If you are able to book rooms here do it! Great simple accommodations with a bar and a small dining area. St. Andrews downtown and golf course are walking distance, about 20 minutes, and well worth the trek. Clean rooms, free Wi-Fi, and friendly staff. Simply amazing.

Great dorms, well appointed, good Wi-Fi.

Comfortable self-contained flats in a relaxed environment. Ideal location if attending the New Dawn Conference at Madras College.

An excellent place to stay especially for groups!

Students paid so much only to clean bathroom tiles for monthly room inspection?! Overpriced accommodation but you don't get good service… Just don't go with this accommodation if you can!

During the year, DRA is a great student residence for 1st year students and postgraduates. During the summer, it is an excellent choice for large groups who wish to rent self-catered flats (up to 5 double rooms). Only drawback is the walking distance into town (20mn), however this is all across pedestrian paths.

Lovely place, room with all facilities you need… Polecam, honestly recommend that place.

Probably the biggest most popular student accommodation near town, 15min walk into town… taxi cost around £4

Agreeable location, but, in terms of liveability or architectural panache, not a patch on the much missed David Russell Hall which once lay in its place.

Nice, clean, but kitchen appliances (cooker) so worn out that it was difficult to use. A long walk into town when it rains, even longer when coming back, and fire doors make loud boom when they slam shut.

Very God Campus have nice and clean room and comfortable bed.

Amazing in terms of catering and comfort with double beds and private toilets. The downside for students is that it is far away from town and away from the social atmosphere and study facilities.

Functional, clean accommodation. Kitchen is adequate for making breakfast and light meals. Easy walking distance from town/old course. There was ten of us staying in the apartment and it was comfortable.

The best experience ever. Every year in the month of June, we book for accommodation at David Russell apartments in St Andrews. Their apartments are very clean compared to Holiday in hotel rooms. I am looking forward to booking one for three days, next week. Keep up the good work. May God bless you.

Stayed self catered for a year and found them to be very helpful if anything was ever needed or broken.

Clean and peaceful environment.

Not bad value for money, but is obviously student accommodation so do not expect it to look anywhere near new. Edited review as earlier in the week we had a security guard letting himself into our apartment late at night while we were playing cards. No good explanation given as to why he needed to come in unannounced ("The lights were on" he said), and he stayed for thirty minutes! Given that he walked past our children's rooms on his way to the kitchen it was very unnerving, and has made us feel ill at ease ever since. Very upset and disappointed.

Very good hotel. Modern and advensed! I'm happy with everything.

A great place to live — very social, yet pricing is extremely expensive.
