We had the autumn afternoon tea for a party of 12. It was lovely. Would highly recommend. Something a little bit different. Plus they fully accommodated my allergies. Excellent service. 🫖🍰

Had a fantastic night in the grand hotel, due to no balcony rooms being available we were upgraded to a room with a hot tub and most definitely didn't disappoint. Food in the bar was amazing, definitely worth the price and the portion size was big. The staff was really friendly. Most definitely be booking again soon. ⭐

Recently had afternoon tea, once sat in the hotel & enjoyed so much, ordered a take away a week later. Stunning food & plenty of it. Takeaway afternoon tea just as lovely as dining in. Staff super helpful, Andrew in particular. Highly recommend!

Had my wedding on Saturday at hotel can't thank elanor and John and rest of staff couldn't do enough for us our rooms were lovley and clean breakfast was amazing of all hotels I've stayed at they breakfast has to be one of best also the food for my wedding breakfast and buffet were too notch had so many good comments so thankyou from bottom of our hearts xx.

Couldn't fault the room. But afternoon tea was a big let down. Dirty glasses, cups and fithly milk bottle. Savory food good but cakes were stale.

Watched the rugby in the bar yesterday with friends yesterday and the bar staff were amazing. Thank you for such a great atmosphere.

Myself and my daughter booked for the festive afternoon tea and we were not disappointed, from the moment we walked through the doors we were made to feel comfortable, staff member Andrew was amazing and so helpful, funny and lovely to my daughter (shes 8) Becky was very helpful nothing was too much trouble for any of the team

Had a fantastic evening last night in the Grand Hotel, celebrating our Anniversary.
From the Tapas in the Bar to cocktails in the hot tub, the staff were fab and very welcoming. We totally recommend the Queen suite.

Went to a wedding reception on Friday night. The venue was lovely & the buffet was really tasty & a good selection of food.

Very Helpful & friendly Staff. Just missing Welsh Cakes & Lamb. Will stay again.

We stayed here Friday — Monday. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. We booked the Deluxe with a balcony and spa bath. Facilities were great. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us out. What really topped it off for us was the food. It was absolutely phenomenal! We would definitely come back again, even if if was just for food. Beautiful!

We stayed in the king suite and it was comfy and well equipped. Hot tub on the balcony was a bonus. The staff are truly an asset to the hotel. In the room the bed was covered with balloons and petals and there was a bottle of wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and apple tarts. We had complimentary cocktails and cookies that was delicious too. We ordered room service and it was delivered quickly and one of the nicest meals I’ve had in a long time. Not long after there was a knock at the door and outside was a beautifully presented basket with hot chocolate and Welsh cakes all complimentary. Breakfast in the room was delicious hot and well presented. Check out pleasant and quick. Overall I would recommend this place if someone is looking to stay in Swansea or just wants an extra special night.

Went there today to celebrate my daughters 40th birthday with all the family. Amazing Christmas afternoon, with Santa for the little ones. An excellent singer. All in all a perfect afternoon. Thank you to wonderful staff x.

Had a Christmas lunch with 2 lady friends, the meals were exceptional, as was the service.
Superb value for money.

I found the staff polite but the noise outside the hotel was awful as the hotel is next to a train station. There is no parking, there is a multi car park next to the hotel which you pay for. You get a discount from the hotel, instead of paying £6 per day you £5 per day! wow what a discount. The is a loading bay outside also and that is terrible when they are loading/unloading for the hotel the noise will wake the dead. I dont think it's my hotel if I stayed in Swansea again.

Fabulous stay again at the Grand hotel! My partner and I have stayed here many times we absolutely love it! The staff are very friendly they go above and beyond to make our stay special. Great hotel and brilliant staff. Stayed here twice and will be stopping again.
On arrival we had balloons, wine, chocolates and cakes. We were then brought two lovely cocktails and a hamper later on in the evening.

We stayed at The Grand Hotel for a couple of nights get away. It came reccomended and I was not disappointed. We had a beautiful queen room (room 406) with a lovely balcony including out door furniture and a hot tub. In the bathroom there was a spa bath which is amazing! The staff were lovely and the breakfast was out of this world! We will definitely be returning.

I had the most amazing time in the king suite with my partner for his birthday! The effort from the staff was impeccable and the room was amazing. Staff could not do enough for you. We will definitely be back and would happily recommend to others. Thank you so much.

Absolutely blown away by the penthouse suite room 401. We had fabulous cocktails on arrival and a guide of the room. A free bottle of wine, chocolates and deserts. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, she told us she will be back at 8.45 for the turn down service including a hamper of waffles and hot chocolate. The hot tub was an amazing way to relax. Lots of special touches, like balloons, rose petals and pillow spray.
The bed was lovely and comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Love the bar in the Grand, itsit's a little oasis in what is a very busy part of the city, staff are alwaalways friendly and helpful, only one down side is the price of the alcoalcoholic drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but all in all a great place!

Great night my daughters wedding reception well organised decorated as we requested plenty of food & of good variety & quality all made for a memorable night thanks to all the staff.

This hotel is in a perfect location, the staff are very friendly, the rooms are spotlessly clean, would definitely stay again.

Rooms are big and spacious. Food is mediocre. The entire property, inside and around was very very noisy all day and night.

Nothing to say about the hotel and the pub, but the room we were assigned was a double not a quadruple, 2 beds had been blatantly added. 4 people in a room for two are very tight, if I make a quadruple I want a quadruple.

