We visited for the 1st time today & had an outstanding meal. Staff were friendly & couldn’t do enough for you, social distancing procedures were on point & the food was beautiful. Would highly recommend and we will definitely return sometime soon!

Had the Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. Excellent quality of food, fresh produce and great taste. Most of all I am full to the brim! :) the staff are very friendly and polite, communication was transparent and very easy to deal with. They also take into consideration the social distancing measures to ensure people’s safety and theirs. For anyone who wants proper home cooked Sunday lunch I highly recommend you get to the Cross Oak and try for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Excellent value for money. Food was dry and tasteless. I had a monster mixed grill, asked for my steak medium/rare and it came out well done, dry and chewy, and all of the other meat was terrible. Only food on plate that tasted fresh was the egg and chips. Other than that, It was absolutely terrible for the price I paid. I will not recommend too anybody. I won't be returning anytime soon.
P. S Even the pint was terrible.

Beautiful meal at the cross oaks and excellent staff making sure everything is to your liking I had the homemade chips with my meal but after tasting the sweet potato chips off a friend I would definitely choose those on my next visit and the Cajun chicken was delicious.
