Lovely meal and service was excellent.

Brilliant staff, couldn't do enough for you, hotel stunning and clean, room lovely, prices good too, walking distance to shops, bars and food, free parking, shower was really powerful loved every minute of stay.

Nice clean and friendly place.

Went for lunch today I got prawn cocktail it was frozen prawns and sauce full of water so no taste my partner enjoyed his cheesy garlic bread. The menu was minimum so found it difficult to get something I liked my partner got the steak pie with chips asked for no veg this came and was told there is carrots in the steak pie “he is a big boy he can pick them out himself ” this is what the chef had said. My chicken Thai curry had very little taste I would honestly say it was ok but wouldn’t get it again. Bill was 57.50 and tried to tip waitress with card and told they cant do this now. Waitress lovey food below standards.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating with a nice choice of menue. The hotel is very comfortable with a very relaxing atmosphere well worth a visit!

Came for lunch to the restaurant last week, very disappointed with the quality of the food (cold undercooked chips and a white toastie with the cheese not even melted inside 🤮 the smell when I walked in the building was like an elderly care home not very appealing, shame place has potential

Spent 25 consecutive nights here, 3 rooms for all the family due to work in house. Can not fault anything about our stay. Wonderful, friendly, professional staff and management. Always go that little bit above and beyond. It was a very unsettling time but the whole staff team made it much less stressful for us than we thought it would be having to be out our home.
We were actually a bit sad to leave.
What a wonderful staff team, such a family atmosphere, thank you to each and every one of you 😘 x.

Fantastic heat at home Christmas dinner for 4. Delicious food with simple reheat instructions. Thoroughly pleased and would definitely do it again. No complaints from anyone and possibly one of the best Christmas meals we've had. Well worth it. Thank you all the staff at Moorings.

Stayed for 3 nights! Staff are wonderful, rooms clean, unfortunately on the last night we had lads slamming doors every 30 seconds & shouting until 3am! We have stayed here 3/4 times and will definitely return despite no sleep on night 3. Pet friendly hotel 🏨 x.

We stayed at this facility for 10 nights last February, March. Very nice, spacious room and great breakfast. Also very handy to the train station or buses into Glasgow or Edinburgh.

This is an excellent hotel, it has a period character but up to date decor, facilities and service. It has good infrastructure connections yet is located v near to relaxing Strathclyde Park. The in hotel breakfast and evening meal were excellent and overall good value for money stay.

The room was clean, everything needed for a one night stay. The food was amazing, this was a company stay booked by myself (Instead of a Premier Inn) TBH the menu was more limited than that of a beef-eater but the steak was amazing as well as the starter. Would defo stay here again. Would recommend.

A very good social events venue, plenty of room for a fairly large group of people approximately 30. The food was good and the staff were attentive.

Everything about the hotel was lovely. Decor, staff and food delightful. The only downside was the serious amount of road noise from our bedroom. It was situated on the corner on a very busy road. Traffic noise continued through to 3am and started again at 5am. Would suggest triple glazing to improve soundproofing.

Lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed, huge shower and great breakfast with wide choice. The best bit about the hotel is the warmth of everyone here. From checking in to drinks and food and then breakfast everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Been going here for many years and regard it as our 'local'. Terrific menu (lunch and dinner) with an eclectic selection of freshly made dishes. Great friendly management and staff in a lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Stayed for five nights for work. Had to move room as my neighbour was noisy. Wasn't a problem. Rooms were clean and to a good standard. Excellent food. Couldn't say I had a bad meal or breakfast. But the best thing is the staff. All wonderful. Well done. I'll be back.

Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Food is absolutely exquisite and great value. Rooms are very comfortable. Only fault is the bathroom could have been slightly cleaner, but I've seen much worse before.

Excellent venue, on the main road 100yards from Motherwell cross. Staff very friendly. Possibly the dearest drink prices but your paying for the very pleasant surroundings.

Thanks for a fabulous weeks stay at the Moorings. Thank you to all the staff who made me feel so welcome and looked after me so well. From first thing in the morning to last thing at night. Nothing was too much trouble and all done with a friendly smile and good nature. Stylish, good sized rooms, Restaurant food was lovely, great breakfasts and tasty varied menu for evening meals. Hope to stay here again. Highly recommend it!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. We stayed here overnight, to break up our journey onto the Scottish highlands. Really friendly staff, made you feel like you were family, not just a guest. We were traveling with our autistic son, and the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The evening meal was delicious, as was the breakfast, and the service was second to none, nothing was too much trouble. The proximity to the town centre was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Dog friendly rooms! Lovely staff and comfortable rooms. Separate corridor for dog friendly rooms which made our stay much better and enjoyable. The best 3 star I've been in.

It's not my first visit to this hotel. I always find the staff helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy some maybe on the small side.

Absolutely beautiful comfortable hotel. All the staff are professional and friendly. The thought and care taken in the interior decor makes your stay a comfortable experience. The bedrooms are immaculate and of a very high standard. Finally the breakfast is lovely and food from the evening menu prices reasonably and very tasty. Last thing car park is fine too.

Stopped here for a meal, as a colleague was staying the hotel. The restaurant was bright and airy, with a modern feel. Lots of room for some. Larger. Tsbkes, but we had one of the booths. Food was very well presented and reasonably priced. Burger was cooked perfectly and the house salad was better than most I have experienced. Staff were excellent and a credit to the establishment.

Just spent a delightful weekend break away with my son for our birthdays, the staff were warm and welcoming, the food in the bar/grill was excellent, the beds very comfortable, would recommend this hotel.

Brilliant food! Second time here and absolutely lovely! Staff are very smart and very friendly and quick service too! Atmosphere so relaxed and beautiful surroundings! Highly recommend in Motherwell.

Had a lovely afternoon tea at the Moorings today for my mums 60th birthday. We were a group of 21, and all agreed that the service and surroundings were great. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious with plenty for everyone. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful rooms, breakfast in bed was to die for especially when away relaxing. Staff helpful and friendly, fantastic selection of food.

Wine selection overpriced but the food was extremely good and more reasonably priced. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Nice for a quiet drink but make sure you bring plenty of cash. It costs a fortune.
