The food has always been good when I've eaten there. They keep a good pint of bitter. The romost are very good. It has changed hands now and changes are being made.

We stayed for one nite & that was enough. Very modern room but the bed was hard as rock. Didn't sleep at all cos the content banging of doors. Breakfast was over priced. Wouldn't recommend it. Far to noisy.

Buxted Inn is modern and well presented but it appearance belies the fact that it is very noisy! Front facing rooms suffer with traffic noise till late at night and every door closure and voices can be heard from other guest rooms. This needs to be sorted to warrant a higher rating.

Stayed here for 2 days over the May bank holiday for a wedding nearby. Rooms nice and tidy. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food we had on the Saturday evening was very nice. Only problems were the noise of doors slamming during the night and the breakfast was a bit slow, but apart from that, nice place.

The staff here were amazing. Friendly, polite and helpful. The food was good, not great, but sensibly priced. Would recommend.

Great food and service, comfortable and clean surroundings, we took a dog with us, so sat near the door in a separate area to the main dining room, which was fine. Just a little pricey and the food portions were not large enough for one of our party, but this was on Mother's day, the usual menu mIght be different and less expensive. Friendly people.

This place feels like the Queen Vic from EastEnders but with less vibe! The food is awful. My pasta wasn't even cooked properly-who can't cook pasta! Do yourself a favour and walk a hundred yards down the hill to the amazing and cosy White Hart which is everything the Buxted Inn is not!

This is a great place being comfortable, contemporary and good quality. Attention to detail is everywhere. I would not hesitate to recommend it strongly.

Stayed here for a wedding recently. Staff were very friendly and informative and were able to offer details of several local cab companies which was helpful. Liked that you can turn on the shower before entering. Some loud music woke me up fairly early in the morning — this could have been from someone else staying there, but it did taint an otherwise lovely stay. Would recommend.

Only visited once. Nice quiet little pub with TV screens etc and some nice beers.

Great all staff very Friendly, always willing to help will come back here… super clean, love the place, everybody made us feel welcome, and, the service was excellent.

One of those pubs that's been done up horribly to look smart and soulless. The barmaid also seemed more interested in chatting to someone on Facebook than serving real customers face to face. Oh, and they had rugby on the telly.

Went there on the off chance they where happy to fit us in. Food was delicious and staff very friendly would highly recommend this pub.

Fantastic place to relax and enjoy the ambience. The locals are reasonably friendly as long as you keep them top up with booze…

We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome. The staff were lovely. The room was beautifully appointed and superb value for money. We ate in the restaurant. The service was quick and the food sublime. A real jewel.

Nicely fitted out bar with great outside seating area. Enjoyed my gin and tonic thoroughly.

Room was clean and comfortable. Owner was incredibly helpful and even gave us a life to a wedding we were attending as no taxis were available.

Stayed for 4 nights. 8 bedrooms and if the rest were anything like ours was clean and well presented. Super shower with digital controls, little tight with tea and coffee supplies but I am sure more was available if requested. Food in the restaurant and breakfast excellent. Good value per night in recently refurbished premises.

The buxted in is a nice cost modern pub and restaurant that don't do anything wrong. Good service, good food and a good selection of drinks.

Good village pub. Recent refurb has improved the bar area considerably. Good food, decent selection of beers and wines. Seated area outside, albeit by the road. Unfortunately just lacks a garden.
