A father and daughter deluded, I caught your four in a Bed "performance" and what you said is 9 out of 10 of your breakfast turn out perfectly. But it just happens to be the day you're in a televised TV competition that the breakfast is a total shambles? You said yourself you had bought a piece of technology" an egg poacher" especially for the competition, that had failed you. But to poach an egg, all you need is a pan, boiling water and an egg… And if there's any technique to it you stir the water just before you put the egg in the water coz it helps keep the egg together. As Murray Goldberg would say… MORONS! Ps and no I've not stayed at your establishment but don't you realize the TV program is free advertisements for how you are and what sort of personalities on the establishment and what sort of service that you are going to provide. You wasted an opportunity to show that you were nice fair people and you completely blew it. I can't imagine how much money you've lost because of that TV show we're talking thousands of pounds. Because I've checked on other shows and commented on other hostels on the shows, and the ones that are turning a major prophets other ones that were honest they're fair paying and not pedantic when it comes to being difficult or doing stupid things at breakfast like two different types of eggs that you yourself cannot cook. Have you heard of karma?

Note to self, you get what you pay for. If you pay for a £60/night room, that's what you're going to get. Pro: — Relatively clean room Con: — No power — Tiny room — Trouble getting into self serve hotel — Concrete Building was VERY hot — Slow to respond to phone call — The pictures on bookings and other sites are a bait and switch At the end of the day, I don't have anything against the owners (I'm sure they are lovely people), but this establishment wasn't for me or my family. It didn't help that the sweltering heat infuriated my 5 month old child, to the point of level 11 freak out.

What a friendly greeting I got. Im staying here for a wedding that is five miles away. Now this place is not the Ritz but the customer service is great. I came here before 11am just to see where the hotel was in comparison to the wedding venue, a guy saw me waiting, I told him my situation and invited me inside, he checked my booking then gave me the keys to the room due to it being untouched the night before. He showed me to my room and I loved how clean it was. The bathroom is spacious and clean! I paid £44 for a twin room, that to me is perfect, one because it was cheap and secondly after the wedding, if my pregnant Mrs annoys me, she can sleep in a separate bed :). Room was pleasant and spacious. No air con in the room made it slightly uncomfortable.

Came here with my partner. Was not the friendliest of welcomes. Room BASIC food was poor a standard of meat. Definitely not staying here again. Yes we definitely stayed they and my partner booked. It so no you won't have my name. … may be not shabby. But basic that a better word BASIC. And bookers is not a quality butchers it's a cash and carry …

Handy for Cwmcarn MTB centre.

Very friendly rooms clean and comfortable and lovely staff.

Pleasant staff. Comfortable, tidy rooms with good facilities.

Had sirloin steak and chips, came to table on hot volcano rock. Let it cook til just right. Best steak in long time and stays hot as you eatHighly recomended. It was 2 for the price of 1. So good value.
