Terrible breakfast. served with cold eggs and no spread for the toast. Tea turned up with no milk, sugar or spoon — Just a pot of tea and a cup! service was slow and overall a disappointment for the price.

Rude staff, always overcharging or trying to. Don’t respond to messages of complaint. Shame as the food is good but service is not.

The rooms are fine and served my purpose for staying. The staff are friendly, special mention to Bekky for making the best Bloody Mary 🤣Many thanks.

Held my friends hen do here last night, had the whole of upstairs. From the moment I enquired about holding the do there to the moment we left, the management and staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and nothing was to much, (unlike another venue in Haslemere I approached) The silver buffet was amazing. Would highly recommend Harpers, whether just for food/drinks or a function.

The steaks are really good. I know it’s a Steak House, but they were so tender. Try them yourself, you won’t be disappointed IMHO.

Splurged on food today, so tonight me and my son had half a rack of bbq ribs, chicken leg, fries with bbq sauce and a corn on the cob, I had to share my ribs with the dog and 1 cat, soooo much meat! Proper thick. Okay it was fairly priced at nearly £18 BUT really really worth it! And I asked for cutlery on the app thinking I'd get plastic, they're real metal ones wtf lol harpers steakhouse you rock! Best ribs I've ever eaten by far!

Delicious breakfast last week. Cooked perfectly. Friendly and welcoming staff and a lovely environment. We’ll definitely visit again sometime.

Loved the refurbishment…I had the nut roast and it was delicious…very friendly and helpful staff and the pornstar martini was spot on.

We recently had a family dinner that was great here and were particulary impressed with how the venue handled our sons allergies. Which is why today for our Wedding Anniversary, we decided to try it out for Brunch as a child free treat. Upon arrival the girl who initially served us was very friendly and said we could pick where we wanted to sit as it was quiet with only 4 or so tables taken in the entire venue. We were then approached by a different waitress as we were choosing and we said we would like to sit in a booth, she said she would prefer it if we didnt incase they had a group come in, as I stated the place was pretty empty! Which I pointed out to her, so she then said ok u can sit there… we sat down and within minutes shes come over asking us to pass her all the glasses and cutlery from the table as we werent using it all… from beginning to end she didnt smile once was curt, abrupt and very obviously making a point. We were made to feel very unwelcome, which was a shame as we had been really looking forward to it. Cannot comment on the food as we made the decision to dine elsewhere as it didnt feel right to stay.

Lovely date night with brilliant food and service! will definitely come back.

Been here a few times but not since the refurb. Had lunch today with my other half. 35 oz Tomahawk Steak with everything. Worth every penny and Cooked to perfection. First class service Staff were very busy but I couldn't fault them polite and attentive.
Will definitely be back. Had a lovely experience.

Been before with great food, can’t fault the staff, ordered a steak but was inedible, half of it was filled with gristle and couldn’t even cut it with the steak knife, when mentioned to our waitress she just said she would mention it to the chef, and that was the last we heard of it. Disappointing.

Had to ask for menus, only had half a drinks menu, had to ask twice for something they forgot to bring out with the dinner. Very slow service.

Had breakfast this morning and it was excellent. Lovely produce cooked to perfection and friendly and helpful staff.

Have just had the most amazing burger gifted to us over lockdown. We will most definitely be back for more meals. Lovely staff, friendly and relaxed.

Absolutely delicious food and terrific service! The decor inside & out has been done wonderfully, and we have enjoyed 2 visits in the last week — it was so good we came back 3 days after our first visit!

First meal since you became a Steak House. Wonderful service and a great menu. Looking forward to many more visits. It was so nice to be out again.

Good value comfortable rooms right opposite the railway station. Great bar and food in the restaurant — hard to decide what to have! nice wine list — a little pricey perhaps but it is Haslemere!

Lovely bedrooms, comfortable bed, very cosy decoration and a fantastic restaurant.
The staff are all welcoming and I would definately come back here with friends and family.

Popped in here on a whim as we were getting the train from Haslemere but was unbelievably pleasantly surprised. I had the Pie of the Day (Lamb and Mushroom), it was DELICIOUS. Yummiest pastry ever. Should not be seen as a stop over, but a destination.

There's a lot to like and some reservations. Firstly, they've spent a fortune transforming the place. The decor and quality in any one place is high quality. The food was good. The biggest complaint is the layout which at best makes the style feel 'bitty' and at worse is disruptive and dangerous. First time I visited to have a drink, I went through the main entrance and turned right into the tiny bar area. It was full and my friend and I almost left, before we realised that there was another section behind the bar. To get there we had to squeeze around the bar where the staff were. On the other size it's twice as large and then there's another floor. Another time I visited with my wife and we entered from the car park, following a steep path into the top. This time we were trying to have lunch and had a confusing walk through the rooms until we were practically out the front door on the ground floor before we found the right section. And as you walk through, the beautiful decor doesn't seem to join up, as if walking through a series of restaurants and cafes. Although we didn't use them, there are some outdoor tables which are on the narrow driveway which again seems to be a curious layout choice as drivers navigate diners. Service was good with friendly staff and the pricing was OK, though their tapas only lunch guarantees you'll pay more than you think for lunch. I realise I've focused on the negatives but overall it is a recommendation.

