Great little place with a lovely loch out the back I would definitely recommend that people stay they as I am planning to do so again next November, it is also near many nice places.

About 10 miles from Killin along the Rob Roy Way, we found ourselves at the Ardeonaig Hotel. It was an oasis! We popped in for a quick pint in the small and charming pub. The two young bartenders were very welcoming and had a great sense of humor. They also recommended a cider for my husband who was wanting to try something different, while I had their house lager. Both were lovely. I needed to use the restroom before leaving and felt bad I was wearing muddy hiking boots as it was just gorgeous. They told me it was of no concern as they often entertain hikers. After finishing our pints, we sat outside at a table and enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings.

Loved the setting and hotel. Has the potential to be fantastic despite its remoteness. Totally let down by the lack of tv, no Wi-fi in room. Bar has no draught lager or beer only bottles. Dinner was awful so much so refused to pay for it. Four spoonfuls of soup for £5 and some risotto rice and raw veg for £11. Breakfast was fantastic in comparison with a great freshly made choices. Room was nice but shower grout needed bleached and roof of room water stained but otherwise nice. Good range of tea and coffee in room with tablet and biscuits. Nice toiletries too. Manager was very helpful and apologetic about dinner which we were not charged for. Could be great even just offering basic pub grub as by the time you get there you will be hungry.

Just back from a two night stay at this fantastic hotel. The staff are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in one of the pods which was beautiful tranquil and peaceful. Dinner & Breakfast was yummy would definitely return again.

We have just had a fantastic stay we loved it staff were excellent the hotel was fantastic.
Our dog got 5*service dog bed, bowl and buiscuits in our room and were we ate as well
which was a room next to reception which we loved as very comfortable

Road was much better that I thought it would be
So peaceful, bed was so comfy we slept like logs
Loch was beautiful well worth a walk down too.

Very nice hotel, we had a great time but it is extremely isolated. However, the library upstairs is fantastic for reading and enjoying a dram whilst watching the sunset.

Absolutely terrible place I was there 6 hours no more and drove back home with my 6 year old. No TV no phone to call reception for drinks ect… The menu is a disgrace. If you were hungry don't go here no meals at all… Everything was weird and not good at all. Really need to make a lot of changes.

Amazing bothies it the gardens that are a huge feature for the place. The place is quite remote, disappointed there is no cooked breakfast provided and no eavning meals only sandwiches and lite snacks. There seems no real management structure with no cook and staff being unsure of themselves. I feel the place runs at maby 30% and could do so much better.

Extremely disappointing. Restaurant is a canteen, no cooked food served, no kitchen team, pathetic menu, overpriced, poor service. This place is clearly on its knees. We will never return.

Nice enough room with a view of the grounds. Comfy bed with good coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom was large and nicely decorated but could have been better designed and cleaned. There was flies and cobwebs around the ceiling, the toilet seat was uncomfortable to sit on and the sink design meant the tap only just hung over the bowl so you could hardly get your hands under the water and it splashed everywhere. Not quite worth the money they ask for.

Wonderful location, friendly staff. Did find the room a bit cold and being offered to light a fire with only logs and firelighters was a bit tricky so went walking for twigs to get it going. Then not enough logs. But I would recommend.

We enjoyed a superb weekend break at this fabulous little hotel. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Alan who took the time to show us to our room and around the hotel, and gave us all the relevant information we would need for our stay.
The hotel itself is spotless with well thought out decor making it feel warm, cosy and inviting with a very friendly and relaxed feel. We instantly felt at home and welcome.
Our room (called Killin) was in a converted cottage within the hotel grounds and it was fantastic. Although only a few seconds walk from the hotel, you felt like it was your own little place. We found it was like a mini apartment as it was so spacious, it boasted a very roomy bedroom, small decking area with patio doors and a large bathroom with both walk in shower and free standing bath. All which were immaculate.
The best part about the room (apart from the super comfy bed! ) were the amazing views from our patio doors and windows of the loch and surrounding hills — utterly breathtaking.
We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the 3 course meal we both enjoyed was faultless, as was the service from the lovely young men on duty — throughout the evening they were attentive to our every need, polite and friendly.
Breakfast was superb with a nice choice of dishes and the portions were very generous to the point my husband commented that there was nearly too much smoked salmon on his plate!

