Cheap and close to town centre.

Do not put yourself through the misery of staying here its disgusting. The bedroom had peeling walls with mould all over, the curtains were disgusting with muck and mould. The showers had mould on them too, the sinks didn't have hot water neither did the kitchen sink. My bunk had no bar to prevent me from falling so unsafe. Had a general weird stink, the beds were rock hard on a creaky bunk bed so very noisey. You don't expect luxury staying in a hostel but at least not to have mouldy peeling walls. The only good thing I can say is location is great and staff were nice.

Not the best stay I've had so far. Unfortunately the pictures on Google maps aren't accurate. There was no hot water in the kitchen, so everyone used cold water to wash the dishes (very unhygienic), little amount of dishes and cutlery, not enough seating in the kitchen for everyone to have dinner and breakfast, one of the ovens didn't work at all, the other one took ages to preheat. The toilets, bathrooms and dorms aren't particularly clean. Also there was mould in our room and you couldn't lock the door. However the staff was very nice and the hostel was perfectly located, close to the station, supermarkets and the city center.

It was a good stay. Some things could have been better but, yeah, it worth the price. Sometimes the Toilets were kinda dirty, and I missed a place where I can just go and use my laptop, or write something… a place with a table and sockets, without a lot of people/noise. But the hostel is lovely, the staff is cute and prestative and in the hostel's wall you will always see something funny.

The best feature is the location — very convenient to the bus and train station. Overall the hostel was clean. It was fine for 1 night, but I would not stay longer here. The shower was average with not the best water pressure. The mattress was stained and didn't have a mattress cover! The pillows were super flat so you needed 2 pillows for decent support. My duvet cover was also very old and scratchy. The kitchen does not open until 8a — would have liked to be able to have breakfast there earlier so instead we walked to a cafe even though we had bought cereal already. There are several improvements that should be made — especially in response to the rooms themselves.

Super cheap, so the rooms are. Floors smells like a mix of curry and pot. Rooms are dirty! A hostel representative just came into our room without asking. No heaters, no sockets. You won’t have much fun here. Edit: I have been super ill a few days after staying here. Had to take antibiotics for a week. Can't recommend this place!

This place was pretty awful, honestly. The only redeemable facts are the awesome kitchen and manager. It wasn't clean, and there was some dude sleeping on the couch in the Rec Room. The doors hardly lock and the "cleaner" just leaves them open when he's done. Tiny lockers so you can hardly fit anything inside. No hot water. Definitely won't stay here again.

Located across the street from the Inverness bus station, so very convenient when arriving from the Inverness airport by bus. Also very centrally located to bars, the Inverness museum, the train station, and the River Ness. Staff are friendly and rooms are fairly typical hostel rooms. There are showers and toilets on every floor. There is a deposit (that you get back) of £20 or a piece of ID for the room key, so bring cash if you don't want to give up your ID! There's also quite a few stairs so be aware if you plan to bring large luggage!

Definitely not my favorite stay at a hostel ever. Pros: Beds were clean, building secure. Very close to amenities and a grocery store. Cons: Kitchen and common room were far too small for the number of beds in the hospital. Way too crowded at meal times. Showers were not great. Bathrooms were bathrooms. But they were right next to our room so we heard pretty much everything.

Absolutely terrible, booked two nights and we're told our room was already booked the second night after we had already booked it. They 'hadn't noticed' that the room was booked for the second night. Leaving us with no where to go. They also refused to give back my partners clothes and their staff are very rude. No sense of security and feeling very unsafe. If you want to stay somewhere in Inverness literally anywhere would be better than there.

I regularly visit inverness to catch up with friends. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sam is a great asset to the team. Price is good. It's clean warm and comfortable. Good kitchen so eating in saves money. I would recommend you stay.

Great stay at great hostel. Comfy beds in clean rooms; bedding provided, clean, well equipped kitchen and lovely lounge to relax in. Staff are super helpful and manager went extra mile to make my stay comfortable. Thank you. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Beds are not so good. Bedframe is so wobbly. I couldn't get into top bed. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I loved it! Clean and comfortable nice and close to everything. Very friendly staff. I have nothing bad to say about this hostel. Ideal for backpackers who want to see the world without getting complicated.

