Wickwoods Country Club Hotel & Spa Hotel

We popped in for afternoon tea. Very nice afternoon in lovely surroundings. The afternoon tea was perfect and very generous. Too much for us to eat. The service was excellent. Parking no problem. A real treat for us.

I had my first experience at Wickwoods this week as a gift, the reception staff are great and I had 2 treatments from (I think her name is Chloe) lovely blonde lady with glasses. The pools were nice but the outside spa garden was the main attraction, especially being cold outside it was a really lovely conflicting feeling being in the warm hydropool but still being able to breathe fresh air. The robe given to visitors is a bit scratchy and I have sensitive skin : (but everything else about the spa was great. The weather was biblical and it was a shame there is no indoor ways around each side to avoid it for visitors. I would also like to tip my hat to Kayla, I believe they are waiting staff in training, they were lovely and polite and I think whoever is training them was slightly aggressive. Thank you for serving us Kayla :) Food was amazing, fish and chips were the best I’ve had in a very long time, and the special christmassy gateau was really cute and not heavy at all. 1000x will come again.

We had lunch here today for my husbands birthday. It was absolutely superb. By far the best meal out that either of us can remember. The beef was absolutely gorgeous. Lovely atmosphere. Attentive staff. We had a really great time. Thank you so much.

I dined al fresco at Wickwoods for lunch today in their beautiful outdoor dining room, surrounded by festive garlands, twinkling lights and patio heaters. This thoughtfully designed space was the perfect venue for a catch up with friends. The menu is varied and good value, and the food was excellent. The service was welcoming, attentive throughout and friendly. As well as the heaters, each dining chair has a blanket and cushion to keep you warm and comfortable. Highly recommend a visit. Wedding day — 24/10/2020 We had a truly unforgettable day! Wickwoods staff provided a first class service. They were amazing at keeping us both calm and relaxed throughout this crazy time.
We are so glad we went ahead with a restricted day, it was perfect and we could not fault a thing. Guests also had the best day, they said the food was incredible with never before seen portion sizes with special praise in the direction of the service. We will most definitely be regular visitors to Wickwoods and would highly recommend to friends and family. Donny & Ruby

Wickwoods has been truly amazing over the past few months. Very professional, thoughtful consideration and well organised — thank you to the team for all your hard work. I’ve been enjoying my classes with spacious personal space and high standard protocols. Plus beautiful grounds & fantastic food, what a gem!

Just wanted to say how great Wickwoods have been during the lockdown both in terms of communication but also their extra services. Their takeaways are great and food boxes excellent quality as well. Having online classes has really helped us keep focused. Everyone is always so positive and friendly. Keep up the great work, Lee should be super proud of you all.

Just had the best overnight stay here to celebrate our anniversary. Such wonderful service, the spa was amazing and the food was beautiful. Will definitely be booking to come here again. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay. Now I have serious hotel blues!

Went for Sunday lunch and it was by far the best we have had, meat was excellent and the selection of veg was excellent.
We were offered complimentary water a bread when we arrived and had a nice table overlooking the garden, staff were excellent as was the service we will definitely be going back

I stayed here one night in business. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. The gym, pool and spa are excellent. I had a meal in the glass house and this again was excellent with really big portions. Work hard in the gym beforehand and you will not feel guilty! I would go for the £100 a night deal as this includes gym pool etc, evening meal and breakfast. Thank you to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable.
