Well we've been coming for a lot of years at New year and loved it people lovely food great bar and lounge friendly hope we get this new year ☺️ I suppose we'll have to wait and see Irene Todd and Ian crabb xxx.

Great hotel … loads of parking space … the rooms are very spacious and clean … food is excellent and staff are very friendly… great place to chill out in … highly recommended a stay in this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with the most amazing food. Loved our gorgeous room with mountain view and the relaxing pool area.

Nice experience so far but the restrictions make it hard for them but still they do their best for costomers.

Nice rooms comfortable beds and the showers are brilliant friendly staff and a nice wee breakfast/lunch bag to take away will definitely be back at some point.

I had a great stay at the Ben Nevis Hotel and leisure club. The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities are excellent, offering free towels, free shower gel and shampoo and even bags to carry your wet swimwear. The room was large enough and very clean. The hotel location is very central to Fort William, easy to find and the perfect base for exploring local attractions. The only fault that I would note would be the carpet in the bedroom being stained and needing replaced. This did not however affect the enjoyment of the hotel and I would stay here again.

We were looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend away. What we experienced was anything but nice or relaxing! We were booked into the “superior” double. The room was mediocre at best. Nothing superior about it. The whole room was very dated and could use a deep clean. Especially the small bathroom, the black mould around the shower door was very off putting. The walls are paper thin and as our room back onto what I can only assume was the bar storage room. The noise disturbed our sleep on the first night. An ill fitting window meant we had gale force winds whistling through the large gaps, resulting in us using towels to try and block the draft. The food is sub par. Both our evening meals and breakfasts were very disappointing, clearly microwaved/reheats which were either dried out or cold. Poor quality ingredients. Pasta dishes served with a side of dried out mash (which is a bizarre combination in itself) and vegetables that were so overcooked that they had lost their colour and turned to mush. On our second night already prepared for the noise from the bar/lounge area we settled in for the night only to discover that 22:50 seems to be when they schedule landscaping work/grounds maintenance, a large digger roar to life and proceeded to move large concrete blocks until approximately 5am! This resulted in very little sleep for either of us ahead of a long drive home.

Great accommodation and quality of food.

Pleasant reception staff. Rooms spacious with ensuite in my single room. TV was an added bonus and room service was very prompt.

Great value for money and good leisure centre. Only downside is the food at the buffet breakfast could be hotter.

And ask for the rooms at the rear away from the main road
Also I found the meals are good but don't ask for the steak it is not great very chewy and not worth the extra cost.

Stayed here many times, a great hotel to stay in, excellent food which is well prepared and presented, great service, bar and leisure facilities.

All of the above, dirty, badly maintained, cut my foot on a broken tile in the steam room, unhelpful reception staff both at checking in and check out this morning, too busy chatting and serving other people behind me, shocking, room very dated, en suite in a poor state, what this hotel needs is a bulldozer, and most of all certainly not worth £119 for one night.

Nice friendly service, the rooms were a good size could do with a little modernisation as the bathrooms are a little dated. The food was great & the staff were friendly myself & my wife all in all enjoyed our weekend.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They don't know how to manage reservations properly. I made a booking for my family for a trip to Scotland. Everything was all confirmed, I paid (in full) in advance. Then, a few days before we flew out to Scotland they emailed me to say they were cancelling my booking (made 2 months earlier) due to being overbooked. What kind of property does that? One that you don;'t want to say at, that is what kind. So in the middle of peak tourist season we had to find somewhere else to say. Emails asking for an explanation were ignored. If you are staying in Fort William there are lots of other options. Don't stay here. Loved Fort William, great place!

Food is ok so far. No elevator. No baggage service. You drag everything yourself to the third floor. Doors in the aisles that only obstruct. You can talk to the toilet flush. And if you can't hurt someone, it's possible to wake up the hotel. In our washroom, we certainly washed themselves during the Second World War before going to the front.

Stayed on August 15 2018. £132 for 1 night. The room was tiny… Certainly not what was featured on the website. The images that drew us to this hotel, we're not the reality. More mature lady receptionist aloof. Leasure facility's we're excellent, really enjoyed… Breakfast satisfactory. Disappointed for what we payed. Should have been nearer £80 / £90. Cheers. Stayed here with my wife on our minimoon in 2014. We climbed Ben Nevis and chilled out using the spa features here. Enjoyed an evening of local entertainment too. Would definitely come back.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, espically to any disabled person. We stayed in room 323 which was excellent for my needs, directly outside the ground floor room was a disabled parking place. The bed was comfortable and quite high, the bathroom had a shower that not only had a seat but as a paraplegic I was able to get my shower chair/commode comfortably. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only thing that spoilt it was the usual selfish people who smoked outside the room in a no smoking zone. Well done to all the staff.

