Weird experience. Had the door chapped at silly o'clock at night asking us to stop talking incase anyone complained. No complaint had been made. We are a middle aged couple chatting. No tv. No music. No arguing. Just chatting about our day! Only go here if you plan to sleep alone!

Cozy rooms & wonderful breakfast, close to Dundee railway station.

Well-situated clean and quiet hotel right on the banks of the Tay. The bed was comfortable and we both had a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, it was very good value.

Been staying here over the last few months and it has become a real home from home. It's unfair to highlight one member of staff as Cheryl, Lyane and the rest of the team are brilliant, but Fraser has stolen the show. Cheryl you're team is an absolute credit and example of customer service at its best.

We chose this hotel because it's next to the train station and city centre. Staff was so so friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome! The breakfast was perfect like in other Premier Inn hotels, good choice of warm and cold, hearty and sweet things, and a perfect view on the river! The absolute best was our room with river view, comfy bed and great bathroom, unbelievable that it wasn't that expensive… As Dundee is such a beautiful city, we'll definitely come back!

The family room was slightly smaller than usual but other than that it was great. Great view of the Tay River. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You have to pay for parking but was only £3.00 per 24 hrs. Premier Inn need to provide printed instructions for the parking meter process. The breakfasts were as usual… Fantastic. Would recommend and visit again. Thanks.

1 month after staying here we got a final notice for parking in the hotel car park of £85 and £160 if not paid within 28 days, thing is we had a ticket on the window … luckily we still had the ticket in the glove box and managed to cancel the fine but folks please keep your tickets for a couple of months or you won't be able to prove you paid. This is a scam and the hotel need to ditch the company Local parking security LTD as they are hoping you throw away your ticket and you have to pay them the fines.

Few days in dundee with my 84 year old mum. Staff in hotel excellent very pleasant and couldnt do enough for us. Rooms are lovely and beds fab. Food fantastic in restuarant and the most amazing staff. Had a lovely break would certainly recommend.

Excellent location for centre, station and airport. Very cheap. Clean and tidy.

Great Premier Inn, had room overlooking the Tay, absolutely beautiful, very central for the sites of Dundee. Staff great, very helpful nothing too much trouble. Definitely worth staying there.

Just refurbished and staff getting used to their new facility… so the inside accommodation is fresh and clean… they did warn us of the slight delay to food coming out due to the restaurant being fairly full… which was appreciated. Staff friendly… price reasonable… choice good… quality of food and prep good. You pay for what you get so don't expect a niche restaurant experience… that would be unreasonable. There is parking but I think this is council owned so there is a low fee but this is right next door to the Discovery ship on the banks of the Tay. The new V&A museum will be opening shortly so will make this venue very popular I guess as well as it being opposite to the Train Station and close to the City Centre. Should also be good during the Summer with outside seating space.

Good location in the city centre and ideal for Dundee rail station. Most memorable was the black pudding served for breakfast — very good!

Spot on location, very central for Dundee centre and its a lovely clean hotel. Great value for money and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

Like pretty much any modern premier Inn anywhere in the UK, this was comfortable and good value. The standout is location, within easy walking distance of town centre Dundee, the Discovery and soon to open V&A Dundee. The restaurant was also impressing with unobstructed views across the Firth of Tay.

Our 5 day stay over Christmas was excellent. WE arrived on 23rd Dec, was allocated room 203 looking directly over the river Tay. All the staff were superb, we were however, disappointed with our meal at the Beefeater on the evening of the 24th. Thanks Again. Brian Murphy.

Nice comfortalbe beds. The best bit about the hotel are the lifts which are some nice Schindler MRLs.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, lovely shower. Breakfast in the Beefeater was perfect. Good location with good views. Only slight gripe was that the heating/air con was a bit unpredictable.

Great place to stay. Staff friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food in restaurant was great. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic location right opposite the train station and 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Room was perfect, overlooking the River Tay and a really nice accomodation overall.

Clean and quiet hotel about 8 minute walk from town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking costs £3 for 24 hours. Great view from the waterfront facing room.

Great newly built inn. Rooms are huge and comfortable. Beefeater within the building for breakfast. 5 minutes walk into the town centre and right next the the RRS Discovery and soon to be open VA.

We have had a horrific day my father in law had a freak accident at work which he was taken to ninewells and unfortunately didn’t survive. It was late at night and we had to find somewhere to stay as we stay 50+miles away the lovely gentleman Fraser who works here got wind about what had happened and checked us into our room about 10 minuets later we got a card off him and the staff we also got our meal paid for us courtesy of premier inn after the day we have had that lovely act of kindness helped us a lot thankyou so much I also forgot to mention my mother in law is disabled and he went out his way to get us the disabled room for her and get us a room right next to her thankyou so much all of you.

Drinks and service were good.

Love this premier inn, always stay there when I come up every year, staff friendly. As someone else said, Alan in the restaurant to a fab. Employee there, shame it is closed for a while, wont be the same staying somewhere else x.

Very helpful staff, clean and tidy room, reasonable rates, central location.

Another grate week here again 8th August 2016 like last time good old timer Alan is still his of friendly cheerful self, grate staff again, sad that Sam has left not long ago. But be warned customer's as from the end of September this branch is being knocked down and rebuilt into a very bigger building 146 room, which won't be ready to rebook rooms here till September next year for this branch.

Stayed here 3 nights whilst having a break in the city. Had been allocated a town side room but helpful staff quickly changed this to a riverside room. Free parking outside, need a voucher from reception. Excellent views over river towards Newport and very good to see airport arrivals floy in along line of river. Usual Premier set up with good pub next door but we found small cafe just 5 minutes away much better suited for breakfasts! Would stay again.

It would be 5 star but for the lack of the expresso machine at breakfast I can only give four. The best Premier Inn I have stayed at. Older but we'll maintained and excellent staff.

Superb location with excellent restaurant. The staff were all friendly and sincere.

Comfortable as usual for Premier Inn. Amazing view of the river. Just 1 min far from the Scott ship! 5 mins from the city center. Solid breakfast but it comes as an add-on.

Go into the bathroom in room 14 and have a look at the door handle… Shoddy. Otherwise, exactly what you'd expect.

Do not stay here. I asked about a reservation yesterday and was sent an email that quoted me a price and when I called today to book the 8 rooms the price had gone up ￡15. They said prices change.

Competent chain, next to the train station, and right on the river. I'd give it 3-4 *s, except they lied when I booked. I expected free Wi-Fi, and arrived to find only 30 minutes free. It wouldn't have cost much to buy more time, but it's a matter of principle — they lied.

Okay food, was slightly annoyed that we weren't shown deals before eating as we would have got away for less, lovely warm environment would recommend the bacon and chicken with cheese.

Enjoyed our meals starters and main.

Modernised nice hotel. Attached pub has very slow service but food is good. They really are so slow though. Left waiting 40 mins just for the bill and it was dead.
