Good food and very welcoming.

I booked a room and found the welcome more than excellent but was horrified to see who was the chef and didn’t realise that such an establishment would hire an arsonist as a chef but that would explain the burnt sausages and the eggs were disgusting and ended up going out to the American diner down the road on sea front and got a breakfast that was perfect and delicious five stars but the sea horse well I give it one star for breakfast and that’s being nice other than that it was a great stay the establishment and staff were very warm and welcoming.

I came here with a group of ladies for a pre booked lunch. There was a great welcome and we had the exclusive use of the lounge and both dinning rooms in a leisurely and friendly atmosphere. There was an excellent choice of lunch options, all home made and generous portions. Included were individual cupcakes and pots of tea and fresh coffee to finish. We all felt that the value was unbelievable and I don't think we'll go anywhere else that would be better.

100% recommend seahorse Guest House if you're visiting Great Yarmouth. So welcoming and great for the kids — toys in the lounge area was a lovely touch, plus it's so close to the sea front that it was easy walking distance for our 6 and 3 year olds. We will certainly be returning!

I really enjoyed my stay it was clean and well organised and very welcoming. The room was lovely and comfortable and the breakfasts were yummy. They even had home made jams and marmalade for toast. I will definately stay there again and recommend it to friends and family. Good value for money.

We have just returned from 5 days at the seahorse and Phillip and Sandra were very welcoming, the rooms were very spacious and clean, and breakfast was a delight everyday. We could not have found a more accommodating couple who made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. It was very pleasant to have an evening drink and a chat with Phillip in the bar while the kids played happily with the toys and games provided, nothing seemed too much trouble for them even letting us leave our bags there when we arrived early while we went for dinner to find them in our rooms when we got back,

I felt the bad vibe as I walked through the door and the guest house if I hadn't of already paid I would of said sorry I cant stay here. I felt uncomfortable the B&B needs a major overhaul. How you can have linen drying in restaurant is beyond Me? Turn the second dining room into a utility if need be. Bedroom was needing updating and bathroom ripping out and replacing. I could not cope with the stairs due to my bad knees. Breakfast was luke warm and I hated the sausages and uncooked hash browns. Bar was not open in the evening on a friday night and the lounge was locked everything seemed a lot of effort. I was met by hostile owners. Bed was uncomfortable and no parking at the B&B was a nightmare. We wouldn't stay there again although we love Great Yarmouth and go a lot. Also couldnt sleep due to noise and on a rough corner of the street and what made it worse was the noisy extractor fan in bathroom.

Very nice welcoming people, fantastic breakfast. Close to all good attractions. Would definitely recommend.

Sandra and Phillip are very welcoming, they went above and beyond during our stay to offer little extras to accommodate a very tired and fussy child. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of space for the sproggling and myself, the food at breakfast is excellent with plenty of options and they are happy for you to mix and match. As for the location you couldn't do much better, it's smack dab in the middle and just far enough back to be only a two minute walk to the sea …front whilst cutting out all the noise when it gets busy down there. Down side… the bed is comfier than my own and I couldn't get it in my bag. I would happily recommended the Seahorse guest house to anyone looking to stay in Great Yarmouth.

Very welcoming, nice accommodation, nice view, all are great!

Fantastic stay. Stayed in a large double room with tall bay windows. Very spacious and clean. Phil and Sandra were a delight and always asking if they could help. This Guesthouse has a bar in the lounge, which we were worried about initially but our fears were put to rest on the first night. Very quiet, calm, but homely feel. Wonderful atmosphere — perfect balance between a B&B and a Hotel. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Honestly faultless experience! :).