Staff were friendly and the pool and jaccuzzi were good but apart from that nothing too rave about. Paid for superior room mountain view and too me I got a classic room. Enquired about it but was told superior. Bar was awful like sitting in a school dining area. Staff did not know what garnish too put in the gin but yet they advertise all these lovely gins. Had better breakfast in a Wetherspoons. No taste too sausages. Bacon too salty. Says on menu staff will come and take your tea/coffee order and toast. Would still be waiting another day. Ended up going up and getting own. Overall won't be back as seen better in area for less. Photos look nice when booking but it's not what your getting.

Stayed here May 18 — 20. Hotel is dated and tired. They were repainting the outside but in my opinion the inside needs work. Had 2 very uncomfortable twin beds in a room with peeling wallpaper overlooking a field with sheep. Noisy on the days we were here. I will say though that the food in the restaurant was very good.

School groups using restaurant then showers in pool area is a joke. Wobbly tables in bar and if you don’t get in soon enough you won’t get a seat. Rooms need refurbished and extra electric sockets, placed where you need them. (Beside bed). No alarm clock and we were in a superior room with mountain view and bonus package. Beds were comfortable and breakfast good but has been better when local farmer used for sausage and bacon. A little overpriced.

Food was decent but staff was not friendly at all. Waiters and bartenders were not properly staffed for the amount of people staying there. Rooms were very old and hot. No air conditioners or fans at all.

Stayed 1 night here. It's as close to a motel as can be without being called one. Paid extra for s room with a view of Ben Nevis that didn't mention the tyre centre opposite. Not that it mattered as my paid for view from the bed was as the attached picture shows — Awful! Nice staff though.

Really nice people. The friendliest hotel stall I've come across in ages. Our room was. Newly refurbished and extremely comfortable with a modern TV extremely comfortable bed and even a small dressing room The breakfasts are superb. A huge and very Scottish 'eat as much as you like' buffet that is all beautifully prepared. The Dinner menu is limited but good value. Again, simple food of good quality simply cooked. The public rooms are large and comfortable.

From the outside and also in the entrance hall The hotel makes a good impression. The rooms are quite small and kept simple, for Fort William and travelers who are looking for the stunning scenery but are adequate.
The service is very nice and the breakfast also good.

The hotel is reasonably equipped with not many shortcomings. However, extremely noisy, train tracks nearby and you can hear every step of the hotel. The breakfast was quite disappointing. Scrambled eggs looked like from the Tetra pack and the rest was also served unlovingly. The staff was very rude. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Don't come here! The room I've just checked in is a complete joke for that chunk of money they charge. Besides the new TV nothing was touched since at least 10 years. You have to "pump" to flush the toilet and for lights in the bathroom you need to pull a string. Is this 1980? All for almost 100€!
We were excited about the leisure area after hiking the whw, but seeing the room we decided to go to sleep and leave as early as possible.

As a three star hotel it's OK, I would recommend it. Everything is old and stale, but I thought it was good and very clean (sure is what you were waiting to hear).
The room with the typical carpet, had a really big bathroom.
The worst the unfriendly and forgiving lives of the receptionist. But the hotel is not to blame.
The huge breakfast, typical of here.
Of course I've seen better places, but I assure you that worse too.

Small and Jurassic rooms. Friendly and professional. Being all that old gives a little bit of "flirting". Even the air freshener smells like Grandpa's colony. Q is the good reviews Q has to be people Q has not left much of home. He needs urgent renovation, but he's very decent. Breakfast Has pool massages and spa Salon Q I have not tried but looks good.

Great facilities. Lacking in the rooms. The pool, gym and saunas are fantastic, clean and well maintained. The restaurant is good and food is a great quality. The rooms are what let this place down. The beds are very hard (read 'old') and the room temperature leaves you wanting! 0330 waking up because I was too cold. But bring an extra blanket! (On top of the extra one in the room) and you'll be fine. The price is definitely worth the extra effort of bringing a blanket or two! Would definitely go again myself!

A comfortable and welcoming highland hotel with great facilities in the process of getting refurbishment. Good food and entertainment! We even walked up Ben Nevis from the front door!

Great hotel, food was lovely, staff were really welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect, bed so comfy after a day of walking. Views of Ben Nevis. Massive bonus that they welcomed my dog who had the best holiday. Will definitely be back.