One of the hostels that can be regarded for its prime city centre location, just 10 seconds off the Inverness Bus Station. Overall a great service, eventhough the reception is not open 24 hours but still the person in charge makes sure that guests arriving outside that time faces no trouble checking in. Rooms and washrooms are also clean and nice.

Rude staff, who were inept and slow at everything, from check in to opening the kitchen for breakfast. Made it clear what an inconvenience we were to them. Small rooms, mouldy bathrooms.

Probably the worst hostel I’ve stayed at. The mouldy rooms aside, the worst thing was how unhelpful the staff was. We came to Inverness to run the Loch Ness marathon, which a lot of the other guests were doing as well. As we had to leave the hotel before 8, the kitchen wouldn’t have opened yet (and by kitchen I don’t mean restaurant, I mean the physical room which they locked every night). Even though a lot of the guests wanted to make breakfast before the marathon they refused. They even refused to put out the water boiler into the common room so we could make porridge. Honestly nothing in the kitchen was worth steeling so can’t imagine why. All in all the hotel was dirty and in a bad location. I wouldn’t not recommend it to anyone.

Room was private feeling, which was good. Not the most lively part of Inverness, and not the best location, but if you are just looking for a place to sleep — it kind of works. I say kind of because an alarm went off around 3 a. M for about 30 seconds. I had no idea what was going on until I heard a loud group entering the building. While that is bound to happen at almost any hostel, it didn't leave the best lasting impression. Long story short, this place works if you miss out on booking at a better hostel, or private hotel/airbnb.

Hard to rate really. It is very cheap but does look a bit grim. The list of rules on the walls (If you steal other people's food you will be asked to leave") indicate problems they have had in the past. That said linen was clean and everything seems to move smoothly.

Quiet and cheap place to stay and sleep. They have realy nice kitchen, with free teas, coffee and milk. The staff really friendly. Recommended for travelers who plan spend night on budget in Inverness.

It's pretty good for a hostel. Common room is nice and bedrooms are okay. Staff are helpful. They have single bathrooms which is nice. It was kind of hard to close the window, which was okay because it was a little warm, but not when someone's car alarm went off outside at 5:00 AM, waking everyone in my room up. I stayed in a room with friends so it may have been different if I was travelling alone and had to stay in a room with strangers.

Been coming here for 7 years, and just never disappoints. I mean 12.50 a night. Bargain! And 1min away from bus station and 2 min away from train station. And shops 30 secs away from shops for food, fags and or drink.

Rather bad experience. The blanket sheets are not being washed regularly, the mattresses are falling apart, shower and bathrooms are moldy. One staff member wasn't being helpful when the cleaner stripped my bed instead someone else's, he just pissed off. Never again!

Quite expensive for what they offer, there are no lockers that you can actually close in my room at least, the doors have all been bent. You have to trust the people in your room to not touch or steal your stuff. No foods in the morning either, which I knew going in. I've spent a LOT less for MUCH better even in Edinburgh. They have a monopoly here for the most part, so it makes sense that they can really charge and operate however they want but I would like to think that for this price I would at least be able to lock my stuff up in my room while I'm out or asleep.

Nothing fancy, decent bunk beds with easy access to toliets and showers on each floor. Lounge and kitchen areas are cozy. Reception isn't the warmest but good folk in general, I'd be a bit less inviting if I had a couple of 15 hr shifts :)

Couldn't sleep. Especially round 8 guys and you had your partner in a room with bunk beds squeeking all night.
But can't fault the place cheap n cheer full. Need to get new beds tho cause those ones had all sorts of stains on them.

Did enjoy my 5 nights in this Hostel a lot (and I've been staying in a lot of different hostels)! The staff takes good care of you.

Cozy and friendly place, helpful and kind staff, great location. I highly recommend. It was the cleanest hostel I've seen in Europe. :)
