Great place to stay. Bedroom clean and spacious and the bed was amazing. Continental breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Will stay there again.

We were charged just shy of £300 for 3 nights. Usually I wouldn't mind paying that sort of amount for 3 nights in a hotel/bed and breakfast but there were so many things that very much concerned me and upset me. So much so, that I have actually ended up with a list of things that completely ruined my weekend away: 1. The room we were given was disgusting. If you stay here, stay at your own peril. The bathroom was dingy and dirty, I ended up cleaning the sink and the shower myself with cleaning supplies I bought from Tesco. It didn't help much though as the shower was crusty and mouldy and the wall was cracking. The floor of the bathroom was also cleaned by me but still looked stained and filthy. Someone seriously needs to speak to housekeeping as, if there was 1 thing I would have liked in our room, it was a hoover. I sat on the floor to unpack my suitcase and there was crumbs, dirt and hair all over the floor and me when I stood up. The carpet also smelled like vomit. 2. I didn't request a nice view but I did expect more than I got. I wish I had taken a photo of what I saw from the window. Our view was of the grey, dirty roof and on top of the roof, lots of rusty, loud equipment including what I assumed to be a generator of some sorts? Across the roof, we also saw multiple barred up windows which were not very nice to look at and were quite unsettling. Not only that, the window hardly opened and the curtains were dusty and smelly. 3.

Initially had an issue with my room however Hali (I believe a manager — if not she should be) swiftly moved me into a much better room. The room was clean, fresh and and everything you’d expect. Haven’t had a night sleep yet not eaten but will update the review over the next couple of days.

Lovely steaks cooked just right. Really enjoyed the meal.

The inkeeper lodge is a stake house hotel no simple foods. Highly recommend staff are great all ways willing to help rooms nice and clean. Beds are the most comtable. Best I have slept in I give 5 Stars. I have stayed hear on many occasions also has Disabled parking bays plus rooms for Disabled. Thank You to all the Staff at this Hotel.

Comfortable hotel nicely decorated. Good continental breakfast & free parking. Excellent restaurant but the choice of non steak dishes is limited and no Specials on the menu to offer variety if staying several nights.

I would highly recommend this beautiful place and the staff are so very polite and helpful will definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay. The room was lovely and clean and warm when I arrived on a horrible night after a grueling journey. I had an amazing steak cooked to perfection with Beef dripping sauce on the side then had a great night sleep in a very comfy bed.
Thanks to Danny and the team for a very enjoyable stay and some great service.

Rooms were good with on suite bathroom shower was excellent. Breakfast what can I say! We had to wait 40 minutes for full English not worth the wait …

Upmarket lodge with excellent rooms, menus and helpful staff the only reason I could nt give 5 stars was that I was with my 2 young children and the menus were not really suitable for their age group (5 and 7).

We had a family room and stayed here for 1 night — we paid £79 for our stay which included a continental breakfast. There is a carpark with plenty of space and check in was straight forward and easy. Our room was clean and had enough space although it did have a slightly damp aroma to it. Our window looked out a wall that was below the carpark but it let enough light into the room. The bathroom was clean and some shampoo etc was provided if needed. I was impressed that the shower water remained in the shower as I often find the bathroom floor ends up soaking wet, however it didn't keep a constant temperature and my husband and I both felt the pressure could have been better. The bed was a good size and comfortable with big puffy pillows, the sofa bed pulled out for a bed for our children — they complained and said it wasn't comfortable and in the end my husband slept there, he said it was a bit springy! Breakfast offered a lot of choice of cereals/porridge/toast or crossiants with a selection of teas coffees and juices as well as a small selection of fruit and cereal bars, you could pay extra for a cooked breakfast if you wanted. This was in a good location for getting to central Brighton (about 15/20 minutes) and we would stay here again.

Room not very clean the shower is dirty and it smells not good at all it does not want to wash in.

Second visit here. Good food and service. Pleasant surroundings. Will be back I am sure.

Not very helpful at all. I was gifted an experience voucher for a night for 2 to stay at a hotel. Chose this hotel as its in Brighton and I wanted to take the wife and kids to Sea World. Rang to see if they could allow me to upgrade to a larger family room and then I pay the difference. Sounds simple enough! Apparently not, as the unhelpful lady on the phone just shortly said "we don't have that facility" and then didn't say anything else. No explanation or discussion about how we could make it work. Another classic example of a business turning down business rather than helping someone to be a customer. I have been to this hotel in the past with clients for meetings etc. For work. Wont' be going back! Update: after numerous emails to various people there they are still referring to T&C's as the reason for not allowing me to give them more money. I would understand if I was cancelling and looking for refunds etc. For a reason not to be helpful but I am actually trying to give them more money! still not having it. Strange business model if you ask me!

Only for the restaurant: perfectly cooked steak with a good sized side dishes. Staff were friendly just a little slow in taking the order considering the restaurant was quiet.

Great place for a family meal. All food was cooked well.

Good sized room, clean and comfy bed. Not such a clean room. Dropped black cap on the floor, came up very dusty!. Shower could do with a steam clean. Breakfast pretty poor, not a proper Continental breakfast, no English breakfast. Plenty of cereal though.

Lovely room. Comfy bed, shower good and nice and clean. Room has everything you need. Even a fan to keep cool. Right above a Miller and Carter, what more do you need? Would recommend.

It's usually good, nice food, good atmosphere, friendly staff here and there, look out for bonnie! Reason for lower rating, bad quality steaks last time and absent service. But usually great at both of these. Sadly haven't been back since!

Clean and comfortable. Well appointed. Good facilities. Great staff. Free parking. Will be back.

Nice place, friendly staff.

Place was dirty, sticky carpets, sticky tables etc. It was busy, but after 15mins of waiting to be served, we walked out.