Warm welcome, nice and helpful staff, the place is a little bit old, but very clean and taken care of. We had our Valentine's dinner there and the food was great. The sesame see bass is something I totally recommend. In the room price you have access to the leisure centre. You can find there gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, 2 types of sauna. I think it is a great place to recharge the batteries and spend time with family. Also the breakfast is great with a big selection of food. And they have gluten free options!

Decent hotel with helpful staff. Rooms are always clean and have modern Tv's, tea/coffee and good heating. Plenty of parking outside. Large restaurant and a bar that both serve nice food, good selection on the free breakfast also, Great fuel for a hard day's hiking in the highlands.

It has a beautiful view, it is very cozy, clean and its rooms are of good size. Recomiedo much this hotel has very good service in general.

Passed this place a few times and decided to phone and book a room for part of this trip, we were sold on a superior room with a mountain view premium rate of course, in reality the room was a classic twin with a view of the building, the water was freezing cold which after a day up the mountain isn’t what you want we enquired and were told to “wait because everyone is running the hot water” we tried that to no avail, at which point the “boiler had recently been re-done and were have problems” we were then offered another room with a mountain view and hot water (a big tree in front of the window still no mountain which given the location of the hotel was surprising) it was the wheelchair accessible room on the opposite side of the building with a wet room instead of a bath, by this time we had decided to grin and bare the cold water and non helpful attitude of reception staff as we were starving and it was getting late, the breakfast room in the morning was packed, milk and continental pastries etc had ran out and the kitchen, waiter and waitress were struggling to keep up with the capacity, this was not a comfortable stay at all and we highly considered moving lodgings instead of fulfilling the stay but everywhere was quite busy. Lots of far better places in the area also no feedback was taken at the end of our stay or I would of left this privately, I’m not usually so irritated I would leave an online review.

The place is first class would recommend to everyone the food is out of this world staff as well nothing to much trouble bother for them well done.

Fabulous place, excellent staff, spotless leisure centre. Just love going there had my 65th birthday there, can't wait till we go again.

Room facilities very good. Disappointed with restaurant as on previous visits there were table cloths on the tabless and full cutlery on table. Not this time, as sweets served and had to wait till spoons brought.

Very nice hotel in lovely location. Not seen at its best as weather has been very wet but so many good walks in the vicinity. Food was good and plentiful. Service was very pleasant. Room very nice and clean.

Room very dated and expensive. Staff grumpy on reception, was not made to feel welcome at all. Location of the hotel is nice but that's all we really liked about it.

Nice place. Didn't get to check out the facilities properly. But nice break fast.

The hotel is old and not very well maintained. Rooms are small and the bathroom is not so clean. It has a bar and a restaurant that close at 9pm no matter if your beer is not finished yet… Breakfast is included but is not so good. Pancakes were not well cooked and coffee was burnt. A good point is the swimming pool included in the price. Yeah, the price. We spent 135€ for a small dirty room.

A very special hotel with very large and discreetly clean rooms. I honestly would not stay here again just for the noise.

Very big hotel with long corridors. Somewhat dated and neglected, all with a musty air. We paid twice as much per night for our room as we've been paying for B&B further north and expected something special. The only good thing is the swimming pool with sauna and Jacuzzi. There is also a gym. Food not bad. The view of Ben Nevis would be nice without the busy road and garages in between.

Room was nice if not a little dated in style, TV was very small. The view from my room was fantastic. The breakfast which was provided was ok, nothing special. Bar/lounge has a good atmosphere and a wide selection of drink options, especially for those who enjoy a wee dram.

Room was hot and stuffy, bed was hard. King bed was 2 mattresses together. Not worth the price at all. Bathroom was old and moldy needs updating. No water pressure in the shower either. View was of the lobby roof. Chairs provided in the room were also uncomfortable so no real place to sit down. One of the worst hotels I have stayed in making the price hurt even more.

Where do I start. The view of a wall of the hotel or the mold in the bathroom. The room had two windows one was of Ben Nevis which was nice. The second window was a view of a stairwell and the wall of the hotel. The hotel is right off the main road so you hear traffic none stop. The room it's self is very outdated. For the hotel being smoke free the rug was filled with burn marks. I am not sure if this is just a thing in Scotland but the bed was just two mattresses pushed together. I will end on the bathroom. The floor is dirty but the kind that obviously can't be cleaned. The tube was no better and appeared there was mold in the edges.

The hotel is falling apart, in need of major renovation. The restaurant is self service buffet style. The hotels Wi-Fi has poor coverage. Not worth the money paid.

Good offers throughout the year on dinner, bed and breakfast. Restaurant, bar and leisure club all to a good standard. Not in the town centre, but not far away.
