Lovely room nice and clean helpful staff and the meal was lovely too.

Only stayed one night in room 104, room was nice and clean but bed needs a new mattress as where mainly only one persons stays the mattress had a trench,
Breakfast was beautiful.

Booked a disabled room for my wife in late 2018 when we got their they gave the room to someone else and offered us another room that wasn't a disabled room which wasn't no good but we had to have it as we travled over 200 miles and very tired they didn't even apologise to us all they said was they would get the manager to email me but didn't I rang them 3 times and always when they put me thru to manager they put the phone down so we will never go back here again they could do with new staff aswell.

Love it there. Staff always friendly and helpful. Rooms in the annexe the best.

Me my friend and her daughter stayed in room 208 for three nights. When we arrived the room was nice and presentable. We enjoyed our stay but I would like to put forward the following suggestions. We really felt that the room should have had a small fridge. This would have been very handy for keeping drinks cold. I am diabetic and need to drink water quite often and I like it cold. Also because we had takeaway dinner we wanted to keep the leftovers chilled but because there was no fridge we had to throw away the food. I did ask reception about why there is no fridge in the room and she replied premier inn do not offer that facility. Perhaps my suggestion could be considered. The other strange thing was that there was no phone in the room to call reception. I believe that most hotels have this facility. We had to go out of the room to call reception and no-one answered. My friend then went over to the reception to ask for some cold water but was asked to get it herself from the pub. This in my opinion is not very good service and it would have been nice if premier inn had some form of room service to bring us the water. Breakfast was good however we felt sorry for the guy serving as he was on his own and had to attend to do many people. It would have been nice if he had some help. I did mention to him that one of the toasters was not working and he said he couldn't really do anything about it. I don't necessarily blame him for this as he was without any form of assistance.

Very nice. As far a Premier inn' s go it did everything I expected. Clean, friendly staff all at a good price.

Nice location, however unable to book one night over the weekend had to book 2. Also breakfast on the first morning was poor, with no bowls, coffee cups, brown bread, or t-spoons. On the second day on returning from our day out we found that the tea cups in our room hadn't been replaced after having tea in the morning, meaning we had to wash our stained cups in the bathroom sink with no detergent, also the used tea, coffee and milk hadn't been replaced so we ran out.

Stayed in the new extension and it was first class. Have stayed in original part and it's good. Great budget hotel.

Very friendly staff and comfortable beds with extra pillows supplied in the room.

Lovely big room, breakfast good but staff don't keep the food topped up, had to keep asking for bread, milk etc. Slow at taking the order for cooked breakfast sometimes finished cold before the order was even taken.

The room was nice enough and it was very affordable! The only downside was that we could hear everything from the room above! We got woken up at 5am because the people in the room upstairs were walking around on creeky floorboards if they fixed this though then I would definitely come back.

The room was nice and clean but sleep was ruined due to being able to hear everything the people in the room we're doing at 5:30am. Seriously need to fix the creaky floorboards and put some soundproofing in…

Lovely staff and buildings but poor restaurant next door and beds are hard.

Check in was great. Room was fine, until a random van sat outside my room with the engine running. At 11.45 I complained to staff, who to be fair, did go and have a word. But they were still there the following morning. Management couldn’t move them on apparently!
Breakfast was fine. But food and drink in the attached pub was very poor. Food was one of the worst meals I have had and I sent a beer back 3 times! Pub quiz on a Monday did help to diffuse my frustration.

Bed uncomfortable. Pilows to soft restaurant poor very lon service fordinner had to find on elsewhere breakfast longer wait. However staff veryhelpful and friendly.

Not liking the state of the menu cards, very mucky, shame as the food was o. K and clean surroundings.

Rooms are cleaned to a very good standard and the reception staff are friendly and helpful. Again, Premier Inn doing what they do well.

Stayed the night for a wedding and everything was fine. Room a bit cramped with a cot in there but other than that a nice stay.

The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. There were poor reviews of the Roundhouse restaurant which is attached but we found dinner to be very nice with good food and prompt pleasant service. The only negative was breakfast which was not up to the usual standard expected from a Premier Inn.

Hotel was ok, but restaurant awful 2hr wait for food in the eve, when arrived it was all overcooked items also unavailable, breakfast not much better paid 8.99 for inedible food, toast machine not working, tinfoil found in the scrambled egg then tills not working not be visiting this premier inn again.

Comfortable bed, cosy room and a good nights sleep what more could you want.

Only stayed for one night but it was lovely, the room was spotless the staff were so friendly, everything we could have wished for. We asked for more coffe and milk not a problem were given extra straight away. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Will definately be coming again.

Hotel was very nice as is the standard with Premier Inn, only disappointment was the restraunt could have cleaner, food was good though.

Last place in the world I would want to stay there was publc hair in the bed and in the bath when we got to the room on arrival and the bath mat was wet. So the bed and bath mat had not being changed from the last person who stayed in the room when we told reception they said someone would change it all while we was out when we got back the sheet had been changed so had the bath mat but the bed had not been made I am still waiting for a refund nearly four weeks after we stayed there would not stay in any of there hotels again.

The usual good standard of room you expect from a premier inn.

You always know what to expect with a Premier Inn. Restaurants is separate — next door. Had come out to go back in but not really a big deal.

The hotel and staff are great However… The pub next door completely let's it down although the staff are very friendly they completely lack in basics, waiting up to an hour half for food and drinks everyday and night they don't ever remember to clear tables or a second order of drinks etc it's a shame and clearly down to poor management-either increase the training to a better standard or employe more staff! It's not actually fair on existen staff… Saying all this the food when it eventually turns up is ok reasonable and the breakfast is good quality but that's probably due to the fact you serve yourself for half of it on the buffet.

Quite and comfortable, however stay clear of the fish & chips at the adjoining restaurant.

Friendly staff, well kept and decent location. The gentleman on the desk, Ashley, was both helpful and good humoured. A pleasant experience checking in and he made us feel welcome and valued.

Had to walk across & then to the left of the main building to the annex block in the rain … no lift … room fine everything you expect … had pre booked dinner & breakfast… when we went to the restaurant at 8-30pm was met with have you booked… nothing on the booking said you had to! … Breakfast was buffet only for continental you had to order your cooked breakfast & your tea & coffee … only one member of staff on duty & he was not the most helpful… first time I've been disappointed with a Premier Inn.

My first experience of a Premier Inn and it was a pleasant one. The room was clear and bright, one nice feature was I could connect my media devices to the TV via a different array of connection fitted into the wall by the desk. There were only two slight niggles, the first was that the people in the room above made the light fitting rattle as they bounded across their room. The second being the people in the car park at about 11pm fighting and shouting obscenities at the top of their voice.

For what we wanted great location, clean & tidy rooms and happy friendly staff.

Very frendly staff cannot do enough for you. Book early as rooms are nearly always fully booked. (my experience only).
