So, in my opinion too expensive for performance? Although very clean and tidy, but small bathroom, breakfast manageable. Strange: before we were even in the room we had to decide what we want to eat in the morning and still pay in the stairwell, only then we got our suitcases out of the car. We were at the same preus the night before in a B&B — no comparison. Sirry, I don't like 4 or 5 stars.

Good morning, unfortunately, something unpleasant happened to me. For family reasons I cancelled a reservation on May 6th U. S. For days 22 to May 25. The cancellation limit in Hotel terms. Com was on May 8th and I cancelled it on May 6th. The B&B charged me the amount of 2 rooms of 480 pounds. Until today I have repaid nothing. Get yourself a little idea. I would not like you to find yourself in my own condition.

Uncomfortable and loud. The walls are thin so you hear the neighbors and all the road traffic. There was a hole in the wall and instead of fixing it they had obviously slapped a random vent cover on it. The room was tiny. When you check in be prepared to be bombarded with questions about what you want for breakfast. I understand them wanting to be prepared but they could do a questionnaire instead of pushing for answers before you even get your bags in. You are too far out of the town area to walk anywhere for dinner and when asked for recommendations for dinner the answer was not helpful.

Travelled in May as a group of friends. We were greeted by both the owners on check in and shown our room, whilst being asked for our breakfast options. Room was very clean and comfortable, only negative was very low shower pressure. Breakfast served in the morning was cereal + Scottish breakfast. Hosts were very pleasant and have a lovely location. Would recommend.

Nicely located with waterfront. Room had a big window looking directly at the Loch. Breakfast was really good and the people lovely. Parking is also available. Overall great place to stay.

Beautiful place! Its owner is very friendly, warm room, with amazing views, very beautiful garden. Clean bathrooms with everything you need. Finally the breakfast was fantastic and delicious!

The location is everything! We didn't have a room with the view but we nipped out after breakfast to catch the sunrise from the lake bank and it was so lovely! The room was tiny but really really cute, you felt the personal touch in it. It was bit loud from the street and from the other rooms in the house which I don't mind too much but if you're a light sleeper it could be a problem. I loved the breakfast, too! We got the biggest French press I've ever seen and the coffee was nice and strong.

Room smelt musty and the toilet/shower were built into what looks like a cupboard. Technically it's an interesting solution to the problem of how to make a non en-suite room into an en-suite room but the correct question on this occasion may have been less "can I" and more "should I". Being hassled into making a breakfast time and menu choice at the end of a two hour drive before we've even got the case out of the car was not welcome either. Despite that, the bed was fairly comfortable so two stars rather than one.

Quaint place, even if you notice the old age of the house. Very friendly staff, good breakfast.

Was only there for the night but welcome was brilliant, room was superb and everything I could have needed has at hand to me.

Good location, very nice owner, clean and cozy. Us liked it. Ok, the bathroom is small and the shower a bit selfish, but hey, we prefer here not a, we explore the country and its people. We would book again.

We were two couples staying on 26.06.14 Possibly the worst B&B I have ever stayed in. The whole place smelt of stale tobacco. Our bed was pushed against a wall and was uneven. It sloped away from the wall! Tea making facilities were pathetic and we were only allocated two tea bags. Breakfast was served in a room the owner clearly uses to watch TV in and was spartan. Our friends room had a ridiculously small bathroom, more like a cupboard with a sloping ceiling. Washing and shaving required some amazing contortions! Cereals were not available to choose and pour. The owner served portions he thought appropriate. I had ordered coffee which was served in the world's smallest cafetiere. It barely filled three quarters of my small cup. The owner of this establishment trades on the wonderful views from some of the rooms but does the bare minimum to provide the primary requirements of a B&B, namely a clean, comfortable room with the modern facilities and comfort expected for £75.00 a night. And of course a pleasant and tasty breakfast served in clean, comfortable surroundings. The owner needs to visit some of the other fine establishments available in the Fort William area to realise just what is required to bring his house up to the required standard.

It was the 3rd night of our trip and the 3rd night in a B&B of this kind (3stars from VisitScotland and £50 per room). The location of the place is great: next to a loch and outside Fort William. However the rooms are very small. Bathrooms are even smaller. Don't book the twin room without the view on the lake because: 1. You are facing a very noisy road 2. The television of the owner is even noisier 3. You can wash your teeth, take a shower and pee at the same time in the bathroom because it is so small. Forget about the lovely concept of meeting a local. The guy (I dont even know his name) is really not the most welcoming person (dare I say, if you dont like your job, dont do it? ).

I usually stay in full service hotels but stayed in this B&B so had no pre-conceptions before my stay. Good points: it was clean and had free-view TV. The facilities were adequate but no more than that. Food at breakfast was ok. Owners seemed friendly enough. Bad points: the room was very small, as was the bathroom. No bath, just a shower. The tiny corner sink made it impossible to wash any more than hands and even cleaning teeth or shaving was difficult. The heating seemed to be on for only a short period in the morning and the evening. Didn't like having to order breakfast the night before and didn't like sharing the breakfast table with the other guests. I could have stayed in a hotel with a bigger room and better facilities for the same price so didn't think it was value for money. Had to pay in cash to avoid a 5% surcharge and will not stay here again.
