Couldn't get in the place tried all doors but they locked shut. Perhaps the for sale notice has blown away.

Lovely pub/hotel and restaurant. Highly recommend.

Just ate here as it was my birthday pass the place on way home from workevery night but have never been in. Well il be back again had the ultimate mixed grill it was emormous and delicious struggled to eat it all my wife had the ribs and fajhita chicken which im told was also superb sadly I couldnt manage a pudding they looked grand tho.

We have just got back from a break where we stayed in this amazing pub… The staff were so homely and friendly. The food amazing and the room was plenty adequate. We in fact booked another couple of nights. I would thoroughly recommend this place to stay and eat at… Can't wait for our next break.

After reading the reviews and just moving to the area I was eager to try the food. Walked in the venue and could not find the restaurant at first. We eventually found it and were sat in absolute silence. No music no atmosphere. This alone should have screamed "leave". We ordered from a very polite server (very limited options of drinks) and they came very promptly We had to go get our own menus. Even if we were the only people on the restaurant I had a Niall which consisted of over cooked cod, artificial potato paste and very bland prawns. All swimming in cheese (out of the packet) sauce with no real flavour. A portion of very gritty greens to accompany Honestly the worst meal I have had in a while. The drinks and food were as if it was going out of business but needed to sell you something. I dine out alot and have never been more embarrassed. The meals were cleared while I was away from the table so I didn't get the chance to say anything. Honestly I will not be returning.

Helpful and friendly staff who were very efficient when asked to cater for my sisters dietary requirements.

I luv this pub for Sunday lunch you do not find a lot of pubs that do Sunday lunch nice like they do it is like I have cooked it myself but better if that is possible I think the only thing I could say this week the staff need to try a bit more as I can walk to this pub it is on my door step I can have a cheeky wine with my lunch and walk home I am going to try food though the week.

Very friendly pub. And the food was lush what more can I say. The Wife said that she enjoyed it. So it must be nice Little man's eyes where bigger than his belly.

Went for Sunday carvery meals was lovely but slightly small portion of vegetables.

Went for Christmas lunch after reading good reviews. There was a thirty min delay for starter then 20min delay for main meal. Seem like they had more bookings then they could cope with. Food was nice but found the veg to hard to eat. Pudding was ok. Was disappointed that no there was no effect to decorate the tables especially when it was Christmas day.

Food very good beer ok the beds are hard the mattresses are two thin but overall the staff are very help full but could do with a revamp.

Gorgeous wee place, great staff and 'local colour' regular quiz nights and the food is top notch too.

Called in on the spur of the moment for a bite to eat. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet considering it was a Saturday so we were seated immediately. The food was delicious, well presented and ample portions. As we were about to leave we discovered there was a karaoke night in the bar and we ended up having one of the best nights for a long time. Considering we were strangers we couldn’t have been made more welcome, such a laugh as well. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff. Prepared to change food to suit tastes and the food was great too. 10/10

Good food and a friendly welcome, we stayed over for the night and found on the morning that the door from our room to the dining area was locked, had to ring the hotel to find out why, was told it would not be opened until 8am! Nice place though.

A lovely meal was enjoyed by all of the family. Service was friendly and they catered for my daughters specific dietry needs. We weren't planning on going, we dropped in when passing guidepost and we are pleased we did. Yummy.

What a fantastic establishment, not only is the inside of the facility clean and slightly modernised, it has a very warm environment, very welcoming. the food is an absolute treat, knowing the skills of the chefs who work tirelessly to make amazing dishes, I can honestly say you can look no further for not only happy and comforting food, with classic house dishes, but also be amazed by the house specials, amazingly crafted dishes from great minds. its also lovely to see that not only is the facility well looked after and clean, but the lines are kept clean and looked after, as the daft beers are delightful. a very happy customer who is happy to come back time and time again.

To start with. The Sunday lunches! Fabulous. Plenty of choice, beautifully cooked. The Steaks are wonderful and the presentation is gorgeous — seems a shame to eat it! The staff are a friendly bunch, the chefs are friendly and one asked us in person if our meal was nice. A very "family" atmosphere.

Top grub, top service, shame about the weather.

Pub food eat your heart out! The food here takes it to another level. Ihad the monkfish prawn rissoto, wow! Will be back.
