Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights after our wedding. The only discomfort I experienced was caused by the hottest June Scotland has seen, but the staff were doing their best to provide everyone with fans for their rooms. Breakfast was lovely. We also had some great cocktails. Checkout at 11 was fine, especially since we were still allowed to use the pool etc. For the rest of the day. Thanks very much =)

Great experience, well staffed and all staff were friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back. Girl in spa gave me the best hot stone massage ever. Can't recomend her enough.

Lovely location. Good breakfast service. Was only told about bar for dinner. Good gym facilities. Would visit again.

Had a ladies spa day with a few friends. Had a fantastic back massage with afternoon tea. Amazing sandwiches and fantastic cakes. Loved chilling by the pool.

Place is pretty run down. Needs a good lick of paint. Surroundings are lovely though.

Attended an event at The Crutherland. Cannot praise the staff enough, they were polite & attentive. Food was fantastic & the service was on point. Would recommend this venue.

We have just had a three night stay here whilst we clear my partners mother's flat in East Kilbride. It was so nice to come back to the hotel after a hard day clearing and cleaning. We didn't get to use the leisure facilities. However we ate it the bar yesterday evening and the food was lovely. The hotel staff we friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely use this hotel again.

Bar atmosphere classic tweedy. Best to drink Guinness if you like real ale. Otherwise gassy lagers and cider or increasingly bottles.

Took Mum for a Birthday Spa & Lunch. Staff, Facilities and Hotel 1st Class we were made so welcome and spa treatment and lunch again outstanding. Thank you to all staff for making Mums day special. X.

Fantastic hotel. Suite was great, clean and well kept. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. The staff were fantastic. Really helpful considerate. Would recommend this hotel for any event.

Good clean and friendly staff the pool is very cold breakfast could be a bit hotter.

Enjoyable spa day and great facilities. Only downside was having to derobe and get your clothes back on to go through to the bar to get your lunch. Would have been nice to have this in the spa area.

Lovely hotel and gardens, we upgraded our room and were very pleased lovely room and bathroom which were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was also good and staff very attentive and pleasant. Would definitely use this hotel again.

This is a lovely hotel, lovely staff who are so attentive, Can't fault this hotel or its staff. Rooms are really nice and a good size and housekeeping keep the hotel very clean and tidy. Book on hotels website and you will find some great deals.

We were there for a meeting. The meeting room was great, nice and warm. Coffee and lunch were lovely and the toilets were clean. There was nothing I would have changed.

This hotel is often my favorite hotel to visit when I'm on business in Glasgow, I love the location and the beauty of the area. Every time I come and stay I will note that the best thing is the staff, the staff are the most committed, friendly and brilliant staff! The hotel spa, swimming pool is a a massive bonus along with the restaurant … expensive but very good food. Rooms are large however the hotel interior is really feeling out of date now, corridors and rooms have marks and scruffs all over them and then interior is very tired and needs a new fresh interior. But highly rerecorded.

Good hotel, staff are friendly. Room was spacious but could do with updating the bathroom, bed was comfortable. Food was excellent in the restaurant, and onsite pool was a good size, and quiet for a swim in the morning and evening.

It is a lovely hotel in a lovely setting. Really nice staff and rooms and the restaurant meal was lovely. Breakfast again really good (if a little slow but due to table service for hot food) Pool was good but due to poor maintenance I cut my thumb so some things could be updated. Spa was lovely and relaxing, I recommend going for the longer massage as 25 minutes is so short when you are so relaxed.

Lovely staff food was ok the pool was amazing really easy access to get into which I was so pleased about as at the time I had a problem with my ankle! Nice hotel.

Visit to local hotel for a coffee & chat with friend. Ages to get served. Never asked us if we wanted another coffee. Expensive but nice ambience overall.

Gorgeous hotel! And excellent service from all staff. Good is lovely and location is great if you are looking for a quiet get away.

We had a lovely time on our spa day. Staff were helpful nothing was a both. Only thing was a woman in the changing area was quite rude!. We don't know why. Anyway we would recommend it.

Amazing hotel, warm and cozy rooms. Facilities were included and the breakfast was part of the package which was great.

Hotel is set near the zoo and is a way from downtown. The rooms are decent but bathroom floor is easily wet from the shower. Nearest grocery or food is 7 min by car.

Beautiful country setting but not within walking distance to shops or restaurants. No USB ports. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious. We were there on a bus tour.

If you are looking to stay close to Glasgow, I suggest look for another hotel. This place is situated around 35 km on the outskirts of Glasgow and even then has to be reached by a service road. Apparently, the hotel is not capable of attending to a large group. We were part of a Trafalgar group of 48 and the hotel staff struggled to serve breakfast on time. It was delayed by ten minutes. Even then it was served cold and to make it worse, there were no spoons and tongs. The waitresses didn't even understand that when laying out sausages, it's imperative to place tongs. Our entire group resented the attitude displayed at the hotel. The rooms were not attended to/checked before new guests were checked in. The washbasin in our room would fill up with water and it became very filthy using them. Avoid this joint like the plague. Look for a hotel closer to Glasgow.

Great for an overnight stay, we went with a deal that included an evening meal, breakfast and a spa treatment. The food was amazing! Very impressive. The staff were very friendly and the spa was great. I'd recommend.

Don't pop in for coffee & ice cream for kids without taking out a second mortgage.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, August 2015. The untrained staff were kids they had no idea what they were doing, or how to look after guests, polite but clueless. Management was non existent and the price of drinks was extremely high, bar service appalling. From the outset, no trolleys or assistance with bags available, no one to help at all. Last time for breakfast 09:30am? while one is on holiday? 4 Star Hotel? not a chance, we stayed 3 nights attended a wedding, which was superb, the wedding meal was terrific, this is obviously what they are good at. However staying the Hotel is an absolute disaster. Give Crutherland House Hotel a wide berth. They need to basic train and support their very young staff.

Food good, staff good, Manager — of no use whatsoever. 45 minutes to get served at bar, all because the Manager wad making one poor girl do all the work. Mind you got two rounds of drinks on the house because it too so long. Bunch of sweary folk in the reception should have been told to keep it down. Dont expect to go there again.

Stayed for the long weekend to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, staff excellent, facilities great, a little pricey but to be expected. Would highlyrecommend.
