Best gluten free pizza I've ever had. Would share a photo but it was gone before I had the chance. Great traditional bar and lovely hosts, look forward to going back for a pint!

Just had my first, and theirs, GlutenFree Pizza. What an absolute treat to get a gf pizza that doesn't have the taste and texture of cardboard. Super tasty and the fact they went to the effort to source the flour and make the base themselves speaks volumes. 10/10

All of the above this hotel is a great place to stay just go there and see for yourself won't be disappointed 🤩❤💯

Had pizza tonight got to say best I’ve had ever well done chef.

Had the chip shop box for tea tonight. Beautiful fresh food. Lovely helpful service. See you next week.

Has to be one of the best pizzas I’ve had the well fired crust is just to die for well done guys top drawer.

My brother & sister in law treated me to a wood fired pizza this evening. (We has 3 pizzas, one side of chips & one side of onion rings) The pizza was absolutely first class, the stuffed crust was very tasty. It was cooked to my liking. I’ll certainly be back soon!

The food is excellent. Service with a smile (from behind the mask) Just ordered there take away pizza. Superb. 5 stars alround.

Had lunch at the Gun Lodge. It was fantastic. Had the Cajun Chicken Burger. Great Service and food. Highly recommend.

I had the takeaway chicken in batter and chips and it was really tasty and a generous helping.

Rude owner, hairs in food, poor facilities, dirty rooms, poor parking on site and not even worth 1/10 of the price. Spend the extra and stay in Inverness or nairn!

Had a magic nights sleep here with my daughter a few weeks ago x the owner was brilliant and really helpful, beds were comfy and it was all lovely and clean. Would defo recommend and only 5 mins from the airport x.

Just stayed the one night for work, evening meal simply amazing, my room was huge and lovely and clean, staff all friendly and welcoming, couldn’t ask for more. Many thanks.

We called in to the Gun Lodge for lunch, I had Chicken wrapped in Pancetta with creamy mash and veg, Gill had roast Lamb with roast potatoes veg and all the trimmings, lovely food, as always, looking forward to our next visit.

We had a very warm welcome and a very tasty scrummy meal. A must to visit again the next time we stroll up this far north again.

Great food every time I've been. Decor a bit outdated. Can be pricey depending on what you get.

Went for an evening meal last night . Told it was residents only. Yet restaurant advertised and board outside advertising fresh food. From previous reviews others have been served meals only. Maybe didnt like look of us. Mind you going by some previous reviews maybe they did us a favour. We went somewhere else and had a beautiful meal.

Bed is two twins pushed together and with very uncomfortable mattresses. Room smells like mildew and there appers to be mildew growing in a basket in the room. Way over priced compared to the places in Inverness.

Pleasant country pub with very nicely kept beer.

We were a little surprised to see that after booking a Sunday lunchtime, there was no "Sunday lunch".

Made to feel very welcome on arrival. Nice room (classic 1970/80’s? for a country pub/hotel in Scotland), single glazed windows are a heat sink but the heating was effective. Seemed to be a new carpet in the room and the bathroom facilities worked. Restaurant and Bar comfortable with a very good choice on the menu. Evening meal was very tasty and the breakfast also well cooked. Good sized car park. Very courteous and friendly staff. I’d stay again.

Have had a fantastic meal, here and sheena is fantastic with food allergies, the gun Lodge stack is a must, fresh local fish, all freshly prepared while you wait.

We, a German family with 3 boys (7, 10, 14 at that time) had a 3 nights stay in June or July 1994 in this fair and beautiful guest house. All I can say is that this stopover was an absolute winner. Worm wellcome, perfect lodging, very obliging and helpful owners and last but not least, delicious food. They even managed us a 2 houres boat trip by a friend of them in Portmahomack where we cought about 40 kg codfish within half an hour, which, of course, we gave them over for freez and use in their kitchen. I have no idea if the owner of 1994 is still the same in 2017 but reading the comments here (OK, skip that silly one) makes me think, everything is still as it was 1994. We recommend the Gun Lodge Hotel without any limitations! Greets from Germany.

Bit confusing on arrival more like a home than hotel small closed door says access reception through restaurant. Checked in took personally to room. Nice big room. Tea coffee tray and for once no walkers shortbread nice Viennese fingers. Shower bathroom that big could be a single room lol. Had to come down early for dinner as I noticed a 50th had booked have the seats. One drawback restaurant is shared with non residents perhaps priority should be to guest. IF you stay here YOU must must must take the cooked breakfast with fresh laid eggs (the chickens where out side my window) one of the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel fresh made and storonway blackpuding hmmmm.

Had a lovely meal on the last night of our holiday in Ardersier; good food, excellent service and atmosphere. We were worried when we heard that there was a table for 10 booked next to us but we needn't have, hardly knew they were there! The menu points out that they don't "do" fast food, but the venison is definitely worth the wait.

Arrived at the Hotel after 2330 as had a late boat transfer from HMS Queen Elizabeth. Me and my work colleague both had a room booked at the hotel and looked forward to a good nights sleep. On Arrival we where dropped off into the hotel car park we made our way to the reception door we found a sign on the window "please ring the bell when the restaurant is closed". Being a bright spark I proceeded to push the button and ring the bell. After 20 minutes me and my colleague began to wonder if perhaps no body was in. After another 25 minutes of knocking, ringing and phone calls. We realised where stranded. We called for a taxi to inverness and tried tirelessly to find another hotel, everywhere was fully booked. What's a guy to do? That takes me to now sat in a Tesco 24 hour in inverness awaiting 0500 so I can then sit in Inverness airport until 1400 to fly home. Would like to comment on the rooms just didn't get that far.

Lovely welcome, great food and a comfortable bed, what more could you ask for.

Just a one night stay very friendly and a comfortable nights sleep. The lady even printed my boarding pass for my early flight. Good food just what I needed.

Lovely traditional Scottish Hotel — we had lunch here. The staff were friendly and the food was good — both for us and our daughters (3 & 6).

Nice traditional hotel and bar. Good food and nice choice of drinks available. Nice coal fire, warm and friendly staff.

If you imagine this to be a picturesque Inn, as seems to be depicted in the misleading website, you will be disappointed. A bit dumpy, with worn carpets and decor. Restaurant not remarkable.

Great stay on business. Staff are friendly, efficient and polite. Food is good and the garlic bread outstanding. No hesitation in recommending.

We stayed here only for one night as we attended a friends funeral. The hospitality was second to none, all the staff were friendly and attentive. The owner Sheena was very welcoming and friendly, she explained that they were in the process of refurbishing the rooms and comunial areas. I believe she has her priorities right, to do the rooms first then comunial areas. Our room was very clean and comfortable, We had an evening meal which was superb and after a very good sleep a hearty well cooked breakfast to set us up for the journey home to London. I will definitley return to Ardersier and will definitley stay here again. I will recommend Gunn Lodge Hotel to my family and friends.

Great Hotel, Excellent Food, Very Friendly Staff and Locals, this is my second stay here, Highly reccommended.

Good all round hotel and restaurant. Sheena cooks a first class steak.
