Amazing customer service but Hotel has issues. There is no air con at this hotel and the breakfast area for the serving bowls are cramped. The weather seems to be typically overcast but Hotel staff commented on complaints about lack of air con during the hottest parts of May, June and July. Rooms were clean and comfy and so we're public toilets. A good, reasonably priced hotel with breakfast included. Would definitely recommend hotel though location could be better. Ideal for walkers and outdoor activities. Also reasonably close to Cardiff, where prices would be considerably higher.

Standard HI Express with no frills. Small bar area with decent draft drinks, free breakfast with limited options, but good enough, and perfectly located to explore the Gower. On the negative side there is no aircon, so summer nights can be uncomfortable.

The staff were wonder in a very difficult situation they excelled and ability to go above and beyond was inspiring.

Hotel was very clean, but breakfast was a poor experience with multiple items going extremely fast before you got to it. Staff were friendly, but night staff were a little dismissive on helping to give directions to get food as the local pub a stone's throw away had nearly a 1h40min waiting time. It is a budget hotel, but it's very clean with a comfortable room.

Zero issues. Traditional Holiday Inn layout of room, more spacious then I expected. Room clean and tidy, no marks on carpets. Bathroom clean and tidy. Staff very friendly too. Would recommend.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is okay, nothing special, but it certainly wasn't bad. The hot choice consists of bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, beans and toast, whilst the cold options include croissants, muffins, fruit, cereals and yoghurt. Parking is free and plentiful, and it's quite easy to get to since it's located on a junction of the M4. It's about a 10 minute drive from the new Swansea university campus. Overall, a pleasant, no-frills stay.

Good place for conferences. Pretty basic but the staff are helpful. We only stopped at the foyer to look around and in the conference rooms. Bit expensive but adequate.

Perfectly acceptable budget accommodation with nice and tidy rooms. The food is decent and the staff are friendly. The side of the hotel facing away from the car park offers great views. Showers are nice and there are towels provided.

Standard Holiday Inn. Clean and well presented. Well equipped room, but shower could have been better. Bed ok. Breakfast was ok, though the most tasteless sausages I've ever eaten. Friendly staff.

One of the nicest Holiday Inn's I've stopped in. Room was very nice and clean. Wi-Fi was great. Only downside is the lack of wall sockets near the bed to charge my phone overnight.

We had 3 nights here. Rooms are lovely and clean. Everything you need including iron and hairdryer. Breakfast is very good. Hot and cold food. Plenty of it too. Very good value hotel.

Clean, decent standard. Polite friendly staff. Prices fluctuate significantly depending which day of the week you stay. Good access to nearby motorway of you want to get into cardiff.

Very very good service. Two examples, receptionist moved her car for me to park in a busy car park and, remembering that this is a budget hotel, when I ordered dinner on a tray to take to my room, they offered to phone me once my dinner was ready. The stars are for the service which makes this hotel. However, parking situation is very very bad.

Nice hotel with great breakfast buffet selection included in the price. Booked for 3 people in a family room but no bedding or towels had been left for the 3rd person. Had to pop down and ask at reception, staff were happy to provide but I would have preferred it in the room upon arrival.

Comfy bed, surprisingly quiet considering it's next to a motorway. Breakfast was fine but limited. Harvester next door makes a good dinner alternative to their bar food. Would be happy to stay again.

One night stay. Comfortable room with great en-suite with power shower. Good selection for breakfast hot and cold. Staff were all very friendly.

Lovely staff, great location for seeing both beaches and the Brecon beacons, comfy room and good breakfast. Only minor complaint is that the hotel was a little hot meaning we had to have windows open all the time and it wasn't that hot weather.

This is a lovely hotel great staff. In a great position just off the M4. Great country side you can get anywhere in South Wales from here.

Location is ideal just off the M4 Llandarcy. Bar restaurant area is vibrant and pleasant with screens for viewing. Great place for workers working away.

Nice clean rooms. Lovely mattress. Had a great sleep and a lovely breakfast with plenty of choice.

Reasonably sized room and bathroom. Motorway noise does not intrude when windows locked. But no air conditioning so a fan is used on hot days which was adequate on a 27deg day. Usual English breakfast items plus Moma porridge and veggie sausages offered if requested. On Sunday morning, breakfast room too small for volume of guests on this bank hol weekend. Harvester next door for evening meal.

The room, the service and the ambience were all good. My only problem was the noise of the traffic on the very busy road next to my room. It was difficult to sleep. I'll make sure I get a room in another part of the hotel next time, as I have had in the past. Breakfast is very good and the shower divine.

We stayed at this hotel w/c 13th of June. We were not on holiday as we were attending ABA therapy sessions in nearby Resolven with our autistic grandaughter. I cannot thank the staff enough for their help and their compassion in helping us with Daisy. All the staff were courteous, and helpful, but if I had to choose one it would be Jason. He totally understood the problems we have with an autistic child. We would really like to thank him for his understanding. Our room was beautifully clean and tidied immaculately when we returned. The breakfast was simple but plenty and again the staff were wonderful. Daisy has a tendency to throw things, we always tidy up but the staff were very patient. I can recommend this hotel, and I do not recommend lightly. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I would certainly stay with you again.

I love this place as Staffs very very friendly, it little not busy area, easy to access. Good restaurant close with hotel, room are reasonable cost. Since 2005 till today (march 2016) when came to work in Neath, my first choice is to take a rest here.

Cooked breakfast is poor, always left in the hot plates for too long. It was like this last year and still the same this year. Also my room door handle almost fell off. Other than that good location and friendly staff.

Good location for exploring elsewhere — Harvester next door (complimentary salad bar), as is a Virgin gym (if you happen to be a member). Neath only a couple of minutes drive for a great selection of restaurants. The Gower beaches and surfing half an hour away. Kids loved LC2 (leisure centre in Swansea) — wave rider, water slides, rock climbing. Great location for a fab weekend clean, friendly, and free Wi-Fi. Choice of beans, scrambled eggs, sausages as well as the full continental for free breakfast — fantastic value Sofa bed not as good as the double bed, but hey you get what you pay for. Will use again.
