Normally a pleasant stay there always… Doors are starting to not close all the way. Not sure if that is due to the unseasonably warm weather. Food was great. Compliments to the chef!

Great stay. Cold beer, huge room. Hot shower. Great breakfast. Easy transfer to both north and south terminal. Would stay again. Business stop but suitable for families.

Very convenient car parking system which worked very well. Leave the car and keys at the hotel and pick them up when you return. 10 minute walk to the south Terminal well signposted. Pleasant staff and comfortable room. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as the deal we had didn't include it, but with an early flight we eat at the airport. We did have a meal In the restaurant in the evening which, while a little expensive, was OK with good service. We would happily use this hotel again.

Hotel is fine. Close to the airport, and well sound proofed. However, do yourself a favour and avoid the “bar”food. I ordered a club sandwich and what arrived was a mountain of mayonnaise on bread. There was egg… swimming in mayonnaise, and on the second slice… chicken swimming in mayonnaise. It was served with a green salad also covered in mayonnaise. The sandwich was inedible and I would have brought it ti managements attention, however, the lady working the bar had disappeared and the front desk was unmanned. Other than the bar food the hotel is a solid 3 stars.

Well located walking distance from the terminal, outdoor and indoor terrace, sleeps well, access to buses and taxis easily. /Radio TV Service a little light. Staff very little active and volunteer to help you.

Very convenient for Gatwick airport. Usual large chain hotel, very clean, reasonable choice for breakfast, large rooms with comfortable beds. As I said close to Gatwick South Terminal, so you can either walk there or use the shuttle bus for a charge. Wi-Fi available in lobby area or at a charge in the rooms, unless you are a Marriott member in which case it is free.

No phone signal in the rooms so have to go outside to get signal. ☹️ Bed large and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Very well placed for walk to Gatwick South.

Brilliant reception at this hotel arrived late due to Easy Jet delayed yet again. The duty manager couldn't have done enough to make my colleague and I comfortable, even insisting in pushing our luggage to our rooms taking them into room and placing on luggage rack. Even though the kitchen was closed a table was set for our McDonald takeaway and served us with wine even putting my colleagues rose in a wine chiller, so late at night this was customer service at it's very Marriott best. Room was comfortable and as usual Marriott bed was so cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with many items both hot and cold to choose from I had my usual eggs sunny side up with bacon made crispy perfectly cooked I will go back to this hotel when I transit Gatwick again. Very impressed with this hotel.

Good location 5 minute walk to South terminal. Rooms are very nice and also clean. Good selection of food and drinks at the restaurant and bar. Unfortunately the fitness suite is a bit dated and could do with some new equipment. All in all a very good experience.

Rooms are comfortable and, important for an airport hotel, well sound proofed. Not the size or quality of a Courtyard in other countries but for South East England and near airport good price for what you get. Check in staff leave something to be desired with friendliness and efficiency or sometime their English. Restaurant staff were very good. Reasonable food, breakfast OK. Busy bar. Parking at the hotel also a positive. Easy to get to off the motorway. Be aware that the shuttle is a different private company, and watch what the drivers charge you and the change you get back.

The hotel is conveniently located five minutes walk from terminal south Gatwick airport. Good: rooms are very well insulated and there is no noise of the aircraft landing or taking off. Bad: the Wi-Fi and the breakfast are not included in the room fee.

Comfortable airport hotel within walking distance of the South Terminal (with hopper bus to both south and north). Decent bar, restaurant and fitness room.

I've been a Marriotts Rewards member for over 10 years now so I've had the opportunity to stay in a lot of their locations all over the world. My review is based upon a comparison between this location and other Courtyards. First impression sadly was of a hurried and curt staff not only at the front desk but other locations throughout the hotel as well. Everything, and I mean everything was an additional charge. From £3 per person to ride their shuttle 4 min from the airport, to paying for two extra tiny shampoos for our suite. Bottled water in my room was also extra, something usually free to rewards members. The breakfast was fair and appreciated and came with the basics you would expect at a Courtyard. The overall facility was clean and well maintained but overall is below the standards I am used to in other Courtyards.

Conveniently located and competitive. Booking direct with Marriott gives great offers to include Meet & Greet parking. As a 'transit' hotel it offers Value For Money. A refurb in the reception / public areas would not go amiss. Maybe it could be refurbished and changed to the Moxy brand. That would be good.

