Family run. Very friendly and welcoming, looked after by Alistair and Sharon. Close to the beach, not far from town. Very clean will be going again.

Clean comfortable rooms. Great hosts sharon n Alastair n great food and plenty of it would recommend highly.

Overpriced B&B. I paid £70 for a room midweek. Definitely not 4 Star feel to this place. Poor quality, cheap breakfast ingredients. Bedroom acceptable.

So me and my partner had booked this horrible guesthouse for one night, we walked into our room and walked straight out, this 'guesthouse' is filthy, smelly, dull. It was like walking right into a nightmare! When we left, a few hours later Alister the owner rung me and my partner up abusing us down the phone, I have never spoken to such a horrible person. All warning to who ever is thinking of booking this vile guesthouse! save your money!

Excellent week the family are really welcoming the rooms and facilities are excellent excellent breakfast with a very good variety of options all in all would really recommend this b&b to anyone excellent.

Was very impressed by this clean friendly accommodation we were greeted on arrival and made to feel welcome. This was the start of our holiday. The Chequers was a lovely centre for our short break in Great Yarmouth it was situated close to beach and the seafront and the pleasure front. Town is only a short walk away. Bev's cooking was great and the service was excellant they went out of their way to make us happy cannot wait until we return.

Stayed here with my wife and was very impressed with the whole atmosphere of the place. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful and the rooms really comfortable. We will certainly be returning and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel.

Friendly helpfull owners made our stay wonderfull. brilliant food comfortable clean rooms, only a short walk to the sea front and all the amenities will definatly be returning to the chequers, this hotel and the owners made our holiday a real pleasure.
