Food was delicious staff are so welcoming lovely place definitely be back.

Fantastic clean friendly n cheap pub paul n his staff cant do enough for u best place for karaoke plus has a mini bus now to take people home must visit if yo have never been here.

The woman who served me was very rude, last time placed a £15 order to be told the chef never turned up and unqualified people cooked the food witch was un edible like plastic. Prices change to what ever they feel like, the lady on the bar is very horrible. Do not go here horrible horrible people.

The bay horse was a brilliant place to stay, Chris and his team look after you very well, excellent value for money, loads of choice for food and drinks, very clean and very well looked after, even the locals make you feel welcome, will certainly go back, best wishes to all the staff.

Been drinking in here on a Friday for last 5 years great night out.

Stayed here for 3 nights last month as we were in Hamilton for a wedding. Room was lovely, comfiest bed we've ever slept in, modern and clean. Great boozer, so friendly; Audrey and Elaine couldn't do enough for us. 100% recommend. Thanks for looking after us.

Nice clean and spacious room at the rear of a cosy Scottish pub. Good beer and friendly people. For an evening meal would recommend Leonardo's Italian restaurant around the corner.

Stayed overnight in the Bay Horse, brilliant service and so easy to deal with which is a rarity in the modern world. Would definetly go back.

Louise is a great barmaid and she's a shaker with them cheese & onion crisps! Be seeing you!

A few friends and myself had booked a table for dinner for 5.30pm. This was one of the nights when it was so cold the roads and streets were like sheets of glass. Traffic was slower than usual so we arrived around 5.50pm looking forward to a lovely meal as it had been highly recommended. You can imagine our dismay when we arrived to be told that the chef had already left, thinking we were not going to show up. The barmaid did offer to bring in food from a nearby restaurant but we wanted to have a choice from a menu, so declined as we preferred to go to the restaurant ourseves. We'd already ordered drinks as soon as we got there, one being a bottle of wine. The barmaid offered to pour one glass and put the bottle back behind the bar for our return later to hear the entertainment that would be on. She asked which table we'd like to sit at and a reserved notice was placed on it for us.
On our return about an hour and a half later we expected to walk in and sit at the table we'd reserved earlier but 'Hey Ho' it was already taken by what turned out to be some of the other barmaid's pals. The barmaid did apologise saying she didn't think we were coming back — Utter Rubbish!. We moved to another table but had to move again as a large group beside us were using rather flowery language and we felt uncomfortable. Still not fully comfortable at this next table we decided to leave and go elsewhere.

Just been to the bay horse for lunch from the minute we walked in it was a lovely atmosphere food was excellent eyes were bigger than my belly portions are great service was brilliant also child friendly will be back soon.

Lovely meal, really enjoyed the chicken tikka. Would highly recommend.

Had a lovely lunch today at the Bay Horse. The fish was huge and delicious. The steak pie was also delish. Highly recommend it, great value and great service.
