Came here for a delicious drink after finishing the Ben Nevis hike. There was quick service and the terrace had a beautiful view over the side of Ben Nevis. Would surely recommend having a drink here!

Great place to base yourself for a mountain adventure. Their drying room is very handy. Standard route to the summit of Ben Nevis begins across the road.

Good hostel. As the name suggests, sleep here before (and after) you climb Glen Nevis.

Able to check in the early hours and good rooms with decent beds. Able to catch a little sleep after our late arrival before we headed up Ben Nevis. The start of a footpath up the mountain is just across the road, it is very convenient. Continental breakfast wasn't amazing.

The staff are really friendly and good place for a night or few, also good dry room plus lounge with good size dining area.

It didn't seem very clean, no plugs in the room and a bit crappy.

Hostel was okay for what we needed (a warm place to sleep before climbing Ben Nevis). Staff when we arrived was very friendly, but when we returned after our hike (at 11:30am) the guy at the desk wouldn't let us use the showers as we had stayed the night before and they were being cleaned (both mens and women's). Because of this we had to pay to have showers down the road at Glen Nevis Campsite.

Fantastic budget hostel. With great service for the price. Right across from the start of the mountain path up to Nevis. Clean facilities overall but with the amount of costumers walking around with muddy boots the place gets dirty in no time. Still the staff manage to keep to a good standard. Which is very impressive. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Special shout out to the very gorgeous Izzy. She was very sympathetic to my blunder with the food. Speaking of food. They have a self catering facility with a large pantry/food shelf. Don't make the mistake of thinking everything on the shelf is free to consume. Most of it belongs to a fellow guest. There is a specific shelf of food that is for every one; and then the rest is private property. Do your best to leave the place the way you found it. It's very communal. There is also a nice restaurant & bar about 200 meters away from the hostel. They serve one amazing grilled salmon and bok-choi dish and many classic Scottish dish along with a few interesting selection of drinks among the usual. They serve a unique rum. (The only Scottish rum currently in production I am told) called 'dark matter'. I highly recommend it. It's quite aromatic and deep. The showers are pretty powerful. Just a heads up.

Great and well located hostel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The bunk beds are OK and the rooms can be really crowded/noisy. Common areas are clean and well organised. It is a great place to stay when visiting and hiking around the Ben Nevis.

Very friendly staff. Hostel itself is large but lacking atmosphere. No power plugs in the rooms (Really?! It's 2016! ), hardly any in lounge area and very poor Wi-Fi reception. Cell phone reception itself is poor. Large, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, shower facilities average. Be prepared that it's a long walk from town centre, but close to Ben Nevis. Packed lunch package was okay. Too expensive compared to other hostels.

Self catering hostel but with a small restaurant for breakfast. Helpfull staff, clean, good facilities for outdoor activities. Great location to climb ben nevis.

Wifi isn't the greatest. Literally across the road from the bridge to the main path up the hill — so fab location. It's a hostel, there's always cool people to share the evening with!

No plugs in rooms, poor internet, small dining room, beds comfy enough, hot water ran out in the morning for showers. Great location next to the river Nevis.

Great price, clean rooms, clean kitchen. A warm shower would have been nice though. Perfect location for the Ben.

Amazing Hostel Will use again such an amazing service everything was ready when we got there and they even let us use the facilities after full climb worth of time … Great location to climb Ben Nevis as the start point is just opposite the hostel.

One of the nicest hostels where I could sleep during my stay in Scotland! The staff is nice. The premises are clean. The spacious rooms. The showers are large enough so that you can ask your business and hot water with pressure to relax after the ascent of Ben Nevis.

Great place. Clean and functional does exactly what you want it to do.

Nice hostel but £22 for a big form room come on.
