£380 for a caravan and this is my kids room. The draft is so bad. They didn’t sleep at all. I’ve moved them and I’ll be suffering this instead.

The accommodation isn't the greatest but the chalet we are staying in is adequate. However all the staff are kind and friendly and non judgemental, it's great for kids and adults alike!

Friendly Staff, Caravans nice and clean, Plenty to do for the whole family, Service always with a smile, Highly Recommended even if you just want to get away for a few days, close to beach and local shops. :)

Everything fantastic. They sorted all things. Amazing people.

Been coming for last 4 years, enjoy it every year, Very family friendly, lots for children to do. Staff dealing well with social distancing.

Very clean with top facilities and entertainment for kids and adults only down point for me was the swimming pool that needs to be warmer in and out of it.

Absolutely disgusting, Arrived on my birthday with my family and left on my birthday, it bought me tears, the caravan was awful not fit for any human or animal to live in! Restaurant staff were being sent to make bed up as cleaners in their words “couldn’t cope” other customers are unhappy, so so disappointed.

Stayed here with my 3 kids unfortunately they all got a bug but the staff were brilliant in helping me Daniel the manager Thankyou so much for your help! Entertainment brilliant facilities ok accommodation brilliant. Troupers are excellent. Thankyou.

I had heard a lot about this beach some even compared it with the beaches in Bournemouth. First of all this is not entirely a sand beach. The beach though quite big has almost next no facilities. There are no shops or toilets near by and there is very limited parking spaces. There is a good promenade for walks. I had a reasonable day thanks to the weather but wont be in a hurry to return.

Camber Sands is amongst the best beaches in UK. Nice sand cliffs for hikes. Wonderful sea views. Nice and Clean beaches with the best views of the sea.

The worst holiday I have ever had, caravan was filthy rotten and smelt of mould, no net curtains and curtains kept falling down and was mouldy, electric switched off every time you used the toaster, stalls were broken and was told some one would come and fix but never did, urine all over radiators, sofa all ripped and rotten. Blood or poo over the duvet, Cafe was closed as rang out of coffee and chips, Costa machine broken, had to wait 45 minutes to be allowed in the pool, sold out of character teddies and the only shop on the god for saken site closes at 8, what more can I say.

Beware! The Western car park has a Smart Parking system. My daughter and I have supported this beach for years and we were recently fined for not purchasing a parking ticket (Not True). I appealed the fine and this was rejected so my advise is to hold onto your ticket for at least a month as proof of purchase. I did not appeal any further through lack of energy, sanity and the GD ticket! We no longer support this beach x.

Definitely one of the best beach in UK. Very clean sands, the water is gorgeous and there’s plenty of parking. I would suggest parking in the D area and go on foot up the hill and discover this beautiful place. Perfect weekend at a lovely beach if the weather allows it ;)

Lovely lovely beach but you have to go early on hot summer days as it gets busy and the car parks are full to capacity. There is a steep Sandy hill you climb to get to the actual beach. Don't take any buggy or a lot of things or its gonna be like you've been in the gym for the first time. Be mindful of the tides they come in rapidly. Lifeguards, first aiders and police are on patrol so it's great. Overall one of the best beaches I've been too in England.

Great place to visit for a day out with the kids. Finally, they have sorted out the car park payment system. You no longer pay at the gate on entry. Instead you park your car and pay and display.

Really good beach. Some areas are shingle but some are sand. Dunes set back are great for picnics, although they are quite steep for less fit people. The tide goes out a long way and the sea isn't very deep for a fair way out. Flagged areas to keep you safe are reassuring.

Unique stretch of sandy beach stretching across the East Sussex cost for ~11km. Arriving at low tide you're meet with ~400m of beach however, as the tide comes in that's reduced to ~50m. beware of the rip tides. They've been known to cause drownings!

Absolutely beautiful place! Really loved out there, lots of car parks, however there's lots of traffic if you come late. Very busy on a good weather, there is a few food and drink places, but its obviously not the cheapest, so I would advise to pack some food and cold drinks in advance.

Clean beach. Enjoyed time over bank holiday. Not crowed.