We loved it. The room was big and the bathroom was huge. No A. C. So open windows at night let in street noise. They are remodeling so there are a few issues with that. Bed was very comfy. Nice linens too. Food was great. Great value for the price. Location next to RER station.

Honestly, we can’t recommend this place enough. I had my baby shower in December (a gorgeous afternoon tea) and recently had my sons christening party held in a different suite and it was perfect. The rooms are lovely and the the staff were amazing. They couldn’t be more accommodating. They did everything we asked and were very organised, especially considering they had a few functions going on at once. Thank you so much! We will definitely be holding functions there again. Xx.

2nd visit to this hotel. Well appointed in Swansea. Undergoing refurbishment at present so not at its best. Some of the rooms are pretty small and not wonderful, however the staff make up for any disappointment you might feel over the luxury off the hotel.

Room and staff good. I was disappointed by the breakfast. Hard poached eggs, no bananas or nuts and the compote was mixed into the porridge.

Great hotel close to town centre. Room lovely comfy TV and hot tub was realky nice had a verranda too 2nd visit.

Lovely Hotel and Bar. We stayed here in between Christmas and New Year. The room was lovely room and comfortable. The price was reasonable and we would consider staying again.

Convenient location across from the station with parking nearby. A warm welcome on arrival. The room was an adequate double, clean and tidy. The windows don’t open and the air con is noisy so not especially comfortable, however the windows do their job in terms of shielding outside noise. I stayed on floor 2, noisy corridors as no carpet. As you’ll see on the pics the room and hotel is a little tired in places, could do with updating. Breakfast was fine, standard choices with a tasty Welsh rarebit option. For what I paid for an overnight, I’d say it was fine.

Very close to station. Nice size room with qeirky decor. Clean and tidy throughout and staff were present. Didn't stay for breakfast due to time but would stay again.

Just commenting on ground floor bar, not Hotel. Perfectly decent Swansea pub, with standard prices. Very handy for Station which must generate a lot of business. Welsh sports personality themed bar,. Just fine for a couple while waiting for train.

Great place to rest your head. Next tk rail station, but no noise. Plenty to see roundabout. Spotlessly clean and food great. Bar on premises as well.

Just to say thank you for a lovely breakfast today at the Grand Hotel a swansea. After a lovely welcome from Elenor at reception & Meg who served us our breakfast.

I paid £95/night and expected a GRAND HOTEL quality as many times before in my life. I travelled a world and spend lots of nights in Grand Hotels but nothing like this. It was a small UK double size room. The view was awful into a wall next door what need a serious renovation. Bathroom was clean at first view but afterwards the grouting between the wall tiles was orange and yellow from previous usage… So my summary is next time I will not going close to this "hotel". My expectations was 4/5*… reality was 1*. Premier inn will be much cheaper and comfortable size room. Any other way the staff was very helpful and kind. Location of the hotel is industrial.

Myself and my husband arrived for our anniversary and was very pleased from the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful and friendly. We booked a dulexe suite and did not disappoint we have a fantastic view of the town and room was spotless and the bath in the bedroom was amazing very luxurious the only downside is the bed was two singles pushed together my husband didn't sleep to well but I did. Town was a ten minute walk to the bars and shops. There was a mix up with afternoon tea but the staff brought us a plate with cakes on and a bottle of wine which was a lovely thought. Breakfast was amazing would defiantly return.

Service very good. Stopped by for afternoon tea before catching a train. Sky sports available for anyone who likes their sport.

My partner and I have had a few experiences here and there has always been friendly and welcoming staff, rooms are nice and facilities and good. However, every time we’ve visited this hotel there has been one particular member of staff who’s name I believe is Elinor who’s made our stay rather unpleasant. She is one of the women who work at the reception desk and every time we’ve dealt with her, she has been rude and very unwelcoming, almost as if it’s a pain to have to deal with us. Today she was sat at reception slumped in her seat leaning her face on her hand sorting out our check in. The attitude she had towards us was totally unnecessary, as if we’d interrupted a very important lunch break she was having. We felt as if she was being quite belittleing towards my partner but was actually very polite and smiley for another customer picking up their bag. And then attitude again when she came back to deal with us. Would love to know what the difference is between my partner and I and the other customers. As the face that greets new and existing customers to the hotel, she certainly made us feel like we weren’t welcome and because of that, we won’t be coming back anymore. Some kind of customer service training should be offered to this particular member of staff, as she currently seems to have none whatsoever.

Plenty of comfortable seating. Good service. Reasonable prices.

Room was very clean, staff were friendly to us all the time and housekeeping wasn't intruding like some other hotels can be. Good amount of plugs for electronics and parking at the side was very easy to get to.

We stayed for a belated anniversary celebration, the hotel was very accommodating, we had plans to go to see a show and was not going to be staying in the room much after check in. They held the "extras" until we returned later in the evening which was a surprise for the wife. We stayed in the penthouse suite room 401 the room was excellent as was the hot tub on the veranda. Would recommend to anyone!

An excellent, stylish hotel right next to the train station. Excellent, clean, modern and very well equipped rooms. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The restaurant is lively and vibrant without being too hustle and bustle with great food and drink at reasonable prices. The hotel itself, although a little on the expensive side was well worth the money and I would definitely recommend to friends, family and colleagues. Easily worth 5

Great location next to the train station and relaxed atmosphere. For a central location it was fairly quiet. The art deco styling is in keeping with the building and the restaurant menu is a cut above.

Friendly, professional staff. Nice room, excellent city central location.
