I stayed here for a one night stopover and was very pleasantly surprised. What an excellent find The Mountpleasant Inn is. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and cosy with tea/coffee making facilities big en suite shower with big fluffy towels and a great stock of toiletries. My bed was extremely comfortable and I slept like a baby. The establishment is tardis like with the inside seeming to be 3-4 times the size of the outside. Hot tub, small gym, a nice spacious seating area and a wonderful outside terrace. The valley was shrouded in cloud during my stay but I am sure the view from the terrace would be beautiful in sunshine. Breakfast was tremendous and I will definitely be using it again as a base when visiting S Wales on my frequent trips.
Comfortable and clean with helpful owners. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