Friendly and welcoming. A well organised, equipped and operated small hotel. The room was impeccably prepared and all facilities worked well. I recommend this establishment with confidence.

Went here on Friday. Sorry I didn’t post about it then but I was having too good a time! And I usually like to wait a day or two to make sure there were no Ill — effects. Fabulous food from a clearly marked menu on which very little was off limits. Well done. I’ll definitely be back. Well worth the train journey!

My children treated me for a surprise mothers day meal, the service was second to none, a lovely atmosphere, food was really lovely.

Parents booked a room at The Georgian for Mother’s Day evening. After an excellent meal elsewhere, we travelled back to Haslemere to check into the Georgian. It supposedly had been refurbished, however it was grubby, smelt damp and had definitely not be refurbished. Well, we got the key, walked up to the room and immediately walked out again. Mother would have rather stayed in the car than stayed at The Georgian. Thankfully, we stopped… at The Station House and explained our situation. The lovely manager left her table, where she was having her Mother’s Day lunch, and sorted us out with a lovely room. She showed us up to our room with no fuss, even though her lunch was getting cold. The room was absolutely lovely. Newly decorated, absolutely spotless and lovely double doors opening up onto a little seating area outside. The bed was lovely and comfy with plump and cosy pillows and duvets and the bathroom was also immaculately clean. My parents were delighted with their decision to swap hotels. We had a few drinks in the bar, lovely staff, and then popped out for a while. In the morning, they said they had had an excellent night sleep and asked if we wanted to join them at The station house for breakfast. Again, we were welcomed by lovely and attentive staff. The full English was amazing and again everything was spotless. We live in Haslemere and are so happy that we have now found a wonderful place to go for breakfast.

Very nice place the food was excellent, would recommend to all. We had a perfect Mothering Sunday lunch.

Unfortunately we booked a table not knowing that they were only serving a small valentine's menu which we did not fancy. On arrival they stated they were not doing any other food. The manager was too busy to talk to us. We had looked forward to the original menu, and it was too late to go elsewhere. Ended up with a burger. Never go there again.

The rooms were good! Food great and drinks are a little expensive but still good. Great proximity to the station as well.

Drove from Essex for a wedding reception and stayed at The Station House. The room was lovely, would say it needed a full length mirror. The food was amazing and worth the money, the staff were so friendly and welcoming… would come back.

Finally a good place in a location that really should be a winner. I like the multiple bars and booth style eating. Haven't eaten there yet…

Have eaten at The Station House 3 times and the food has been very good every time. A guest beer would improve the bar selection.

Full of old time railway character. Comfortable room and modern bathroom. Staff were amazing and super helpful. Has a restaurant, late night bar and seafood/champagne bar with live acoustic music. Short walk into town. Across from Haslemere train station.

Lovely dog friendly hotel. Food a bit pricey and fancy but it's top quality. Staff are lovely and kept me company at breakfast as I was on my own with my dog going to see a specialist vet so stressful time. Opposite station but didn't notice the regular trains and I'm a light sleeper. If you turn right out of hotel there is the old part of halesmere and it's lovely. Five minute drive to the left is devil's basin, a lovely day out for walking the dogs. Oh and dogs even welcome in restaurant. Will come again when dog is better and bring the other. Can't recommend hotel and location enough.

This place has come along way since being re opened. The staff are great, the food is excellent and the selection of drinks is also worth looking over. There is a nice balcony upstairs for outdoor drinks and the sunday roast is very good.

Went early morning for a meeting over coffee, had to wait a while as staff busy in hotel, otherwise rear coffee bar upstairs pleasent.

Large hotel/ pub with lots of levels offering views over the hillside. Conveniently located opposite the train station. Good selection of unusual draught beer and lager. Top terrace at the rear acts as a suntrap, wild landscaped garden and no road noise.

Great rooms but no net curtains and rooms are visible to the street which can be awkward, hence 4 stars. Restaurant is top notch and there is a very lively bar too!

Recently refurbished, this is a very pleasant restaurant and bar. Good menus for lunch and dinner, you can also enjoy a drink in the bar.

Lovely food with a good set menu, very clean and good decor but was let down by service was only 3 tables in restaurant and did take a while for food to come out and after getting the dessert menu we waited 15 minutes and we had to go and get some one in the end and just got our bill couldn't even find our waitress… Great food but service let it down.

Fantastic location since the renovation always busy but not overcrowded. I Normally go there for a drink however the food is also superb.

We were greeted warmly and shown to our room which was very comfortable. The pub is lovely, with different areas for dining, drinking, a terrace out the front and a bar with a garden out the back. The decor is train themed and fun.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and fun.
We sampled the local brew, some delicious wine and fantastic food. I have never had avocado chips before.
We stayed on a busy Saturday night but did not feel rushed at all. Very relaxed. Altogether a delight. I would highflying recommend it.

Can't decide if it's great or just too pretentious. For now, I'll keep returning because it's walking distance.

Loved this Hotel. We only stayed a night on our way to Gatwick the room was extremely comfortable and clean Although the room was not large and there was no bath (which we knew when we booked anyway) the shower room was beatifully appointed with complimentary towelling robes.
We ate dinner in the resaurant the staff were lovely and the food delicious.
We had continental for breakfast and we were unable to eat everything that was brought to our table, again everything was delicious.
Highly recommended.
