Warm welcome friendly staff lovely food parking to side of place, lovely for meals or small groups, accomodation aswell 2 minutes from bryn back park.

Really friendly people owners and customers. Food is lovely all fresh and homemade. Good atmosphere made welcome. If I go back to South Wales I would go there,

Very comfy bed, the room was ideal for my overnight stay. Friendly hosts, good food, and a very good price.

Information on booking. Com. Advised I would be travelling and arriving late and advised of a time and on arrival it was all locked up. I contacted the mobile number on the site to be advised that she was at home now. Apparently was unaware of the booking made on booking. Com Room was full of cobwebs and cold. Decor outdated and damp on the wall.
Breakfast was just warm, not a friendly welcome. I booked w double room only to be told I was having a twin room.
Positive outcome — the bathroom was clean and up to date.

Just had a lovely meal there… welcoming friendly place.

We received a wonderful welcome, our evening meal was great and full breakfast was amazing. Room cosy and clean. All in all a perfect stay.

Nice friendly pub with a good atmosphere, log fire in middle of pub which make it a centre piece for the pub. Food is excellent, I recommend the steak sizzler.

Warm welcome with a real log fire. Great beer and a tasty carvery on sundays for a proper fill up. Highly reconmended.

Stayed over for the Anthony Joshua fight in Cardiff. Really friendly owners (helped us with advise on bus and train runs), pleasant room and a great breakfast. Spot on. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Very poor. Room was disgusting with mould in shower. Will not be staying there again.

In all my 15 years of b&b hunting I have finally found the holy grail, the gold at the end of the rainbow, the Prince of Wales in is, not only visibly pleasing but also had the best service I have come accross.

Nice friendly inn, with clean rooms in a small village. Good food is available at the inn.

Nice friendly old time pub great food good entertainment and good family room also views to die for also let's you run a tab at the bar nice and close to local attractions great history on the walls I would aggre with all the good comments posted would def stay again as well as bar meals there is a separate restaurant well laid out good parking and well lit at night also breakfast well what can I say delicious!

Lovely warm welcome from landlord. Food great. Homemade chips! Excellent value for money. Room could do with a refurb. New TV needed.

Nice cosy bar, full of old collectibles with a pub theme. Has a good pint and a decent bar meal with real chips!

This has to be listed as one of Wales Worst Place to Stay! If Prince Charles knew this place had used his name he would abdicate! The landlady is so unfriendly she makes you feel unwelcome. The room I was given was so bad I refused to even put my overnight bag inside. The bed was a 1950's Hospital Reject! it was 4'6" wide with a 4' cheap and nasty mattress on top of it. The wall paper was hanging off the walls, the fitted carpet was smaller than the room so they pulled the bed over it, the wardrobe fell apart as I opened it. The dust had been there since Lord Lucan made his great getaway, I know this as his name was written in the dust on the window sill. Outside, every plant pot was filled with 'dog ends', the hanging baskets had committed suicide and chucked themselves all over the paving. There was a fridge outside one room, clearly dumped there after it failed,,,,, it still had mouldy food inside it! I asked the landlady if this was really the room she wanted to offer me? Her answer was yes, whats wrong with it! as I pointed out the issues including the spider inside the drinking glass she openly said proudly… we have never had any complaints before! I must at this point say that I am a retired Michelin Hotelier. I never mind where I stay… but this was beyond a joke! This place doesn't need a face lift it needs pulling down! The breakfast was as far from edible as you could even imagine! White bread that looked like it had been zapped by a hair drier as toast.

Very friendly and welcoming, with cosy and comfortable rooms.
Food was delicious both dinner and the very hearty cooked breakfast which set us up brilliantly for our day of hiking.
Very modestly and honestly priced for both meals and room given the lovely service and hospitality we received.
Highly recommend and definitely will be returning thank you Prince of Wales :)

Had a lovely one night stay here, wanted to stay another night but they were booked up : — (spent a lovely evening in the pub, great food and lovely company. Great breakfast. Will be back.
