Great location, good clean accommodation, and good price. We are less than 2 minutes from The Lanes and the main town. Plenty of buses if you want to go outside of Brighton area.

Close to Brighton Pier, great place for friends in shared rooms or they also have deluxe private rooms too without the bunk beds!

We had a lovely stay at Brighton YHA, in a beautiful spacious room for two, with en suite. A sea view too! Breakfast was lovely and the lounge was comfy. The best bit was how central the hostel is, a few minutes walk to the beach and pier, and a few minutes to the Laines.

Whats not ro recommend! Great city centre hostel/hotel. Wonderful historic building with YHA ethos Staff are great. It suits all tastes and needs from bunk rooms to hotel ensuites … single travellers to groups Backpackers business people groups of all kinds. Just one of the many all around diverse lications and buildings too England Wales and links in with Hostelling International too.

Absolutely amazing stay here at the weekend, clean and spacious, lovely friendly staff, great service, great choice of food and drink to buy at fantastic prices! Thank you so much.

Second stay here now. Lovely place, excellent location, well equipped and spacious dorms and private rooms.

Best all round value for money/quality/convenience mix you'll find in Brighton. Rooms are truly excellent for the money, staff are just amazing, decor fits the building and the place is spotlessly clean. Wifi a bit iffy and if you need silence to sleep ask for earplugs — it's on a busy road, back rooms are above the bus station and a night club, none of which prevent a great night's sleep if you are used to city living, if not, stay further out of town. Would definitely recommend and stay again. We managed to park right outside both nights of our stay, free from 6pm to 9am and you can pay for 2 hours by phone in the morning so you can have a lie in!

We found a MOUSE in our room! I’m disgusted, I spoke to the reception and they refused to do anything accept telling me to call customer services after complaining twice!

Brilliant hostel! Clean spacious rooms and toilets, nice chill area in the lobby, perfect location and friendly receptionist. Food is served 24hrs so great for getting some post night out carbs, only downside was the terrible pizza we had which was flavourless and chewy.

Perfect for what I needed. I was in a shared room, which was clean, had secure storage (is you brought a padlock), and a separate bathroom just for the dorm. I had used the luggage storage room during the day which was very helpful, and easy to use. They gave you a separate key card and door code for that as my room wasn't yet ready (I arrived well before check in). It was really warm when I went, so the staff had placed a fan in the room which helped with the heat. Communal areas near the entrance was well kept and cafe was reasonable priced.

It's a really nice hostel with great rooms and bathrooms. The common area is quite nice and everything is really clean. Some members of the staff are really kind and some other not the much. You have to pay for breakfast, for storage room… I can say I had a nice stay there. Oh! And can forget to talk about the location: amazing!

Brilliant location, price and fun with the kids. Great to have own family room and have stayed in the private en suite room too. Clean, modern and fantastic welcome from all of the staff. Great find in an otherwise pricey town, and supporting the YHA!

Great! I couldn't believe how nice and super spacious it was the bathroom in the private room.

Good location, adequate beds, shared rooms (from 6 to 10 people) and individual (more than double faces), you have to pay for towels and soap, in sharing room usually leave people in the early morning.

What a wonderful hostel to stay in Brighton! Happily affordable, a huge bed, sea views, excellent English/Continental breakfast (buffet), lovely interior design and very helpful staff. Town is within walking distance. The Pier is a 2-minute walk. The Royal Pavilion & The Dome are a 5-minute walk. Will certainly be my choice of stay whenever I come back to Brighton!

Very clean! Beds come premade which is a big plus. Linen also seemed to be fresh and each bunk came with a modern style nightlight. Staff were also very helpful and there are drinks and snacks available via vending machine as well as a kitchen that serves food. The hostel is in the city centre which boasts a massive selection of high street brands and local shops and restaurants and the pier is also about a 5 minute walk away. Great experience for the price!

Stayed in a double room for one night — great value for money in a great location. A modern, clean bathroom and comfy bed can be expected. Any additional items for the room (e. G. Shampoo, soaps, hairdryers etc. Were not provided).

Only tried the cafe area. Nice and spacious with friendly staff. Deals on coffee and hot drinks. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice place to get a drink or some food.

The Youth hostel in Brighton is ideal for a vacation or a getaway in England. The hostel is designed exactly according to the wishes of most people (remodels, designer style) and the furniture is in perfect condition. Some rooms even have a view of the sea and the pier. Indescribable time! Unforgettable.

Amazing cheap and feel free time with friends. But poorly service for ask detail of person and won't let me sign in about who is friends that I with, I have stay in bar room to wait and do nothing till 2 hours and sort it to book room. Bedroom it has few ruin wallpaper, carpet and wall has stain. But hope get better soon. Thank you.

Best Hostel dd Brighton but the most expensive too, well worth it!

Awesome, cheap but feels luxurious, huge room with gorgeous bathroom. Fantastic staff who couldn't be more helpful. Great for families.

A good dorm room. Lots of space to sit and meet people in a relaxed atmosphere. Good bar and breakfast and a perfect location in Brighton Centre.

Booked a private room with a large group of mates and can have no complaints. Clean, brilliant location and the cheapest we found in the immediate area.

