We came to celebrate my husbands birthday and had a lovely time. The room was nice and the dinner and service was just amazing. We used the spa and just left feeling totally relaxed. Can’t wait to come back.

The lights could have been dimmer and more air conditioning it needs attention and the functions room the band should have been in front of the pillars as half the audience couldn’t see them otherwise staff amazing and lovely courtyard.

Lovely setting, spacious room and had amazing spa treatments. Can not recommend high enough. Come and see for yourself soon!

I had lunch today and it was very poor, the eggs were over cooked with dry hard yolks the Ham was not fresh had a silver colour in the middle and was Grey and brown on the edge.
The chips however were lovely I did tell the waitress about the Ham and eggs but nothing done.

It has everything a fine Hotel and Golf Club could possibly have.
The Team are second to non, welcoming and attentive. They definitely make you feel at ease.

Lovely friendly hotel. Decor is very chic and has a warm homely feeling. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food really good. Could not fault it. Will definitely be back.

Stayed in a lovely lodge — very comfortable, very warm, very cosy, very clean. Had tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, bathroom amenities, towels, kitchen cleaning basics incl dishwasher tabs … it even had a Christmas tree — cute. Really enjoyed our one night :-)

Great place and quiet, 15 minutes to Gatwick.

I have recently joined the club and I must say all the staff from the pro shop, sales people, bar and green keepers are very friendly and helpful. The Vets have a roll up on a Tuesday, I turned up and was welcomed by all. The golf course is in a great condition with the greens very receptive and rolling true. I am very glad that I joined.

We got married here at the end of may. It was just perfect. We have had a lot of compliments from our guests about the hotel. The staff were amazing and made it run smoothly, the food was perfect everyone enjoyed it. Jackie was really helpful throughout the planning.
We even had good enough weather to drive the golf buggy to the lake for some photos. We cannot recommend this place enough for a wedding. Thank you again to everyone who made it a perfect day.

Guest for a wedding. Room sizes were good, comfy bed. Make sure however you close your curtains or your get caught out by golfers! Use of swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Also a gym. Bars good prices. Staff very polite, especially lady on reception. Prices was very worth the stay. Travelling by car best as its down a long country road and nearest garage 10 min drive. Tea and coffee in room and also smellies to wash. Carpet was slightly dirty. I had my young boy in my bed but for normal stays I would say good for small breaks without kids as not alot for them to do. Free Wi-Fi. Serves food for both meat and vegaterians and excellent breakfast variety but bacon was a miss, too dry. However, I rate this a top place to stay.

I booked in for one night for a Birthday treat and had a wonderful time. The staff are lovely and welcoming (remembering my name each time they saw me). The bedroom was a good size and spotless with a balcony overlooking the golf course (if only it hadn't been raining). The leisure facilities are great — good sized warm pool, sauna, steam and jacuzzi. I'm so glad I found this place, I will definitely be returning. Thank you.

What a lovely setting, only had a single room but ample space, very comfy. Plenty of hot water for shower. Food was lovely, had a evening meal and a pint and full English in the morning. Spot on, and at a reasonable price, wouldn’t mind staying there again! Oh, and you can use the gym or swimming pool during your stay as well…

I am a member of the Golf Club, this weekend (3rd Feb 18) I stayed with the wife, as it was the Annual Dinner Dance. Which we do every year. I can not recommend highly enough staying here. The rooms are some of the most spacious you can find in any hotel, with large beds, nice views and all you need for your stay. Staff are very friendly, breakfast is plentiful and use of the Health Club and Spa was very relaxing after a long night.
My wife is not a member here and she really enjoys our stays, as you do feel you are getting away from it all thanks to the wonderful setting.

I know you might think I am biased, but give a stay a go, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Oh, the golf course is great by the way.

We came to a party here and stayed the night beautiful room and very comfortable great price and breakfast was lovely I’d definitely recommend.

From start to finish the staff at Cottesmore made our wedding the most fantastic day. We could not thank Jackie the events manager and her team enough for all the hard work they put in. The food is absolutely incredible! Would recommend this place to anyone who is getting married! Beautiful venue, amazing people! It was such a relaxed experience. 10/10!

Lovely place, gorgeous rooms, nice quiet atmosphere. Down side… food isnt that great, showers in rooms big let down! Needed a clean not much water comes out and temperature knackered.

Great value Phoenix course (£8 with 2fore1 vouchers). Challenging course — need to use clever club selection. Lovely woodland setting. Will be back.

A return trip to play the Phoenix Course which was only £10 and good condition given the snow rain and generally bad weather, sun was shining though. Would recommend for a entry level golfer and people looking to get good golf and beat the credit crunch.
