Just some photos showcasing the history and a meal that I had here. Lovely place to stay that is close to the city but also offers a refuge from the hustle and bustle. The hotel has a rich history and a very supportive and helpful staff.

Clean rooms and wonderful meals. I would like to thank Sharna (Deputy Manager) for helping me retrieve belongings left in safe at a previous hotel. Sharna (hope I'm spelling right) was on it! And Harry (Porter) for going the distance and retrieving my belongings… above and beyond. Thank you for helping me in such a stressful time. Respect the honest and professional handling.

Staying as part of a corporate group. Lovely welcome. Helpful business facilities. Great room. Amazing meal in our pre-arranged private dining room with very attentive service. Would definitely recommend for corporate trips but will be back for a private short break.

Lovely hotel & rooms (but rooms lack a we fridge for cold drinks) my 8 year old couldn't sleep on the top bunk bed as when she sits up her head hits the ceiling so a little to close for comfort, But she had a nice sleep on comfy couch. Local scenery & area spotlessly clean. Hotel drinks are expensive £450p & that's for a Tennents lager, pound more for the good stuff. Lovely buffet breakfast for all to enjoy with plenty staff to keep the place running smoothly over all I would come back.

Wonderful hotel. Staff very helpful and and friendly. Food is amazing. Would of been 5 star but the room was cheap. Bed was very comfortable. The let down was the bathroom. It smelt musty and was not as clean as it needed to be and floorboards squeezed. Only needed to roll over in bed and it made the wardrobe move. The blinds was fraying and the pull cord was broken. Very expensive wine. Check your bill after as we had someone else's drink on our account. I didn't complain as we only stayed one night and the meal and staff make up for the faults. I do recommend this hotel.

Love it here! Breakfast is fab, rooms are lovely and the staff are very helpful. A dog friendly hotel, so we were delighted to be able to take our dog along.

This hotel is superb, immaculately clean, stylish, on entrance you are presented with amazing decor the whole place looks amazing. Though it's a 4 star I think if they added face cloths to each room and slightly upgraded bathrooms they will certainly get 5 stars with ease (that shampoo is really nice). Every member of staff is friendly and professional. It comes with free access to some really cool facilities. The gym is divided into two separate rooms one for running and cycling etc and the other for weight lifting etc. The pool isn't huge but it's perfect for a little stretch, they have a sauna and steam room and a really cool hot tub. The restaurant is amazing we had a 3 course meal. Starter was smoked salmon for me and lamb for the lady. It was so amazing me and my wifey gobbled it down before even thinking of taking photos. For the main we both went for the suckling pig. And it was to die for! Desert. I had the hazelnut chocolate superb amazing 10 out of 10 for the presentation, taste and quantity. Compliments to the chef! You have earned yourself a mark. As me and my wife will always return to your hotel every pay day lol. We will be back!

Our favourite hotel in Inverness, and we use it for both business and leisure. A first class operation which is superbly managed by all involved. It ticks so many boxes, I'm not quite sure where to start. The bedroom accommodation has been very carefully thought through in the planning stages from start to finish. Over the years we've fully tested every aspect of the Food & Beverage operations from Room Service to Functions and everything in between. I've yet to find it wanting! The leisure facilities at the hotel are an added bonus, and as for the staff? Well, they're efficient, warm, friendly and welcoming. In a nutshell, we'd find it hard to go any where else!

We stayed last Friday for a formal dinner. Love it. Superior rooms are amazing with great beds and showers. Food was also great. My only criticism would be that the towels could be improved.

This hotel is second to none, I have been in the trade off and on for many years. And truth be known This place is amazing it's for everyone all people young to the very old disabled, fit and unfit. Food this was the most enjoyable experience I and my wife have had in many a year. I am sorry that it was only for one night but would and I think we will be back for our 4th anniversary in a year's time and I am sure it will be for longer God willing. Thank you to the staff for being so so friendly.

Weekend stay for 2 nights. Room service dinner was reasonably priced as was the wine. Bar area is relaxed and very comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet, with everything freshly available. Rooms were large and clean. Bathroom included a rain shower.

Staff were friendly and greeted us with a whiskey on arrival. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Swimming pool and leisure facilities were excellent. Tasty breakfast included with the room. Had a relaxing stay.

Thought the room was good, if a little dated and tired looking. Comfy bed. TV didn't work though. Food was excellent, far from cheap however. £5.30 for a pint was also hard to swallow. Chose this place as it was just £80 per night for B&B. Extra £77 for 2 nights food and drink was a bit much though. Nice place, ideally located, staff all very polite and attentive. Just a touch too much for the food and drink in my opinion. Would certainly consider going back.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! The staff were lovely and the room was great. The only thing I would say about the room, and it's such a 1st world problem, but there were no plugs next to the bed for laptops/phones. It was a little annoying but didn't affect our stay. The pool facilities were great we mostly used them in the evenings and they weren't too busy so you got a fair share of each thing. I would definitely stay again.

My wife and I absolutely love this hotel. The staff are so friendly and polite which really makes you feel welcome. The hotel overall is decorated in a modern Scottish style. It is minutes away from the town centre so very conveniently located. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Inverness.

Great place. Stayed here in October using a VIP room voucher as given to us by a friend. The room was spacious, very comfortable and had the biggest bed I've ever slept in. We had a beautiful view of the golf course from our balcony and a mini fridge in the room along with complimentary sweets on arrival. There was also a coffee lounge with complimentary Nespresso available to us. Lovely to know there are great places available locally!

