Loch Ness Lochside Hostel Hostel

Stayed here twice within a few days, different rooms, different staff and different guests, would certainly recommend any time.

Best hostel on the Great Glen Way by far! Friendly staff, cozy, comfy and views to die for. All in all a definite pit-stop on The Great Glen Way.

We stayed here for a night in the middle of our 3 day Skye tour, it was an amazing stay. The rooms were comfortable, the staff were friendly. The breakfast was decent and the kitchen well equipped if you want to whip up a dish or two any time of the day. The view of the loch Ness is the best thing with a small stretch of private beach. The lounge has a pool table and some board games as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the stat even though it was a short one.

Lovely place was glad to find after a good day walking fair prices clean good shower nice people right on Loch ness can't go wrong.

Charming little hostel just steps from Shores of loch ness. While we didn't capture photos of Nessie, we did capture wonderful memories in the cozy confines of the hostel. Offering spectacular of loch ness especially during sunrise. Wake up early and don't miss out on the sunrise.

You can't fault the location nor the space of the communal areas. You can't even fault the facilities nor outside space. The part that I did find disappointing was the size of the shower for the one block. If you're large then you have no chance. Also there was virtually no space to keep your new clothes out if the way from the shower as if you dropped anything then it's damp and you'll have to negotiate your war back into your room without being seen. There should also be a better system fir handing your keys back if you want to make an early dart. The car park isn't huge so make sure you get there between 5pm and 6pm to be in with a chance. I did like the pool table as it was a good way to mix with people.

Small cozy 4 bed dorms with memory foam mattresses right by the lake with a spot for a camp fire. It has a Pool table, friendly host, free breakfast, frozen lasagna/pizza, and laundry service. Perfect if you want to hike the trails to urquhart castle or to fort augustus (the souvenir shop in invermoriston is worth a stop though)

We just had some short stay there, during travel from North, and we were absolutely delighted! So we'll organised, charming Hostel in so wonderful spot. Nice and clean, kitchen very nice organised, big but cosy public room with stunning view of Lochness… amazing. And prices really affordable, even for twin room. So I would highly recommend this lovely hostel for stay, and for sure we will be back for longer stay. Beata and Jack.

This was my first hostel experience, and it was amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The common area is large and very cozy. Great place to meet people and swap travel stories! They have a pool table and plenty of seating. Large kitchen space too. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Let's not forget the amazing view of the lake, so gorgeous! Loved waking up to it. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night here!
P. S. On a side note the breakfast was small, but satisfying and cheap! White bread was on point too.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. And the view from the common room and the beach is to die for! We played a long and boozy game of cards with another group of backpackers and exchanged stories and recommendations well into the night. Staff provided a budget-friendly breakfast with well-needed coffee We didn’t want to leave the next morning!

Lovely place to stay. Everything is clean and tide. Look to the loch is gorgeous!

I really like this hostel. This is my third visit. There is a private beach! Loch Ness is beautiful, truly stunning. Inside the kitchen is huge and the communal space is large and open and has very cool decor. The atmosphere is chilled. Dorms are fine. Some are 2 and 4 bed which is good . Insect screens on the windows so you can open them in the summer without being eaten by midges. Only reason I've not given it five stars is cause I've stayed at some really modern high spec hostels and Lochside is a bit more shabby chic.