Enjoyed the parking experience more than the hotel… Found this deal through Money supermarket as it saved us having to face the unpredictable journey to Gatwick first thing on Monday morning. Check-in was uneventful, but we did have to change rooms to get a Kingsize bed as the room that was allocated to us had two Double beds. We were then allocated the disability room, which gave a lower more uncomfortable bed which didn't give us the best nights sleep. The full a wet room as a bathroom, made showering and getting dry in the morning prior to our departure a nightmare. On the plus side, I found the parking great, our car was returned to us in the condition we left it, with a very easy pickup from North terminal arrivals. Would I stay at the Marriott Gatwick again? Definitely NO. Would I use the Maple Manor Parking service again? YES As a start to a 2 week holiday this didn't meet my expectations. Overall not impressed with the Hotel experience at the Marriott Gatwick, but I can definitely recommend the Car Parking arrangements. Always check your room allocation, prior to arrival, to ensure you are getting what you expect. Worth paying the £16.95 for greeting upgrade, so you can collect your car from arrivals Car Park 5.

We recently stayed here on a deal from HolidayExtras. We paid something like £90 for an overnight stay and they will look after our car for the duration of our holiday in Europe. For that sort of money we weren't expecting a huge amount but were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a spacious room with a huge comfy bed. The food options were okay but expensive so we used the M&S Simply Food that was just over the road. Couldn't really have asked for much more, the hotel was great value and service was excellent. We also got free Wi-Fi by signing up as rewards members (just give an email address) — saves you paying any fees.

5 min walk from the south terminal at Gatwick, good meeting rooms and friendly staff. Haven't stayed there overnight before but it looks like a good place to sleep before a flight. Would happily use it again for a business meeting.

Convenient to walk to airport. Food is good. Rooms are a good size and it's very well soundproofed — no aircraft noise. Also offers meet and greet parking.

Really great rooms, amazing bathroom and really good service all around! The room service was impeccable and came within 20 minutes! Really no issues to speak of!

Great place to stay if you are using Garwick Airport. Rooms very good, food and bar good staff excellent and helpful.

Walking distance from Gatwick South Terminal with path well marked out. Hotel is good for a transit or short stay. Not much frills. Just a pure, straight forward, comfortable and clean place to stay near Gatwick.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Gatwick Airport. Wifi sufficient for streaming video is available to hotel guests for a fee of 15 pounds. There is a bar, restaurant and lounge on the ground floor and a fitness center on the first floor. Guests staying in rooms above the fitness center unfortunately can hear the sound of the gym equipment in use through the floor so it's best to request other rooms. The rooms themselves are nice with a flat TV, shower with handheld sprayer, and a 4-digit combination safe. This hotel does provide towels and washcloths. I suggest you bring your own soap if you plan to stay more than one night.

Spotty Wi-Fi. Old decor with smell. Pillows are thin. No hairdryer. Overpriced breakfast. While this is a decent place to stay, the price point doesn't match with services I think you should get for it (see above). One of the frustrating parts of my time here was to print out my boarding passes. They have a Windows XP for you to use and naturally since it's so old it froze! So I was given a bit of the runaround for something that should have been simple. This place is OK but there are better places to stay at like the Holiday Inn Express.

Used this hotel a couple of times now and always been happy. Location is good within walking distance of airport and the rooms are comfortable. We had dinner here too, just having burgers and the food and service where very good. Overall a good hotel with excellent staff.

Well priced hotel, located a 5 minute walk from the south terminal. It could be slightly better signposted, but there are signs if you look for them. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Was great for me and my family getting a decent amount of sleep before an early flight.

Hotel was nice and clean but wow so expensive. Everything had to be bought, Car park was £25 for the night and on top of your room coats as a guest. Drinks and snacks incredibly expensive and I beginning to think they were going to charge us for air! Room was so warm it took until about 1am before the room was cool enough to sleep but then had to get up at about 4 for our Flight! Nice hotel but wouldn't stay again.

It was a good night's stay and served its purpose. Being able to leave the car there and have it waiting for us when we got back was useful too. Saved money by being able to walk to the south terminal. Room was a good size and bed was fine. Service was good.

Comfortable clean and qualified staff. Decor a little vintage… But in a passing hotel there is.

Rooms were great. The beds are comfy and the room was quiet. The restaurant on the main floor is the only restaurant for miles, unless you go right into the airport. So, our wait time for a table was an hour and a half! Opted for room service and got our dinner in under 30 minutes.