Beautiful sandy beach. Ideal for family day out. Best to avoid very windy days. Safety warning: Tide can come in quickly so watch out kids and those who can swim that well. There is also under current. It is best to avoid venturing out deep water.

Great long sandy beach with fine views. Well constructed sea wall and walkway with access stairways to beach. However the car park surface is rough and full of potholes and there are zero facilities. No cafe or toilets just a couple of shacks selling wind surfing gear. Uneasy mix of great and wretched.

A breath taking & very clean beach with an abundance of space to do your thing! Felt very safe and great facilities offered, lots of places to eat and a couple of beach shops to grab your seaside bits from that weren't too over priced. Parking was plentiful and reasonable in price. Would highly recommend for all types of visitors. No beach chair hire though (atleast in April), so bring your own seats if you need them.

Nice static caravan holiday. Long walk enjoy the sea. Lot less crowded then Brighton…

Amazing beach, although very busy when the weather is nice. Just keep you marbles together when venturing into the sea!

One of my favorite beaches with beautiful dunes. Very clean. Parts of the seaside are dog friendly, there are many pooches to interact with. Car park available.

Fantastic beach, miles of sand and dunes. Me and my girls love it here either in the summer or the winter. Parking is £3 for 3hrs or £5 for up to 6hrs (as of Dec 2017).

Nice place to stay good for kids. Lovely walks along the sea front.

Me and the bf go here every year off season as in season gets bizzy, for us its the nearest too likeness of cornwall which we visit every year as well, the café is great on the sand simple food but good and staff friendly too, the sandy beach is fantastic and the whole experience is relaxing.

Great beach but watch out on bank holidays can take an extra full hour to get near the car park. Off street parking available on some roads. Shops are nearby and you can hire sundecks if needed. We enjoyed our 2nd visit and this is probably the beach of choice coming from London.

My idea of hell. Terrible parking (virtually no noticeable organisation). Way too many people. Some with boom boxes. Probably better during off peak.

Beautiful to enjoy on warm sunny day! Long miles of coastline, sandy beach, sand dunes next to the beach All in one place! Bet place to chill with friends and family. Only 52 miles away from London, is worth a visit.

I have never been to a place where the accommodation was more FILTHY and DISGUSTING and SMELLY. It was appalling. We were not even in the budget rooms so goodness knows how bad they would be. This venue should be shut down. I have come home and immediately gone down with a sickness bug which I am certain I caught there! My only advice to anyone thinking about this place is to FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE — nowhere else could be this awful. We travelled with lots of others who had exactly the same quality — ie NONE! One star is WAY too high for this review.

Brilliant! You definitely get what you pay for, its cheap, and you get brilliant service and many things to do and play! It has lots of parks which is awesome and the beach has lots of dunes which are fun to climb! Definitely 5/5! To all the haters, what do you expect for such a good price? Its a fun family holiday, not a dull one. It also has the most delicious food, you have probably ever tasted, with a wide variety of starters, mains, and desserts. Pontins has a pool, arcade, beach and at least 4 parks as I remember. For adults, there is also the queen Victoria pub, and other places where you can order drinks. You should definitely go there!

I am currently staying here with my family. When we first got here there was literally nowhere to park. Drove round n round for an hour. The chalet was filthy, I had to clean the whole place, even worse clean some one elses "body hair"from the bath! not good. Food is awful and the staff in the queen victoria pub clearly hate their jobs! I read awful reviews before I came here and rang the park to question the bad reviews on the chalet ect and was told everything had been refurbished at xmas… clearly a lie. What a dump. Wish id not bothered.

It was like walking into a run down council estate, if hell was a place it would be this! It was so revolting we didn't even pick up our key as we didn't want to discover what we would be sleeping In. From the outside of the park it looks lovely with a huge blue building coated in activities for your children that you wouldn't dare to even use, however we got through the gates and drove practically the whole way round the park to discover what looked like Poverty flats that had been left to neglected by the useless staff and owner who runs this awful so called 'holiday' destination. Who's ever herd of a pub win NO toilets? They closed them only for the staff to use which I think is unacceptable towards the quests which are paying here wages each month. We wanted to find somewhere to eat because we had to wait 2 hours for our key! The staff told me to go outside the park to a chip shop to eat. We was walking and then we discovered shortly from the park, park resorts holiday park and they were lovely and understanding of what we had just been through and they booked us in within about 10 minutes to a lovely caravan that we stayed in and it was lovely and clean and very maintained. If you would like to go anywhere I'd advice to stay clear of Pontins and keep going to park resorts camber sands ☺️

