Having lovely stay at The Kenmore. Our room is huge and just been refurbished. Ate in the restaurant last night and dinner was lovely. Staff where very friendly and efficient and we where served promptly.
The covid regulations are covered to the letter we had our temperature taken on arrival and when we entered the restaurant before dinner and breakfast.
Would highly recommend.

It is a lovely hotel. We had a lovely room. The food was very good and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Just home from a lovely night away, we were in the veranda room, just stunning, and the views really topped it off.
They have a one way system throughout the main part of the hotel with clear signs, temperature taken on check-in and when entering the restaurant, plus plenty hand gel, was reasuring to see they were taking all precautions to protect staff and guests during these challenging times!
Lady on reception on Saturday was lovely, nothing was too much hassle.
Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic, perfectly cooked steak. Can't wait for our next stay.

Spent two nights in the Ben Lomond Lodge which was just like home from home. Beautiful scenery and lots of walks for our dog. Weather was definitely on our side for our stay to be able to get out and about. Hotel staff were very friendly, would definitely be back for another visit.

Lovely place. Well stocked bar, nice food, open fire and stunning views.

Staying here just now for two nights. Staff friendly and food ok. Make sure you bring your own soap as none in the bathroom and we did ask for some at reception but no joy. No tumblers in the room so had to ask the bar for some so we could have water in the room.

Beautiful place! Comfy beds, friendly staff and clean. Nice and cosy feel with the fireplace at reception. Really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back when the weather gets better!

Bar staff are fantastic, cater to both human and canine customers. Special shout out to Kieran and Michael who changed our minds and we stayed all night. Xx.

Had a fantastic relaxing weekend at Kenmore hotel. Exactly what we wanted and needed. So friendly staff. Lovely food. Very cosy comfortable bedrooms. Plenty areas to sit and relax and nice bar area too. Although our weather was rubbish the views and outdoor seating is fantastic. Loved it and can't wait to go back. Thanks again.

Fabulous old original building, full of character. Helpful fabulous staff who were more than happy to look after your every needs. Good choice of gin at the bar! Great food, lovely riverside view & very much a relaxing place to spend time.

Front of house reception staff are wonderful and warm and upgraded our room. Badly let down by bar staff who are disinterested, disengaged and rude. Watched three people get turned away for food as non resident and staff issues on a quiet night. Our food was overpriced and undercooked and cold. Area is magnificent but hotel clearly has a few issues to sort or risk going under.

The food was aweful as was the service. Food was cold and waited an hour to get food after taking the order. (place was not busy) better service at McDonalds.

Only popped in for a beer but bar very clean and prices were Superb probably book a room next visit.

Great venue for a wedding with hotel and cottage accommodation. Superb scenery and yes the weather has been sublime.

Michael is a wonderful friendly bartender. We went back twice to see him.

Staff friendly, very relaxing. Had a huge corner bath, would have been nice to stay in the hotel but the lodges were fab and quiet too. Very dog friendly which is a must! Not sure if u can take he dog to the dining area with you though.

We loved this hotel. No, it is not a brand new facility with all the latest features, and yes it did take us a few minutes to figure out how to make the hot water work on the second floor. But the charm of the place for us is that the original building and rooms are hundreds of years old. The staff were very friendly and responsive to all our questions. And the location is a spectacular jumping off point for exploring the many local points of interest. We hope to stay there again sometime — this was one of our favorites of the many hotels we visited while in Scotland!

Fantastic weekend/summer holiday hotel or book one of the luxury cottages from a two bedroom to a 4 bedroom with TV in ever room on suit bathrooms beautiful Highland scenery, on site restaurant, Castle entrance on the grounds & the beautiful lock Tay. Also places that are just 10min drive away. I highly recommend it & would definitely go back!

Plumbing on top floor room is poor. Nice traditional pub with original Robert Burns poem written on wall. Within 15 minute walk of Crannog exhibit on Loch Tay and Taymouth Castle and walks.

Beautiful old buildings but with stylish modern interiors. Quaint little village setting in stunning scenery.

Lodges high-end and ideally located in a very scenic part of the Scottish countryside. Not cheap! Local amenities are close at hand. Walking distance into Kenmore which hosts Scotland's oldest pub (Burns spent time here) and a small but well-stocked post office. Taymouth Castle estate also at hand for some incredibly scenic walks. Loch Tay also boasting some tremendous panoramas.

3 star country Hotel in quiet rural countryside, have slept in transit one night there the rooms were I. O.
Breakfast buffet and Shottish breakfast all in all good.
3 stars go by country category I. O. Behind the hotel is a large meadow directly on the River Tay with a kind of boat dock. In the neighbouring village Aberfeldy is the famous distillery. From the hotel a nice way to Taymouth castle is about 20 min walking Time.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast in buffet style not in the best quality, cheap orange juice from the Tetrapack, scrambled eggs from the ready mix in a huge breakfast room which is very noisy, bad coffee and overall very unloved.
The room very large and also nice, however the bathroom in its furnishings from the day before Yesterday.

Cosy hotel with nice rooms although some in need of updating a little, great views. Good bar & restaurant with friendly staff. Would certainly stay again.

