on and no fire going! So a little disappointed considering it’s still Christmas time 27/12/19

What a fantastic pub and wow the staff are great. Food was exceptional. Haven't been to this pub for a long time, and we were passing and thought we try it, so glad we did.

Looks perfect from outside, but disappoints. Only two staff on one of which was the chef who was doubling up as bar staff. Got my choice of dessert wrong twice in a row and coffee machine broken. Changed hands recently and seems like new management were unprepared. Food very expensive for what you get. Sea bass arrived in two minutes after ordering which suggest it's bought in not home made but charged £16.50 for it.

Lovely pub / accomodation. Recommended. Nice village location a short walk from Rowlands Castle station, on the village green. Tastefully furnished and decorated (recently I'd guess). Decent English breakfast (not huge but quite adequate).

A nice b&b and a pub. Clean rooms, good facilities. Great full English breakfast! Note that all guest rooms are facing the street so might be noisy if there are people drinking outside (but never until late).

Had a lovely Sunday roast here today. Service was very good and friendly. Prices not too bad (everywhere could be cheaper! ) And food was home cooked and delisious. Would certainly recommend.

Very good b&b with good room (s) and a quality restaurant. Pub bar serves very good beers. Good off road parking, easily accessible location north of Portsmouth. REALLY glad I found this place. Village shop 100m away across the village green and a below-average garage close by.

Visited the robin hood for a birthday meal and it was fantastic, amazing food and lovely atmosphere.

We popped in after walking the dogs at nearby Stanstead House. Staff were friendly and welcoming, letting us know where we could sit with the dogs. Service was prompt and polite and the desserts were delicious! Would recommend for a Sunday afternoon dessert & coffee.

Went here to see the bands/singers play in the 'open mike' night. Predictably crowded but still served fairly quickly with our drinks. A good night and hope to be back for more.

We have been frequent customers at the Robin Hood restaurant for a few months now and it has been quite a pleasurable experience to dine there. Even though the prices are quite high, the portions are enough to fill you up and give you an excellent meal. The menu changes quite frequently, however, so you probably won't find the same meal twice in a row to eat. The service is okay — the waiters are fast but not that sociable or seemingly willing to interact, and sometimes the focus is more on the bar customers than the customers of the restaurant. Once we came in before the serving times and we sat there quite oblivious, not knowing this as the lady at the bar completely ignored us and carried on talking to a customer who wanted a drink. However, the food is lovely and this place is great for a romantic meal (when there are not lots of people crowded round the bar) and is also a good place for a special occasion. The interior is nice and classic, with classic oak tables and comfy chairs, but the tables are very sticky due to a new cleaning treatment that makes them almost unpleasant to sit at.

The service is my only complaint, it was slow and ineffective, workers were standing around doing nothing. It let everything else down.

Nice looking pub, but the worst customer service I have ever encounted. We decided to pop in for a drink and some food with friends that are visiting from the states. We asked one of the servers where we could sit where ever we liked. I went to the bar and ordered some drinks to get started, what seemed like the manager served me who did not say hello and was extremely unpleasant. My friend waited at the bar to order for a few minutes without anyone saying a word. While this was going on the manager approached our wives and children and rudely said are you eating. And proceded to kick them off of a table for another group of people in a manor I have never heard or seen in a service industry. We left and will never go back again. It was obvious she did not want us in her pub because we had children and were not wearing button up shirts. I have never been so offended in my life.

We found the food, décor and service to be of very high standard, and will definitely be returning soon.

Took my elderly mother there for lunch on Sunday 25 August 2013. We both decided to have the roast beef (although prices for the roast not printed on the menu) Beef was appalling and inedible — waitress offered us some more beef but by that time we were put off our meal. They still charged us the full price of £26.00 for the two meals. I will not be returning.