We stayed here over easter halfterm needs abit of updating room had two window handles missing we gave the room a clean ourselves as it wasn't the cleanest the sofa bed in lounge wasnt very comfortable even the single beds springs were sticking through but we made the most of it and prices were cheap so you pay for what you get other then that ok lots to do for the kids beach within walking distance we enjoyed our stay.

U get what u pay for. Been here b4 so knew wot 2 expect but our hols was a sun holiday at a bargain price for a family of 3. The apartments r a little tired in places but ours was clean & tidy. Basic level of home comforts but enough cooking equip/utensils for us 2 cook & eat. Microwave toaster & kettle all provided. Bathroom was clean & in perfect working order plenty of hot running water throughout our stay. The sofa beds r absolutely awful there's no getting away from that so not the greatest nights sleep. There's plenty 2 do on the park, our 5yr old son had a gr8 time on the various parks. We hit the swimming pool everyday, played crazy golf both of which r free. There were trampolines, inflatables an arcade, bikes 2 hire. All staff we encountered were helpful & friendly. A choice of 2 club halls plus the Queen Victoria pub. Kids entertainment started a little late but kept our son happy. We found the on site shop 2 b v well stocked & reasonably priced. Everything u could need 4 ur break was on offer. We had a lovely 5 days here finding plenty 2 do & our only gripe was the lumpy sofa bed.

Just had a weekend break with the sun newspaper. Me and my husband went with an open mind as like most people read all the reviews, well I have to say we had a fab time the chalet was clean and everything worked we cooked every night. The staff were pleasant who we spoke too even the cleaners gave you a good morning! Our kids all enjoyed the evening entertainment 13-4 years and there was plenty to do to keep us all entertained by the blue coats. I would however take extra bedding even if you hire as beds not the most comfiest but that is the only negative I have.

OMG filthy falling apart chalets, felt like we had gone back in time. Car parking is a joke. Complained about insecure chalet locks that were pretty much falling off the door. (amongst other things) and no one came to look. Mouldy shower cracked Mouldy grout… I could go on and on, easier to just say DON'T GO THERE FFS! Pontins should be ashamed the money they make from the poor people that have to endure this dive… safely say we will never come to Pontins Camber Sands again… the area is lovely so it's just the Pontins park that is rubbish.!

Unlike other pontins, restaurant does not offer buffet. Food is expensive and terrible. Better cook your own food in your chalet kitchenette. metered electricity is very expensive. Electric heaters and water heater are very inefficient. Pontins used to sell electricity tokens in £1 lots. Now they have found a new way to make more money by only selling £5 electricity tokens, no partial refunds. parking is not adequate for the number of chalets they let out. So they charge £20 for a parking space. Public transport is not convenient to get there. swimming pool is supposed to be open daily. But usually closed on most days. 1* for well designed self-contained chalets. But maintenance could be better. Finding your chalet is like navigating through a maze puzzle. You need a map! there is TV in every chalet, but they might as well take it away. It is that useless. No remote, not tuned, tiny screen from days bygone. my friends are the only reason I go there. I have been going there few times a year almost regularly for the past few years.

Never again! The worst place I've ever stayed! Arrived at 2 booked in to our club apartment, had booked over phone saying we needed disabled access and car parking near the room. First couldn't get car near! Went into apartment it was filthy, mood growing, beds broken, paint pealing, cups and plates dirty and overall run down and needed Kate and Aggie to come and clean! We complained and they said they would move us! Two and a half hours they left us waiting! After traveling 7 hr with a 3 & 4 yr old this was not a good start! The apartment was cold, the curtains moved in the wind without a window open! The noise was unbearable! The cooker didn't work, I could rant forever, so basically it was rubbishy and I would not go back if you paid us!

