Here at the moment with the family and its amazing, beautiful country like pub friendly and beautiful inside. Food was incredible cant fault anything will definitely be coming back again.

Stayed here with our dog for one night. So glad we found it as it was a fantastic base for exploring Northumberland. The room was great, food fantastic and service exceptional. Our dog was happy with his breakfast sausage too.

Attended for a family birthday meal, nice pub, lovely food but unfortunately my visit was completely ruined by one rude, ignorant waitress who humiliated my family and I. She was totally unprofessional and let her other team members (who were all lovely) down. We will most definitely not be returning! Even after the apologies if the of owner because of her behaviour!

Lovely pub but sadly some of the food tonight missed the mark.
Overly salty fish, burnt goat cheese tart (with far too much balsamic vinegar) …
Chewy Shiraz and flat pint did nothing to redeem the evening.
Disappointing as we have had some great food in years gone by…
£70+ the bill.

This was such a great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, and they included a delicious breakfast. They allow dogs which is always nice to find as a dog owner. We had the smallest room, but it was plenty for a couple and a dog. The dinner here was great too.

Well worth a visit, lovely food all locally sourced. Friendly attentive staff and no loud music.

Delicious food, just enough room for desert after our generous mains. Relaxed atmosphere, large outdoor area, reasonable price, polite and helpful service, all around lovely experience! Thanks, I'll be coming back again.

Lovely quaint country pub with friendly staff and good food. Can recommend the potato strips and white bait from the starters and the crab/lobster burger from the mains plus the cheesecake and peanut and caramel tart for desert.

Really helpful and create a dairy free menu option, which tasted great. Lovely atmosphere.

Possibly the best food in all of Northumberland. Not just pub food either, a really diverse selection. Great ales as well. Spectacular.

Nice atmosphere, friendly locals, but food left a bit to be desired and was expensive. Chef obviously new to concept of gravy. Dirty and brown celery with the stone cold cheese board. And the white wine as warm. Staff initially friendly until we complained about the gravy. Don't recommend eating here.

This is a great pub in the village of Eglingham. Pretty inside and out. The restaurant is outstanding. Always had good meals there over a number of years. PS to the uninitiated there are 2 Tankerville Arms, the other is close by in Wooler — also worth a visit!

Stopped for a late Sunday lunch. Food very good and service attentive & friendly. 2 courses cost @ £20 per head including a drink.

Lovely country inn, beautiful area of England, friendly staff that went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. And the food was exceptional.

The sun dried tomatoes were magnificent.

Now been 3 times to this amazing place in the north east. George and Mary have looked after us so well each visit. We have stayed in all 3 rooms available and they have all been superb, Mary's eye for detail is second to none. Breakfast is wonderful, fresh berries and yogurt followed by all most everything to start the day. Our dog is so welcome to stay with us and yet the rooms show no sign of dogs being there. We have been in so many places where dogs are not welcome yet the luxury and cleanliness allows us to take a break with the dog and feel relaxed and comfortable. This place is a hidden gem, cant imagine anyone could leave a bad/poor review. Roll on next year.