Beautifully appointed hotel! Stayed in the garden rooms which were absolutely amazing — huge shower for 2! And kitted with all you need. Polite and helpful staff. Steongly recommend a stay and would definitely stay there again!

Slightly out of town hotel with nice gardens. Since it's built in an old mansion, all rooms are a bit different. But all are large, we felt the bathroom was bigger than necessary (that's a first time! ). Our kid loved the bunk bed in our room. Food was also good. Not so good was that Wi-Fi was very weak in our room, towards the end of a corridor, had to hold the switch for the kettle to work, and very limited toiletries.

Really beautiful hotel, friendly courteous staff, every department the staff were well presented courteous and made us feel welcome and special, room was immaculate, restaurant food exceeded expectations and was delicious and beautifully presented. Thought I was in a 5 star, spa was very cool loved the sauna, pool and hot tub. Spent hours in there, again staff were lovely, gym was perfect to work off our hefty breakfast which was the best, all you can eat generous delicious fry up with all extras and great choice of fresh juice. Will definitely visit again!

Amazing room, affordable Sunday Deal, lovely Staff. Breakfast was top notch too. Use of the pool and gym included. Nice wee pool although can be busy with Families if that's not your bag. About a 20 minute walk from town centre or a £5 taxi if the driver doesn't take the Micky. All in all a lovely staybif your in Inverness.

Good location. Older property. Not many expected amenities. No refrigerator. No bottles of water (even to purchase) bed leaves alot to be desired. Decent breakfast. Bar seems to have a nice selection of scotch whiskey.

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly and rooms well equipment. Food is a very good standard. Is popular with groups and conferences.

Great luxury hotel with great hospitality! Set up in several building. There's only one restaurant in the main building, but breakfast is being served at the separate buildings as well which is nice. Food is good, service is great. Beds are really comfortable and everything I needed was there.

Attended a small wedding here. The set menu was a great selection and good was really goid. The service was a little slow but very good service once you got it.

Very friendly and approachable staff. Eager to help at every opportunity which was most welcome with 2 babies! Clean large rooms and fantastic en suite bathrooms. Fabulous hotel for all events.

I would say its either a 3 star or 5 star stay. If you stay in the old part of the hotel, its dated and more a 3 star however from what I can see the newer parts of the hotel are a lot nicer. Staff were great and bed was super comfy.

The room was slightly dated but very roomy. My kids loved the bunk beds. The grounds are nice and the dining and bar area is nice too. It is a 20 minutes walk from downtown Inverness so I would recommend a car for getting around.

This is a nice place, with great family rooms, a very good restaurant, and a nice pool facility but beware! It has a function hall, and on the Saturday night we were there a wedding band rocked the house until midnight. It was somewhat muffled to us on the top floor but considering we dropped over 300 pounds for the room, it was a bit of a turn off.

This one is an old fashioned traditional hotel. Beautiful interiors Lovely gardens everywhere Also the food quality is very good. But the most striking feature is the excellent staff. They are really helpful and a hardworking lot. Had an amazing experience!

Quiet, cosy hotel with polite staff. Traditional Scottish dishes for breakfast, which I fell in love with haggis. Well-groomed territory, very bright, spacious room. In the evenings in the lobby-lounge piano playing musician that Scotch whisky was perceived so appropriate (whisky saw not I repent). In General, stay in Scotland left sasye, and last but not least thanks to this hotel.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Inverness. The rooms were large and offered great corpses of the golf course. We dined in the restaurant the first night and enjoyed the food. The staff was very helpful in making recommendations for further dining and things to do in the area.

Excellent staff, good value facilities and super rooms if you are staying with your dog.

Rooms extremely comfortable and staff genuinely very very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast too! Very good location too, easy access to the centre and main route in.

Kings club is lovely even if a bit expensive. The food however needs improving massively, the staff are very helpful and the swimming pool and jacuzzi is ace!

The hotel is very nice, ideally neither too far nor too close to the Center. Excellent room, equipped with every comfort and nicely muted. Good breakfast, only minus the service is a bit cold and aloof.

My stay at the Kingsmills hotel was due to work, I must say the staff are friendly, the hotel is pleasant and the food is excellent. There are some amenities in the vicinity and I look forward to spending more time here. If you're looking for a hotel in Inverness I would recommend the Kingsmills.

We were staying at the hotel for a company end of season dinner. Hotel was great and the food was fantastic!

I held my daughters 8th birthday party here on the 15th of November. The staff at the hotel could not be more helpful and nothing was a bother. Manager Tracy and party organiser Rebecca was so helpful when I first looked to book a swim party at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to book a swim party for there child.

Very good place to stay for a few nights. Garden rooms are recommended. Only glitch… 15 minutes walk to Inverness town centre.

Superb food and stunning bedrooms. Perfect for traveling with familys (and dogs — they have a wing especially for dog owners which open out to the gardens). I also love that they have a swimming pool. Perfect choice for a stay over, but also my favourite stop for dinner when I'm up north for meetings.

Great hotel with excellent customer service! Food is excellent and enjoyed many lovely dinners here. Close to where I live so I consider it my local. Highly recommended.

I loved staying at Kingmills Hotel for a long weekind — rooms are gorgeous — food is amazing — and perfect location. Would 100% stay here again.

Recommend this very highly, staff are very friendly and helpful. Good clean and quiet.

I stayed here at the end of last year — in a room in the Kingsmills Hotel building (not in the new Kingsclub and Spa building). I was really impressed with my room — it was huge! Also there were patio doors opening out into a terrace area, so if the weather had been warmer this would have been a lovely place to sit out in the evening. Service at the hotel was great — everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here if I'm in Inverness again.