Very good report Ecuador quality price, the staff is super friendly, the rooms spacious.
PS: Do not take pizzza they are to avoid.

Only real downside was the extremely slow internet speed. I was hesitating on whether or not to bring shampoo before arriving at night, and I regrettably didn’t, would definitely suggest doing so if possible/needed. Listing all the positives would take a lot longer.

Generally this a great yha. Friendly service. Great facilities. A little noisy on a Friday night. Very central. Easy access to the beach.

I book a lat minute room on a weekend! I've got an amazing room with 2 single bed! Got lucky for having this last available room on my own! Clean, smell nice and comfortable. The only downside was that on the night I was in, there are families on same floor as mine and their kids are running on the corridors early morning! I was woken up by the noise.

Would definitely come back, great value for money. Paid 40£ for a double bed room with ocean view, TV and bathtub. Interior isn't the most modern one, but everything is clean and neat.

Great location near to pier, town centre and shops. Only a few minutes from station. Hostel personal was really nice and a kitchen was well-appointed. But in our room we expected a towels and some little showergels and shampoos but its weren’t there. But in generaly We enjoyed our staying. Thank you ♥️

In the bathroom the floor was broken and the windows didn't go up but otherwise the stay was good.

Excellent location and very clean. Good prices for alcohol and breakfast. Unbelievably secure. Has ensuite bathrooms. Overall great value for money. Will be coming back.

Two nights here. Very comfortable for us as a couple. Probably also very suitable for parties. TVs need their channels updating, though. BBC Three hasn't been on the air for a year! The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Lovely room, staff helpful and friendly. Right near everything. A few niggles that could be rectified really easily. If they invested in a steamer grout on tiles and carpets could be deep cleaned without a load of chemicals. Some items weren't there for breakfast and had to ask for them but dealt with straight away. Definitely would use again or recommend.

Decent hotel at great location. If you stay at your own room not share, it's extra large with old fashioned decor. Apart from that nothing great about the amenities.

YHA has a uniformly high standard of accommodation and food, at least all the ones I have visited lately and I rarely give 5 stars but this one has it all — location right next to National Express, the town centre and the beach, a historic place stayed in by William IV and Queen Adelaide, high quality rooms with bath as well as shower and toilet en suite, good breakfast, helpful staff, great security — in fact I can't find anything wrong with it.

Night staff were quite offensive and room had seen better days HOWEVER, the morning staff cook etc were very welcoming and professional. I would highly recommend the breakfastit was really good. The accommodation was well situated near to the pier etc.

All right experience with some issues. Rooms are clean and the entire building has a historic touch. High Security standard due to many cardreaders and gates. Staff at the reception desk could have been more cooperative and friendly. We were unable to to control the temperature of the shower and the Wi-Fi is too slow.

Booked a single room, which was clean, in good order and had an en-suite. The room was far too warm, without any temperature control, meaning the window had to be open all night, which let in all the noise of seagulls and drunk screeching. However, it was only £40 so pretty decent.

This place is very nice and in a great location but DO NOT stay here if you are hoping to sleep. The room that I was in was facing the street and the window was broken so it did not close all the way. It was SO loud all night. I got no sleep all night because of this.

Great overnight stay in a double room with a fantastic view. It had just been repainted so we were given free breakfast tokens. Lovely helpful staff, and nice food and drink too. A brilliant stay, and would definitely come back.

Modern facilities in majestic period rooms. Best accommodation we have found in Brighton at this price point (and the next few price points above! ). Well cooked full English breakfast and fresh cooked pastries. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
A far cry from the massive drafty dorms of the 80s. If you haven't visited a Youth Hostel in a few years, go ahead and treat yourself. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Newly renovated old victorian style hotel and perfect location. Very helpful and frendly staff. We (55m/53f) stayed tree nights (Ensuite Double Private Room). Accommodation in front of the park and very close and the sea and the coach station. Most attractions in a very short distance. Not first class standard but clean room with good facilities. Furnishing practical. The English Breakfast was ok an rich. No restaurant but a bar with snacks and sandwiches. For younger crowd and nights might not be quiet in the sommertime.

Was not what I expected. Rooms are lovely; almost periodical! Very friendly with good facilities. Fantastic location for pier and nightlife. Would definitely stay again.

Excellant one night stay in a family room for 18th bday Rocky Horror gig. The room was clean, the beds very comfy, candlelit bar cute and so close to the sea front gorgeous xx keep it up and we'll be coming back in March.

Very friendly staff, newly renovated and perfect location. Can absolutely recommend it if you are on your own or with friends. Not so much for families since it does host a rather younger crowd and nights might not be quiet.

Renovated in 2014 while not fully renovated. It is the best choice in price and quality of the city.

We went to brighton yha with a person in an electric wheelchair, with hoist, manual chair, shower seat, etc etc. We were given a large room with plenty of space for equipment, near the lift, with a double bed as well as singles, and a large accessible wet room. It couldn't have been better — everyone was friendly and helpful, the cafe and the breakfasts meant we didn't need to cook, although we had intended to, and the ONLY drawback was that there were no disabled bays anywhere in the vicinity to park, so we got a ticket. But overall, thank you, yha, for making it possible for us to have a cheap holiday with someone in a wheelchair.