Having found a good deal on wowcher, the girlfriend and I went last week and after reading the reviews on here (mostly 1 or 2 stars), we were a little worried as to how poor the stay would be. So with an open mind, we arrived and the staff were friendly and welcoming, the apartment we stayed in was clean and tidy with a decent shower. OK, so the cooker had seen better days but as we never actually used it, this didn't matter to us but I'm guessing that if we had, it would have done the job. The beds were OK, not the most comfortable in the world but we both had a decent night's sleep on them. Facilities were good with a Nisa shop on site and "BJ's on the beach" (Hehe) just across the road from the entrance so buying the necessaries wasn't an issue (if a little more pricey than your usual Tesco/Asda price which is to be expected) We used the apartment as a place to stay and were out and about to neighbouring towns during the day and as such, it was perfect but I could see that if you only stayed on site for the week, the entertainment would quickly become very samey. That said, what entertainment we saw was good and no complaints. The park is less than 10 minutes walk away from the amazing beach which stretches for miles and is well worth the visit while staying at this Pontins. Look, it's a Pontins so you shouldn't expect it to be like a Butlins but from our experience, it's not half as bad as some of the reviews on here make it out to be.

Hi all, we stayed one night at pontins, the accommodation wasn't the cleanest but I'd read the reviews and came prepared, thank god we brought our own bedding! I highly recommend u do too! So we had to check in for 4 — (we were told there that u can arrive that day any time and use facilities before checking in :-) ) the pool shut at 5 so once I made up the beds the kids were a tad gutted but we got ready for the evening entertainment and took ourselves to one of the many good kids play parks, the pizzas we had for dinner weren't great but did the job-evening entertainment was fantastic we enjoyed it very much and our children age from 2-10, the clown — he was hilarious! fun for all ages, next morning check out was 10 so we checked out and we went swimming which I had been expecting to be very poor but it was great the baby pool bit small but full of inflatables and so warm, the bigger pool have some little slides which the older children enjoyed very much and the life guard was very vigilante, he even told the kids off for trotting by the pool lol! Had a browse round the shop before we left which I was impressed with so much variety and there's a great bit section called pound zone which was fab for the kids pocket money! For £44 for the night we've had a lovely time it's not the grand hotel but there's plenty to do and it does the job x.

Am currently staying here with a guy with learning disabilities for a week for his holiday, arriving at the park was fine, greeted, checking in was a rush, 3 attendants for about 300 people checking in, was slow. The accommodation wasn't clean at all, I had to clean the kitchen, went to make a cup of tea for my guy only to discover that the spoons were filthy and there was no plug in sinks so making cleaning awkward. Found a dirty plaster and tissues behind the bed, there was no evidence of the place really having been cleaned as dust and bathroom was still dirty. Also when returning to apartment late on the first day I discovered that the electrics had ceased to work but calling on site security for maintenance was very professional and quickly handled. Entertainment was mediocre, the main entertainment hall was closed all week and only the smaller lunar bar was open and basically did a tacky computerised bingo for an hour and half and then children's show which would have a person in a costume come out for two songs to dance then it was disco for the kids, I would comment on the later entertainment but my guy was getting bored and tired, we've done butlins and combe haven before and they were far superior as he would stay up right to the very end. The blue coats were characterless and lacked any real enthusiasm. The food at the restaurant was very cheap, it was a buffet style but the food was somewhat dry and the general layout was messy and facilities looked dated.

We booked pontins on the sun holidays for 144 for half board 3 nights 4 days, reviews were astonishingly bad and the website looked great, we arrived and it was like a sea of gross people and all staff we came into contact with clearly didn't want to be there, we eventually got our room key and got in to our horror our bed was a pull out sofa that felt like stone it was leather and as I wiped it down black dirt was just pealing off of it there were pubes on the dining table all round the bath and the taps which was lovely brining two kids away and having to use that to clean them, my child instantly asked me to go home she didn't want to stay here, the next day we went to breakfast which was edible most of it anyway, there were no guidance to times that breakfast and dinner would be at so we had no idea when to arrive luckily made it just in time we planned to go straight to the pool after and we arrived to 6 people standing outside told us it wasn't open as they didn't have enough staff and maybe later it would be open my partner took my daughter to the park and I took my son back to calm him down my partner called me to see if I was ok and by this point I was in tears we'd paid money to be disappointed let down and frustrated that we came here to have fun and enjoy ourselves and everything was going wrong the pool later opened and we got to use it there were massive children in the pool running jumping in and out of it I have a 2 month old and a 2 year old and they are