Very nice lodging. The room was one of the best of our trip. Heated floors in the master Bath. Pull out beds upstairs were comfy. Beautiful location. Wishing we had more time to relax and play board games here.

Great hotel which we have returned to on numerous occasions. The last time we stayed in one of the rooms across the road from the hotel which was in desperate need of an upgrade but this time, we were in the main hotel and can't fault the room at all. Poet's Bar is always a great place to be and the Grill Room is a lovely restaurant. The only downside is the breakfast doesn't really cater to vegetarians. Just a side note however, when we were leaving breakfast to head back to our room, we stumbled upon guests and what we presume to be managerial staff having a debate at reception. I have no idea what the issue was — it sounded like a dispute about payment — so can only comment on what I observed but the way the members of staff were speaking to the guests was appalling. I've worked in customer service for a while and if I ever spoke to a customer like that, regardless of how difficult and insulting (I've dealt with my fair share) they're being I'd be out of a job instantly. For the sake of the other guests and your job, please learn to keep your cool in trying circumstances when it comes to dealing with customers. Also, if possible, take customers who are having an issue into a private room to avoid tainting the experience of other paying guests. Aside from the awkward encounter, we had another amazing stay and will no doubt be back again the near future.

Went here for a wedding. The hotel has magical views at the back, friendly staff. Drinks were reasonably priced. Food was quickly served and good quality.

Just fantastic beautiful and a joy to be here The Staff are out of this world nothing is a bother and they smile and welcome you all day every day. Would recommend a stay to anyone.

We were there for a wedding using a preset menu. Adult food was good, but children's menu is somewhat lacking more than different variations on grilled cheese toast. The staff is very attentive and sort any problems very quickly.

The scenery is beautiful. It is a very relaxing setting. The lodges are luxurious and very comfortable. You have the added good food from the restaurant.

Beautiful setting, lovely town. Helpful staff, decent enough food in the Grill Room, where we ate as part of deal. Good whisky selection in bar. Slightly sub average buffet breakfast. Room 16 boiling hot, couldn't turn heating down, & quite noisy air con outside window.

Been regular guests for over 10 years. Love the ambience of the hotel, the character and just the general historic feel. We always accepted the rooms as they were which are tired and various other compromises in exchange for a relaxing experience in front of the fire, however, we were quite shocked at the increase in the bar and food charges. £8 for a glass of wine is excessive. £15 for fish and chips is excessive… unless it is exceptional and, with respect, it's not. Breakfast is not great either. Buffet style and not hot. Luke warm breakfast is just deflating. Plates are not heated. I can't say how disappointed I am at writing this. Staff are friendly though. Christine and Oscar in particular.

Basic nt quite worth the mny for the stay not alot for kids to do, had to leave the bottom bar at 8pm, had to go else where for food as didnt do a kids menu.

Absolutely beautiful views and food, definitely a must if in or around the area.

Stopped at the Kenmore for lunch and drinks. Bar staff were attentive and helpful. Drinks selection was OK, food was quite good. The bar at the back of the hotel was a little small and dark but ample seating was available outside.

Excellent service at the restaurant and excellent food. Great location out the back of the restaurant able to sit by the river in the sun.

Excellent place to stay. However let down by properties only having one key between five rooms.

We stayed in the executive double room with veranda didnt expect this but was amazing views were beautiful looking over the water. The meal in the grill room was good staff were good great table service and couldnt fault anything about our stay would definately recommend The Kenmore hotel to anyone.

The location is perfect, situated right next to Loch Tay.

Beautiful rural hotel and restaurant bar. Friendly staff, outdoor seating in the summer months, and decent snacks to enjoy with your beer after a long walk in the Perthshire hills.

Lovely village especially in summer. Great place to take the dog.

Went for food here. Received 2 undercooked haddock. Batter was all gooey. 4 of us spending £200. mentioned the haddock. charged full price — £35. very very shabby.

Love the friendly people here, and it's great beer.

Stayed overnight with a mate as a lodge stop. Lovely food. Friendly enough without being false. Service was a little low key but I don't really like people falling all over themselves to be helpful. Waiters were a little slow and eclectic but added to charm of the place. Nice setting. Honest, if left behind a little by the modern service industry (not necessarily a bad thing) I liked it and would stay again.

The Kenmore Hotel is located in the middle of the town of Kenmore on Loch Tay. We just stopped quickly for lunch. Quality of food was good (one of the best chicken liver paté in Scotland. ) and price is appropriate. Service is scarce. After 15 minutes we were sitting at a table and waiters were just ignoring us, we managed to find out that we have to order food at the bar. Waiters were in general quite uncommitted and most of them spent time talking to each other rather than working, but the bartender was nice and brought us the food (although we had to wait till he had the time to leave the bar — he seemed to be the only one on duty there with more than 20 customers). Otherwise you need to wait at the bar until the food is ready and bring it to the table by yourself, getting through two doors if you go outside. When you pay you don't get a receipt until you really ask for it a couple of times. Kenmore is a nice place to stop by for lunch, but not if you are in a hurry.

AVOID AT ALL COST Stayed in annexe room 29 on 9 May. Overall very depressing building, shabby and not at all welcoming. The twin beds where worst I have experienced in a long time and matresses in great need of renewal, Overlooking back yard adjoining building.
