Good quality, large capacity, hostel. Easy location not too far from the station. Supermarket nearby. All the facilities you'd expect and nice big social/lounge area. The kitchen was huge! The bed was comfy. Good place to stay in Inverness.

Very decent hostel with very well equipped common rooms. On the other hand, only a little luck can promise you to spend good nights in the common rooms. Very good for families wishing to discover Inverness at a lower cost.

Lovely hostel with great facilities and comfy beds. It's about 15 mins walk from the city centre, 10 if you're a fast walker. They're very flexible about check-in times and prices are modest. The showers are neat and clean and the Wi-Fi works fine. Their kitchen is quite spacious and so are the communal areas. I'd definitely recommend it!

Great place to stay. 10 mins from town. Clean & Friendly. We had private room. Clean and powerful shower. Towels were provided. Beds and pillows very comfortable. We will return.

Very nice Youth Hostel. Has a secure Key System and free WI-FI is also available. Size Reception with comfortable Seating is also to be expected. Unfortunately, my Visit was influenced by bad Guests but that you can not write the Hostel.

Good hostel, but not quite central. Shared shower and bathrooms were clean. Not enough power outlets in the bedroom.

Lovely location and staff. Have free kitchen to do all your food preparation. Clean room and toilet. Only downside is shower room has less privacy. No door to lock, only a simple curtain.

Really clean, tidy hostel with free parking. The living room, toilets and bedrooms were clean. The kitchen was wonderful, huge, clean with all the tools you'd need to cook a decent meal. The only downside is that the showers don't have much privacy, best be prepared! Otherwise, a lovely temporary stay. Thanks be to the friendly staff!

The Youth Hostel is a nice place, clean and fairly nice. Nothing too high end but a good place to sleep and get a half decent breakfast in the morning. The showers were very nice. I like the electronic key system the have there as well. The internet really only works in the lobby which is a bit annoying but is what it is. For a hostel the internet works pretty darn well. Didn't see much of it as I wasn't there very long but what I experienced was good.

So far I have the best experience with hostels in Scotland. I was almost everywhere in Scotland at the hostel and when I book private rooms is still cheaper than an economy hotel.

Great facilities — especially the self catering kitchen. Feels a little like a school camp though!

Nice room with a lavatory. If you're traveling off-season it's likely that you get a room for yourself even when only paying for one bed. Clean kitchen with shelves and pens to mark your food. Nice lounge areas and an easy check-in.

Very comfortable, except for one bond that made us pay, *by doing something suspuestamente, that we did not do*, you still good to stay.

Hidden away from the city centre but well signposted this is a large hostel with friendly staff clean rooms and large communal spaces, they brief you on removing bedding when checking out and youre ready to go! my room was near communal showers so I was woken up at 1am and 3 am with the sound of a thunderstorm (it was just the showers) otherwise id recommend this hostel as a cheap base for touring the highlands, just ask for a quieter dorm or room the prices were excellent and breakfasts are available very reasonable costs, at night you have free reign of the kitchen so you could buy your own food and cook up a storm in their large cooking space.

Not a bad location, and great cooking and dining area, but at time I was there major construction was going on in the hostel and rooms were a bit lackluster. An elevator would be appreciated going up the flights of stairs with luggage. All in all, an ok place to stay for a quick night-over.

Good hostel with low standards YHA.

Twas really clean and the room was warm. Really friendly staff. The shower and toilets were clean as well and the water was super hot which was really good. They had a great kitchen too which is a good hang out place. Only small point is that the rooms had thin walls, there are only 2 plugs in the room and the Wi-Fi is quite bad.

Dirty, only toilets in the hallway… If you are unlucky you will be placed in the room with other people you don't know. Can't recommend it to anyone.

It's all right here. I am very well accommodated and feel comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. There is even a coach parking lot… That's super.

We spent two nights there: first we were surprised by the ease of checking in etc, the private room also had surprisingly a private bathroom. Wi-Fi is free and also good/fast. It is centrally located, within a 5 min walk to the city centre with shops, castle, River Ness etc. The staff were very kind, helpful and accommodating! The food was good and the stay nice! Thanks for the great stay!

The place for if is not bad at all, however the rooms are cold and there is no soap and shampoo (which I expect if I take an independent room)

Good hotel but a little old.

Great little hostel that's fairly close to everything in town. It's a bit small so kitchen and living areas can get a bit cramped at peak hours. It would also be nice to have plugs near the beds. Otherwise it's awesome. Staff have all been very nice and helpful.

Small hostel very nice to Iverness. Close to everything. The rooms are small and pleasant. Good service, prices are honest. Small concern, there are no lockers in the rooms.

A decent room, with two bunk beds and a single bed. It would have been better without the spider webs in the window.

I liked the atmosphere in this hostel perfectly represents the spirit that all hostel should have. Very clean even if a little shower, the staff was very welcoming.

Very well suited for one or two nights in Inverness.
The single rooms are recommended. The communal kitchen is very sparsely equipped. Wi-Fi reception only in the lobby.

Hostel was great and staff was awesome. Key cards didn't seem to work for anyone but good enough.

Nice hostel, good interior, excellent as a base for motorcycle daytrips to Loch Ness, John o Groats and Cairn.

Wee bit out from the town, but it's in a quiet area so that's a positive for me.

I had barely walked into my room when I knew I didn't want to stay the night here. There were two old naked men in my room. There was no safe or locker for my belongings. The water smelled awful. The sink was falling out of the wall. I left immediately and found a hotel instead.

Stayed one night, and met some genuinely fantastic people there. Staff is friendly, nothing is broken, and everything is clean. I'd stay there again.

Great place to stay with a really friendly atmosphere. All the staff were fantastic and treated us well. Would definitely recommend.

Comfy beds, good showers, decent breakfast.

One is fast in the city. There are group rooms but for teachers and carers is also very small "single cell". The staff is friendly and helpful.

They didn't have a vegan packed lunch, the rooms were very cold and the Wi-Fi only worked on the first floor, but I was only there for one night so I appreciated the clean facilities and friendly staff. I definitely prefer the Youth Hostel in Edinburgh!

Nice clean and well maintained, well located. Rooms and dorms are prim. Ticks all the boxes. 4 stars coz, no free Wi-Fi provided.

Excellent treatment and the place I liked.

Very dishonest practice. Charged an extra £12 to our credit card without consent because we weren't members on top of the amount quoted by the third party booking website. Internet access is charged at £3 per hour.

Despite the wet atmosphere which takes you to the nose once you arrive on the floor of the room, and who seriously intensifies in the showers, this hostel is very welcoming, everyone will be happy to provide information and the kitchen is very nice to prepare a good meal after a visit to the Highlands.

Decent Hostel. Professional staff and not a lot of "partying". Not the most comfy beds but after being awake for over 24 hours we didn't much care.

Our room was really dirty; strange splashes on the ceiling; holes in the wall; beds looking like they would break down soon (with scribbling on them) ; broken cupboard.
