We all had a ball! Our wedding was the most amazing day. We couldn’t have asked for more. We were able to leave all the decorating and organising on the day in their very capable hands and didn’t need to worry. All of our guests loved the venue, such an amazing space for a wedding. We can’t say enough about the staff. Every single staff member was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They really made the day run smoothly. We’ll be back in for dinner soon! Xx 😚

Gorgeous surroundings and lovely staff. The pub is beautifully decorated and furnished. The food is delicious, couldn't fault it and very reasonably priced.

Great time with friends last night. Food, staff and venue were exceptional. Could not fault anything.

The food and service was good. The staff were very efficient and friendly. I dined there three years
ago and a lot of money has been spent since then updating and refurbishing, especially the outside dining areas. I was surprised to find that the only disabled parking space was the one furthest away from the restaurant entrance, which seemed a bit odd. There is a very steep slope as you enter the dining area and no side rails to hang on to and you would have to be very strong to push a wheelchair up it. I had to ask one of the waiting staff where the disabled toilet was and she had to remove several items to gain entrance to it and it was almost blocked by a table seating five or six diners, one of whom had to move his chair to let me pass. There was no toilet paper, no hot water, no soap, no hand towels or hand drying facility. This was a very embarrassing experience for me and must also have been for the diners sitting so near the door to this toilet. I did complain to the waitress who apologised and and said she would attend to it right away. She also showed me to the ladies toilet to wash my hands. This is obviously a management issue and not one the waiting staff should have to deal with.

Fantastic, fresh, deliciously flavoured food. Steak Pie is a huge portion, the beef just melts in your mouth, make sure you make room for the Pitlessie Pavlova 😋. Our favourite place to eat, heading back for High Tea on Sunday. Staff very friendly and polite. Keep up the great work.

Amazing Take away this evening, collected within our time slot, payment contact less, the young man seeing to customers had a smile on his face and was really welcoming. Food was fab, we had a box for 2 and fish and chips which was not only tasty but a welcomed break from cooking. Thanks Kev and the team, glad you guys are back in action.

Had dinner here on Sunday night, it was delicious, especially the pork belly, I would highly recommend to eat here.

Liked the small meal menu. Had the Eden bagel. Smoked salmon with cream cheese and guacamole. Reasonably priced and delicious.

The smoked belly pork is to die for. Great steak pie. The Iberian pork pluma was delicious.

I had salad. I felt it could have been better. Not what I expected. Not much chicken or ham. More like a plate of lettuce, won’t ask for that again.

This is our favourite family place to eat. Very friendly, great for kids and staff are lovely.

"what's on the menu is gluten free? " "Everything. But you can't have that, that, that, that, most sauces, or sausages" My brother actually got ill that night because nobody seemed to know what was and wasn't gluten free. Thank god he isn't celiac. Service was painfully slow and rude (as you can see from the responses to a lot of these reviews). Two of our orders were wrong both times they brought them out and the food wasn't the greatest. Edit: The (now deleted) response to my review was completely unprofessional. I don't know anyone that works here and have been to your establishment before, I was there at the beginning of the month for a birthday.

Absolute gem! Loved staying here just wish my stay had been longer. Warm and welcoming, clean, decor and standards spot on and food excellent. Such friendly guys, would highly recommend to anyone! Looking forward to my next stay.

Pitlessie Village Inn is a great place to stay for a day or a week. Very comfortable accommodations and the pub is a wonderful gathering place for family and friends to enjoy a drink or a meal. The selections are excellent and offer a variety of tastes to satisfy even the picky eaters. Save room for the dessert, the mini cheesecake and coffee is a great end to a meal. I will certainly stay here again in the future. Thank you Leigh and Kevin for a great week. It made my visit to see family in Fife an even better time.

Fantastic food. Served quickly by very friendly staff. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The showers are brilliant! Fantastic value for money. The pub has been renovated in the last couple of years and is a great place to stay.

Great evening meal for 27 members of our car club. Leigh and her team prepared and served a fantastic three course Christmas meal for us in the middle of February! Faultless food and service!

We stayed yesterday in this gem of a place in the Phunky Pheasant room. It was cosy, comfy, the bed was great. The attention to detail with amenities and decor is amazing. We had a very reasonably priced delicious evening meal and in the morning were treated to full Scottish breakfast served by Leigh the owner. Everything about our stay was lovely. Leigh and her staff were very warm and friendly. Can't praise The Pitlessie Village Inn enough. We will definitely be back.

Just fantastic, regular change of menu, great daily specials, always lovely friendly staff and great value food and lovely surroundings. They also have b&b rooms although I've not tried them but if the standard of the restaurant is anything to go by I'm sure they would be brilliant!

Location of Pitlessie inn is ideal for me. Plan was dinner and drinks with a friend who lives in Pitlessie. We went in at 6ish on Friday night, but every single table was reserved yet not one of the tables had a customer. We were told we could have a table but would have to be out again just over an hour later. Rushing would have spoiled our evening so we decided to leave. I have been before and the food was good but after my most recent experience I won't be rushing to go back.

Very good local inn serving good meals at very reasonable prices. Pleasant surroundings with nice friendly staff. Not a huge amount of space so best to book. On a main bus route with a stop at the door so no real need for the car, but if you do come by car on site parking is limited. If you just want to come for a drink they have a good choice with a changing selection of specials.

A very pleasant meal in a friendly restaurant. Though it was about time the temp went up though. It was lovely to see the manageress back from maternity leave.

We stayed at the village inn for 4 nights, wish we could of stayed longer, Kevin & Leigh are the most adorable charming hosts & it reflects in their team, from the cleaning staff to the chefs, to the bar staff & waiter/waitress service. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of the team, we we're made to feel at home as soon as we entered. The food from the scrumptious hearty breakfast to your evening meals were delicious, the room we had (the black sheep) was tastefully decorated with a bed so comfy you didn't want to get out of it in the morning, a lovely large bathroom with an amazing power shower, the village inn is a must stay, we can't wait to plan another trip to Scotland and it's a no brainier as to where we will be staying. A massive thank you to Kevin & Leigh and all the staff who made our stay so memorable cheers guys Dee & Ray.

What a great venue Pitlessie Village Inn is. Great food, great staff and situated in beautiful Fife. So welcoming, warm, friendly people. Fantastic menu, all ingredients fresh and locally sourced, just adds to the whole experience. I highly recommend this establishment and will certainly let my friends and family know how good it is.

Came in on the off chance while out for a Sunday drive. Staff were welcoming and friendly, we were promptly seated and made to feel at ease. We chose the steak fajitas and beef burger. The fajitas came out looking like a mountain, piled high with peppers, onion and steak and looked amazing! The burger was topped off with Monterey Jack cheese and spicy sausage and was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted! Would go back for a burger alone. Went for the chocolate brownie and a mini trio of desserts, both were polished off in rapid fashion. Great little find and will definitely be back and highly recommend the village inn. Well worth a visit.