Perfect for a one night stop as close to Gatwick South Terminal (5 minutes on foot). The rooms are clean, very well soundproofed and well equipped or better than some hotels with one more star. The restaurant is expensive but we are in an airport and in England …
Otherwise really nothing to complain about except a remark on the standard English jacks while it is a business and family hotel located in an international airport (history to make a negative remark)

Disappointed. Room was not bad. Food and draught cider not great at all in restaurant. Walked in rain to get there. We were never told there was a shuttle bus (not run by hotel). Tried to get shuttle bus back. £10 for 6 people. Couldn't accept Euros but could accept dollars. Again, no I information about this. Check-in was slow Could do a lot better in general. Overall a disappointing experience.

We stayed here for an early flight, the room was clean and comfortable, and it was quiet, not only the parking lot but also the baggage storage office, the car service was very convenient and the parking lot was very fast. In addition, 10 minutes walk to the South bus terminal, 80 euros is two weeks parking fee, very good value. But the consumption of restaurants and bars is a bit high.

Uncomfortable beds, water £1.25 in room, Wi-Fi isn't free and there is a £3 pp charge for a 3 min bus ride to Gatwick South terminal. Toilet paper was also like tracing paper!

Check in was great, lovely gentlman. Room was nice enough, just felt like they were trying to squeeze every penny out of you for extras, water, Wi-Fi etc.

The bed was passable. Other than that, I'd give zero stars. The non smoking room reeked of cigarettes. The internet firewall blocks everything except Gmail. I had to use my mobile data tether for my online flight check in because the airline website was blocked. The "business centre" computers are about 10 years old and are so locked down that you can't open a PDF file. I never was able to print my boarding pass. The shuttle which takes you.

Got my car today after travelling 24 hours with 2 small children only to find it had 2 flat tyres and several scratches! I was offered a foot pump and the man denied all knowledge and responsibility! I will be seeing them in court! AVOID!

Being a 4 Star hotel I think it was terrible it certainly did not measure up to Marriott Hotels in other area's. The Wi-Fi was an additional payment, the shuttle bus was an additional payment and although they provided 2 tea bags and 2 coffee sachets they did not supply biscuits which when a refreshment tray is provided comes as standard. We were a family with very young children leaving the hotel for a very early flight it would have been nice to give the children a drink of something and just a biscuit to wake up with until we made it to the Airport terminal. Never again!

Because you want to catch an early flight we stayed here for one night, room was clean and comfortable and very quiet, where not only have parking and luggage storage service, book a car service is the most convenient car park soon. In addition, a 10-minute walk can go to South Station, you can book tickets through search software, may holidays car parks will charge (not sure), the parking fee is 80 euros for two weeks, and very cost-effective. But the consumption of restaurant and bar is a little higher.

Came down for a 3 day course and found the staff extremely friendly and welcoming especially one of the restaurant supervisor called Loris extremely efficient.

Very big hotel room and comfortable beds. Dissapointing part was there was no outside view through the window.

Firstly, the hotel is fine. Clean as you would want, close to the airport. But I was disgusted at the state of my car when I picked it up. I fully understand not everyone's car is their pride and joy, but mine is, and no respect at all was shown. They had messed around with the gearbox settings, messed around with the air conditioning settings, left a sticky piece of paper with the booking reference on the seat and absolutely caked the driver side footwell in mud. Total lack of respect. Do not use the car parking service if you care about your car. Because they don't.

Great hotel, very friendly staff and good service. Terminal hopper bus was really convenient and fairly priced. Restaurant food was amazing, very good food for a fair price. Will definitely use again if I'm flying from Gatwick.

This is as close as you can get to the airport without being in the departures lounge. Even better the hire car company Thrifty has a reception in the same building. So hire a car and drop it off at the hotel and check in all within minutes. Rooms are fine and the bar and restaurant are typically overpriced. Would definitely stay again just for the convenience factor alone.

Mixed feelings about this one. Had to go to the reception desk three times until I was given a different room, since on my room the Internet wireless signal was non-existent, the phone didn't work and there was no mobile signal. Then they gave me junior suite, but made it very clear they were doing me a favour and wouldn't even charge more for it! The restaurant has really good food, but make sure you have a reservation. I dared showing up without a reservation, and even though only two tables had customers and the remaining 15 were empty, I was told in no unclear terms that I needed to have a reservation. When I pointed out to all the empty tables, I got one!

The rooms are clean and tidy. A disadvantage is that you can't open the window and the air conditioning, to ensure fresh air is very loud. Since the price for the Hotel is already quite high, seem to the cost of the water to the room, and the W-Lan almost like a mockery. The food in the Hotel was good, Breakfast sparse but adequate. All in all, just too expensive.