Went last year out of season good for the price. Went last week over crowded. Toaster not working grill not working properly only half. Bed settee back 2 legs broken off felt like sitting on recliner chair mum 80year old could not get up out of it we had to pull her up. The bouncy castles anchors were sticking out of the ground and could hurt anybody tripping over them, where is the health and safety? Amusements more than half machines not working. Need more bar staff. £9.00 odd for pizza tasteless so hard on bottom broke a tooth. Sorry Pontin`s you will not be seeing our family again.

Absolutely disgusting. Accommodation is in disrepair and needs a thorough clean. Facilities are lacking in quality and prices are not good. The beach nearby is the only good thing, really good but nothing to do with Pontins. Complained to them and 48hrs later only the automatic acknowledgement arrived. Avoid this place if you value your sanity or hygiene.

HORRENDOUS… worst place I have ever been to and I have had a few holidays in the last 50 years, to be fair if the weather had been good I may have given it 2 stars as we would have been able to get off the site and go to the beach, Pontins need to update this place and get out of the 70's or even better knock it down, dirty accommodation, understaffed, terrible communication about activities (what there is), poor quality of food, no salads or fresh fruit but plenty of soggy veg, not every body wants to eat chips and pies, what food outlets there where often closed at lunch time. Hardly anything for the over 10's to do and what decent things there were you had to pay extra for. in fact the whole place is set up to extract as much money out of customers as they can get, charging for everything they can think of. The pool area was chaos and if the HSE had made a inspection, they would have shut it down, very dangerous and staff had no control. Pontins should be ashamed to call this a Holiday park, we had to leave early as I caught a stomach virus while there, probably from the disgusting pool or dirty tables in the bars.

As soon as I had arrived, I was super excited, but already the person guiding us barley spoke English. The parking lot was very full, but luckily I found more space around the corner. Even that was quite full… As soon as that was done, I headed over to the main reception to get my keys and settle in. Omg it was PACKED, and for the amount of people that must visit this place daily, the air conditioning was terrible, in fact, was there even any? After I had collected the keys, I checked my house. OK, first of all, the house was dirty, there was a sofa bed which had so much wood in it and dirt, one bedroom with two beds that had lumpy mattresses, you can't even see out of the windows For those of you who are planning to come here, no no no no no no no no no! Just go to Devon…

This place managed to be a lot worse than our own pessimistic expectations: — Door: the first time we entered our apartment and closed the door we got locked in. Lucky for us we live in a world of mobiles and managed to call security. After being rescued, we were told how it was our fault for deadlocking the door on our way in. They failed to notice that the lock itself was in such a deplorable condition as to allow the locked door to close. — Shower: cold water and we had to keep pressing the button otherwise water would not flow — Toilet: flushing was always a scary ordeal, with a constant manace of overflow since the water did not drain very well (or at all…) — Beds: they 'forgot' our included linen, we had to go all the way back to reception to remind them — Cleanliness: not very clean, but not visibly dirty either. Enough for us to try and avoid touching anything unless necessary. At least we now know what our standards are! If only they tried to focus their earnings in improving the accomodations instead of a new mock casino slot machine…

Absolutely disgusting site. You would be better off sleeping rough, using public toilets and then off to a good local park. We stayed 2 nights JUST for some cheap shelter in the night as we were a group of 21 people. We were mostly out and off-site. Fantastic beach though down the road (not part of Pontins). The security people on patrol at night have a huge chip on their shoulders. One of them was an absolute imbecile that we had to deal with. Never ever go there, even if its free!