It's severely lacking character. The manager Paul Popper kept me up all night with a sore head. This was due to him putting the heating on too high. Terrible, won't be back.

Stayed here twice; delightful both times. Beautifully appointed rooms, lovely scenery and excellent food. Absolute favorite.

On looking at their website I was extremely excited and looking forward to my 2 night stay at this hotel, and on arrival the hotel looks fairly nice. Our room got changed last minute with no explanation and when we arrived in the room there was one disappointment after another. Not sure if this is because we booked last minute. Room was warm and stuffy, every crawling creature god created was creeping about the room including a massive spider in the bathroom. Cobwebs and rotten wood… it just got worse! Who is orchestrating the house cleaning! Woke up in the morning to condensation dripping off all windows — very unhygienic. Breakfast was fine. No Tv's in any rooms. This hotel does not warrant a 4 star rating as advertised on THEIR website, however it does have the potential if it was run under the correct management as it is clearly neglected. I would have liked to have seen their rooms that reflect their website so be careful when booking this place.

Images I saw on website were not representative of what I got. The small room was stuffy with areas in need of repair and cleaning. Wi-Fi was excruciating slow, way over priced for what I got. Nice area. Nice looking building and entrance and down stairs looks nice but room was easy below par, won't be back. No TV and abysmal Wi-Fi left me with nothing much to do other than ask myself why this place costs so much. Very angry.

Amazing location, top notch service and amazing food. I only with we'd booked more nights.

Had an awesome time up here. It was that good I forked out another £150 for another night. It takes a lot for me to say a place is worth £150 per night but this really is. They made us feel extremely welcome and went above and beyond to make sure me and my family had the best time possible. Every member of staff was on form and superb. The rooms were pristine and had amazing view when waking up. The showers are amazing. The food well that was on another level. I had a steak and it was awesome. You could tell it was a fresh cut. I would go as far to say local it was that fresh. It was cooked brilliantly to my liking. Medium if you want to know. I have nothing bad to say at all about this place. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and went out their way (including the owner). The rooms/huts were clean and laid out perfect and the food was something else in the best way possible. Thank you and we will be back. This time without the kid and baby. Sorry Leanne TJ will not be coming next time. Alan get the steak ready.

We visited this hotel many years ago and would have thoroughly recommended it to anyone. Sadly, it has now changed ownership and our most recent stay can only be described as a 'catalogue of errors'. Most disappointingly, the quality of the food and wine has dropped significantly — in fact we left our dinner almost untouched and the service was verging on appalling, with excuse after excuse. We left as quickly as possible and will not go back. We have since invited the new owners to discuss and this offer has not been taken up.

Absolute wee gem. Dog friendly, luxurious bothy, amazing staff, delicious food and fantastic views.

Averagely cooked food, very small portions, one scallop the size of a pound coin for starters. Chicken dish was a 3rd of a breast with small lollipop leg. Veg dish was potato terrine served on mashed potato and was undercooked. Ended up driving to Anstruther for fish and chips from The Wee Chippy.

Pricey but AMAZING views out of the back of the hotel. Really worth a night there to wake up to that view.

This hotel is decent with beautiful views but is let down by a few things: — noise / accoustics: the walls and floors are so thin that you can hear the adjoining rooms every sound. It's an isolated hotel so people are looking for some peace and quiet, and yet you can't sleep in because of the noise. — isolation: you're pretty far from anywhere (and the road is single track with some nutters that can make it a hair raising experience), you may as well stay in one of the towns at the end of the loch given the point above about noise — food: trying much too hard on this front, if they're going to do absolutely tiny portions, it had better be good! And it's really very average. The staff are nice though and the views are spectacular.

Stayed for a couple of nights in the furthest Bothy from the main building. Room was lovely, warm, clean and modernly decorated, but there was no TV nor Wi-Fi signal. A radio or Bluetooth speaker system would have been nice to play your own music through. We had dinner in the restaurant one night which was expensive considering the portion sizes, but delicious nevertheless. Breakfast at the hotel was really good, with each ingredient of the full Scottish breakfast being delicious. Staff at the hotel were very helpful, and apologetic for an error with our booking but swift in rectifying the problem. All in all a very comfortable stay.