We went to take the kids for a day out as we live close to camber and thought they would enjoy it. My wife checked the website and it said that kids were £2.50 each and adults £5 each we arrived and were rudely greeted by the gate man who told me to park at the side of the road so I could buy my day passes. I ignored him and parked in the nearby car park so my car was not blocking the road. I then went to get the day passes to then be told everyone was £5 for the day so for my family that's 3 kids and 2 adults =£25 and also my car would be £10 (my car was not entitled to use any of the facilities I must add) I went to pay with my card but then got told they only take cash which is crazy for such a big company. I asked where the nearest cashpoint was which was in the neighbouring shop but was not working. I asked where the next one was and was told it's in the main reception they then checked with each other to see if it was ok to let me walk to reception to get money out (if they had said no I would of been happy with hindsight) I walked to reception with my family sat in my car waiting in the the baking sun. I got to to the machine and it charged me £1.75 to withdraw money (penny dropped in why they don't take card payments now). I went back to the gate to pay for the day passes and retrieve my family from the car. We walked round to the inflatable bouncy castle area as my two youngest were excited to play on them.

We visited this month (17-20th) and I must say we all had a fantastic time from our little 5 year old son to 17year old daughter. U definitely get what you pay for. A cheap weekend away with the kids :) if I was to say anything negative. Yes the TV in the chalet is tiny, windows do need a clean, beds are tiny the decor probably could do with a litlle updating but we certainly did not go to sit inside the chalet all day. The entertainment was great, even 2different entertainment rooms to choose from, the kids loved the pool (they even have water sports in the evening) there was so much to do from pony riding, Lil jockies, golf, play in the massive sandy park (right next to the queen vic) go carting, bingo, trampolining, bouncy castles, breakfast with the kids characters and the kids loved the arcades and overall loved their time there and didn't want to leave. So we will be going back very soon :) P's if you are planning on going with your kiddies don't be afraid to get involved too many parents were just so quiet and reserved (yes we was the 1in the corner cheering very loudly for everybody who got up on stage for the talent comps! :D) don't be afraid to let your hair down and have a good time :)

I have been going to pontins in camber sands since I was just a kid and I can't help but love going there everytime. The drive there and the weeks building up to the date I am due there are so exciting. The room service isnt brilliant and could be better but the night time entertainment is really good and Id recommend pontins to everyone for you children, also because of the activities that they can do in the day. There is an amazing beach close by and shops so you can buy food, drinks etc for you and your family. Just a really good place to go on holiday to be honest.

Did a day trip for the family (kids 13 and 9) — hated every minute. Swimming pool is bog standard rectangle with small plastic slide bolted on the wide, pumped full of chlorine because of all the sub-5 year olds, who screamed constantly. Keg beer only. Nothing else to do — well, we did the pathetic mini golf twice does that count? — we even played a round of large chess. Looked at the go karts but those cost extra, needed to be booked, and had all broken down anyway. A couple tried to engage the 'crowd' with their Eagle Owl and its chums — they were friendly and cheerful but the tremendously strong wind and large gang of seagulls seemed to be putting their buzzards off their food. Zorb balls were on offer but a) cost a bomb, b) had to be booked too, and c) turns seemed to last about 2 minutes and consist of lying at the bottom of a giant pink ball crying. If I was slightly more heartless at least that would have given me a chuckle, as it was we decided to go home before the 'entertainment' threatened us — last week it was Scooch playing, so we didn't hang around to find out if this week it would be Englebert.

Would give zero stars, but have to put one to leave a comment. Awful place. Dirty run down drab accommodation. Swimming zone is just a normal swimming pool and not very enjoyable for small children, plus was also dirty and you have to walk through the showers to get to changing rooms. Very little activities for our 5 year old. Arts and craft consisted of some crayons and some paint with some photocopied colouring images. Movies on weekly planner was not correct. You have to ask or go find out when everything is open/closed as it's not on the information sheet. Queue to check in, get breakfast, get dinner, park your car, go on trampoline (which cost extra) and play golf. No Wi-Fi, tiny TV in room without remote. If you're thinking of coming, don't! You should go to butlins or haven as they are fantastic.

We always go for club chalets, its less rowdy. Its very cheap to stay here and the beach is beautiful. They used to supply bed linen in club apartments, now you have to buy them. That's the only downside. Off peak breaks are really good value and less noisy.

Well I must say we went to pontins for a weekend and things went wrong for us the apartment was not very good I reported this to pontins and I must say they bent over backwards to put things right we was given a weekend in the top apartment with half board and vip treatment and the manger amber was so helpful and kind so a BIG THANK YOU TO YOU AMBER MR T JENNINGS.

All I can say is awful dirty apartment, if you want a shower you cant have the cooker on. We stayed there for the weekend and friday morning at 1.30am was awoken by adults playing football outside the apartments as there are goal post outside the apartments, then there were people drinking and making noise the next night till 12pm, to top it all there was a big massive argument at 4am that lasted till 5am. Security was called on both occasions. After this we were then woke at 5.30am by a drunken, lady we left sun early eve as we spent most of our time on the beach. We contacted pontins and they only offered us 30% discount we said we wanted a refund and then they offered us 50% discount plus vip treatment, I wouldnt even stay here if it was offered to us free so why would we give them more of our money I DONT THINK SO PONTINS, the best holiday you can have it to stay at home as I ended up also waking up with bites sun morn, and ended up on antibiotics so all I can say is dont bother.

Me and my family went to Pontins, Camber Sands for a weekend 1 — They never put a double duvet/pillows in our apartment — we had go to security several times before they give us one. 2 — No bed linens — we went to reception and were told you have pre-order them when you book your holiday — we were never told that. 3-There was a nasty stain on one of the single duvets. 4-The TV had only 5 channel and the screen was too small to see from the sofa. 5 — The beds were really uncomfortable to sleep in. 6 we got woke up by dunking people shouting late at night come back from the club. 7-the sofa bed was worst to sleep on — uncomfortable and there was a big rip in it. 8 — one of the windows was broke so couldn't open it and the Kitchen window was filthy. I am not saying everything was bad about pontins. The swimming pool was great and the entertainer was good. If want a really great beach then check out Camber sands — Only a15 minutes walk from Pontins.

My family and I had booked a 5 day break at this Holiday camp, I would like to start with the positives — Children's play areas are good, my 2 granddaughters enjoyed them, that's all the positives. Negatives — the Chalet we had was No. 136, before we even got in the chalet we noticed a hole had been kicked through the front door, the number 136, was written in pencil! When we got inside, I am now at a loss where to start, I will start with the flooring, It was a lino covering which didn't seem to have been cleaned for an age, the granddaughters were running around with just socks on, within minutes those socks were filthy. The shower was functional, but once again you could not get out of the shower in bare feet, otherwise your feet would be filthy in no time. The furniture, once again was functional, but it was not very clean, we actually covered the sofa with a blanket, it was the same story in the bedrooms, the beds were very old, also the TV in the living area was ancient. The Indoor Swimming Pool is not bad, but It closes for a lunch break-12:00-13:00, then closes for the day at 16:40, I don't understand this as there are enough lifeguard's to be able to stagger their lunch breaks, and also to close a little later in the evening. Evening entertainment starts with bingo at 19:00, followed by the kids entertainment, of course while the bingo is going on there are load's of kids waiting for their time, the bingo caller has to keep asking for quiet while they're playing!

Our whole experience with pontins was a good one and our two daughters (12 and 10yrs) throughly enjoyed themselves. Very friendly staff and good basic food. The accommodation was basic but comfortable. The pool was great and for the money we paid we were pleased. Don't no why pontins gets such bad reviews. Very good value for money, strongly recommend half board.

The camp is dated, facilities, entertainment and equipment are old and have seen better days. It was so bad it became a joke. We had mould growing in the room and the toilet had not been cleaned before we arrived. On a positive note, the bed sheets were very clean and I felt comfortable putting by boys in them. The camp should be knocked down and started again. Worse holiday camp that I have ever visited and I have stayed in other camps and caravan sites.

Property is partially renovated, no room service, no cleaning in 4 days, reception: complaints will be ignored after 2 hours and initiative after arrival finally have a suitable key for our room, the Breakfast room, you have to by a casino accessible for children questionable.

Apartment partially renovated, other parts are still under reconstruction. Cleanliness leaves to be desired. Food for engl. Conditions ok. Borderline is the access to the Restaurant through the arcade, also Geldspielgeräte. Problems with matching Zimmertürschlüssel.
